Is there a worse website than this, trying to make head or tail of the press conference, constantly crashing, jumping around with adverts, waiting for the different comments from Smith to appear, says that’s the end then further comments appear

It's the people who do subscribe to it that are probably keeping this forum going though, ad economy has collapsed, so probably better to stop slating it really?

I really don't think that saying i don't subscribe to it and feel that i have not missed out on anything is ' slating it ' do you?

Im sure the former could be attained under a freedom of information request. Not so sure about the latter.

How ludicrous, freedom of Information requests are for public sector organisations, not for private companies, do you think Archant is a government department?

It provides at least three items a week that I cannot access elsewhere and are good value - Paddy's Pointers, the (usually) Monday Q&A sessions, and the matchday minute-by-minute coverage, which is often the only way I can follow the game. The Q&As are frequently interesting because the reporters seem to feel themselves free to offer blunter opinions than is the case in formal articles.

It’s £20 a year. I know cost of living is going up but people complaining about the cost is ludicrous, especially since I’m willing to bet plenty of them paid to have the paper delivered. The Pinkun, MB’s coverage on the Athletic and the various ACN/TNC podcasts gives me all the NCFC coverage I need, much better than it used to be.

I'm happy to stand corrected, although stands for anybody who does, so many people have got adblock now and a lot of money shifted from content ads to video ads (YouTube etc). That's been a major contributor to the growth in paywalls.

Send a FOI request to Archant then, after telling me how much you want to bet that you don't receive either:

1). No reply

or

2). A reply telling you that as a private sector organisation FOI requests don't apply to them

We'll soon find out if its been a success or not. If 1 year and a day after Chris Sutton's first article he is no longer a columnist then we know they couldn't afford him. I know he was a bankrupt but he's got decent punditry gigs, so doubt he's doing it on the cheap.
