Relegation ""celebration"" thread

Recommended Posts

Well if you don't laugh you'll cry right? Or something like that. Still, no VAR and no plastics next season so at least there is that I suppose..  And we might win a game from time to time too 🙃

I honestly can’t f@£ing wait for it.

f@&k the premier league and anyone that supports it. Keep your money, keep your half and half scarfs, keep your fans from 8000 miles away.

Totally the wrong attitude.

How can you support a club and want them to get relegated?

Quite agree.

Nothing less than promotion will be acceptable.

That's a petulant answer.

No Norwich fan realistically thought we were going to win the league, but whatever club you support in whatever league, you want them to finish as high as they possibly can.

If you are actually saying you want Norwich City to be relegated, I cannot see how you can support them.

You sound like someone who hasn't watched many Norwich games this season?

Surely if you have then you'd understand the downbeat nature of Norwich fans who have been to lots of games this season?

I was agreeing to your post, not Buh's.

I hate losing, I hate being relegated and the Championship is becoming a real naff league.

Poor display tomorrow, crowd turns on Smith. Then he gets shown the door, then I will celebrate.

A champ season with Smith at the helm will be like the prem season with nice guy Chris at the helm mark my words!!

The Gunn Club tomorrow.

I would like to hear what the owners, BOD and Webber have to say about this season.

Seems to be a deathly silence ever since Smith was appointed.

That is an oxymoron.

You won't hear from Webber, he's too busy hiding up a ****ing mountain.

The owners are only wheeled out and oh so happy to talk when the goings good. Every relegation they hibernate for four months.

Webber's stock has gone down sufficiently enough for him to stay at Norwich. Last year he said he was 'just passing through' and wanted to work in Europe.

Who would touch him now?

He needs to be held to account at board level, but the majority shareholders have no desire for the top tier.

Relegation has been sealed since August. There's nothing to "celebrate" now

There hasn't been a single moment during the season where it has looked like we have a chance in this league.

The most miserable season in the club's history.

I don't know I remember that season we drew 0-0 with Burton Albion twice. I mean, that was not quite as miserable but it sure was painful

It was painful, but this season is something else entirely. I'd rather watch the 2008-09 season again than this dross.

Get shot of both Smith's 🤷‍♂️, well all 3 if you include old Neppers.

I can only see two (related) positives at the moment.

The refs will be total crap, but at least they won't be biased, and the randomness will be truly random. Some woeful decisions will go for us, and some woeful decisions against.

No VAR (we hope, although there are threats to bring it into the Championship), so when we score a goal we can celebrate without having to wait five minutes while VAR scrambles around to find reasons to disallow it.

Oh, a possible third. Back to Benjamin Bloom, Ben HD and a few other good Youtube vloggers who know what they are talking about rather than the American vloggers you get in the Prem.

Has there ever been a season when you haven't been miserable?

Here's one from 2006 - 15 years of being miserable - I wonder that you don't give up! 🤣

I for one am sick of this "nice family club" image that we have. No wonder no one takes us seriously. We need new blood in the boardroom (ND doesn''t count, just another yes man) and someone with a bit of ambition. Bloody hell, they seem quite prepared to just be in this division, and I get the impression a lot of the fans are tool.

Do you not like the Premier League? I think you might have mentioned it in a few other thousand posts.
