Not sure about 'phew', Millwall now to 6th and on the same points as us.

There's a part of me that want's Millwall to get promoted to the Prem just for the sheer insanity and upset it would bring to the clean, pure modern sanitized top flight

Blackburn 3rd...having just lost their 11th game of 24.

Yet there are some who dont think this is a bad league this season

Yeah if you ignore they don't draw so also win a lot.

Sigh.

Yeah, Blackburn have won 13. Same as the top two, but played one more match.

I think it’s pretty obvious the league is very poor. I’d say it’s the worst championship I’ve ever seen. The gap from 3rd to 17th is 10 points, at the same point last season, the same points gap from the same number of games played last would only go down from 3rd to 9th.

I think you can see from the games we’ve played in general we are poor but also the teams we’ve played have been poor. Our side from 2 seasons ago would walk this league at a canter.

I've said elsewhere I don't think the top teams have the same quality but the 'poorer' teams are much more tactically aware and disciplined.

It's why all bar one of the bottom 4 have over a point a game and have conceded less than usual.

Well Sunderland made our attempt to beat Blackburn what it was carp

Just short of 44,000 at the Stadium of Light as well!!

The boy Mowbray despite being a 'British' manager is doing a fine job there and the play offs are a real possibility for them. Such a shame that another poster has suggested that Yellows want to shun another 'British' manager and revert to a European gentleman. I want the 'best' candidate to replace Smith (manager) irrespective of nationality.  To simply 'brush away' candidates from this country would be stupidity of the highest order.

Indeed...the fact that if burnley win their game , they will be 11 points above the team in 3rd who have lost 11 games tells it all. They probably cant believe their luck.

Thats where we should be aspiring to have been..and indeed were with them and Sheff Utd , 8 weeks ago

Yet here we are trying to stave off coventry for a playoff place

If the top two places weren't gone before, they are now.

So the league is far more competitive, rather than poor?

Surely a poor league would have huge point gaps from a few clubs to the rest..

🤓Ummm if you look at the XG and stats📋 Brentford should be very happy with a draw🤓

It was a joke but on xG it was something like 2.2 v 1.1.

Decent result against a top 4 club. Hanging on a bit at 2-2 but did still get a point. 20 points after 16 games will do me, I’m not greedy. Having put my ST up for resale (didn’t fancy an early start from Leeds this morning) in a way I’m glad not to have missed another historic win in a game I had a ticket for but couldn’t get to like I did v Chelsea last season and City this!
