Pyro Pete 1,920 Posted June 23, 2023 (edited) Interesting. Wonder if more clubs will try this to get more sales. Edited June 23, 2023 by Pyro Pete
Indy 3,317 Posted June 23, 2023 Great idea, I must admit I don’t like shirt sponsorship it does spoil the kit. If Norwich sold them without I’d be very tempted to buy again.
cambridgeshire canary 6,801 Posted June 23, 2023 To be fair this is one ugly sponser. I imagine it looks much better without.

Mengo 825 Posted June 23, 2023 Good move. Good thinking from Watford. I'm sure this simple idea will be very effective 👍. Taking us back to the way it was . Like basics and choices.✅️👌🤗🍺 cheers.
Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 3,857 Posted June 23, 2023 Probably works out well for their sponsors as well. How many non-Watford fans would've paid any attention to who their sponsors were? I just had a glance, out of curiosity.

You can almost see the logo peeling off from here. Don't know how the pricing works but I would expect to pay less if I was promoting the sponsor's business. Ulfotto 644 Posted June 23, 2023 I guess it also saves them having to find a different kit sponsor for the child sizes which can’t be gambling companies which I guess is 90% of the kits. if I remember the Norwich kids kits were sponsored by the trampoline place. Nexus_Canary 1,024 Posted June 23, 2023 Depends on the sponsor I think the lotus one looks class, Aviva had a certain style. I certainly don't want a betting company on my shirt so yeh, the option of no sponsor on a replica kit is a great idea

I think placing money down to ensure a payout in case of accident or disaster far out weighs £50 on Sad Ken at the 3.00 Doncaster.

Football kits fit the needs of a footballer on a football pitch; they're not really very practical as casual clothing. Yup, sweaty nylon is not a pleasant experience for the wearer ....or anyone near them.
