Myra Hawtree 124 Posted December 30, 2022 A bit worrying that Watford have now lost two games. A bit unlikely they will lose three - or is it?

hogesar 9,716 Posted December 30, 2022 If they do they'll also be looking for a manager again I suspect.
Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 3,835 Posted December 30, 2022 That's a bit like saying you expect Burnley to lose because they've been winning a lot. It's surely better to play a team in bad form than one that's winning regularly, isn't it?
cambridgeshire canary 6,769 Posted December 30, 2022 We should be beating teams like Watford 😉

yellowrider120 775 Posted December 31, 2022 Regardless of the Swansea thrashing, Monday will be a far bigger test for us (and AR) than Reading.
KiwiScot 1,459 Posted December 31, 2022 Just had a quick trawl through the Watford forum as part of Pups(no xg) preparation and they seem like us. Moaning about a poor team with no fight or effort. Might not be as hard a game as we think.

Couldn't keep a draw at Luton. Home form pretty awful.
Newtopia 519 Posted December 31, 2022 I think Watford are always difficult for us to beat, a bit of bogey team - so I have that feeling of dread that we might be the side to help them reverse their slump in form.
Mello Yello 2,298 Posted December 31, 2022 We need to create a Watford gap.....
Bovril 219 Posted December 31, 2022 They are in a similar position to us, only have more issues financially off the pitch. Joao Pedro is out for 6 weeks, leaving their only player to fear to be Ismailla Sarr. Sarr however has a big problem with consistency/attitude, only really utilising his talent when he wants - unfortunately he usually decides that time to be against us, such as when he tore us apart in the reverse fixture. Right now they have injuries, and a shambolic defence, we need to target Troost-Ekong if he plays as he has a massive error in him every game.

But I guess their coach is saying "their only player to fear is Angus Gunn".
