Overpaid Prima Donnas

Recommended Posts

Well done Notts Forest, Borehamwood. Well played Plymouth, Kidderminster.

Performances of these 'lower league' teams showed up the so called better sides.

Fine start by Cantwell.....NOT!!!

I thought Cantwell look alright when he came on. What were you expecting him to do? Score a second half hat-trick?

Was chatting to a friend about this earlier today, cup upsets have happened throughout the years so not sure the overpaid prima donna theory is necessarily true. There must be reasons and factors, motivation is probably up there though. Its what makes the FA cup special.

And Kiddyminster almost beat West Ham and Plymouth took Chelsea to the end. Fair play to all.

Yes - Op mentioned them in his original post.

It was a convoluted way of getting there. But we did.

All roads used to lead to Emi Buendia  now they lead to Todd Cantwell . Though for a while,  they all took a detour through Josh Sargent.

That's only since the Russ Martin bypass was completed.

Oh how I long for the bygone days of (Lee) Trundling along  the Becchio Byways and Lafferty Lanes.

The timeline of my reminiscing  is somewhat  dodgy.

Dont get me started  about the rerouting  of Sutton Street  to Blackburn . British record at the time , for a lanky piece of Tarmac.

In the FA cup there were (shock, horror!!) some upsets.

Now to have a go at one of our loan players.

Most pointless post of the day!

It's Cantwells birthday in a few weeks if you want to set a reminder to dig him out about it then too if you like? Although you may have to stay up to 12.01am on the 27th to beat Cambridge C though.

The Snodgrass side-roads used to get busy too.  Yet Jordan Rhodes would be clear.  Ironic considering how suitably named it was at the time.
