I’m pointing out the ‘Cantwell guy’ didn’t mention anything good Cantwell did the past two games when he played well, now he’s not playing so well he’s very quick to point it out. That’s all...

Watford are not letting us play are they? At this minute we don't deserve anything from this.

But we have seen this team does have a resilient streak late in games.

Yeah think that a harsh way to look at it though. We dominated the ball and got in to good areas on several occasions, how many crossing opportunities did Aaron’s get? They did create the better chances but we were wasteful with our final ball.

This half so far we’ve been atrocious though, lost our way completely, looking like it might finish 3-0 at this rate!

Dominating the ball is meaningless without creativity though. We've been toothless all game really.

And poor at Brentford. Another team that pressed us really well. Of course he had a niggle, but Cantwell excels when afforded time on the ball. Under pressure he's actually quite slow to react and prone to a mistake.

In some games, Steipermann is better than Cantwell. Depends on the opposition and set up.

Cantwell is a significantly better player than Stiepermann in every single aspect other than physical height.

Watford are a physical side but they are also skillful -that's a combination we always struggle against.

It's like watching a good 14 year old side play their dads. Technically can play better but just cannot compete physically.

Those 14 year olds must be pretty good to be leading their dads' league

It's as close to a fact as you're likely to find on a message board

In the opinion of several premier league scouts, our own coaching team, and both factually and statistically too.

Yeah, I agree, but at least we could say that as a positive about the first half performance...

Look how much poorer the second half performance has been because we can’t control the ball anymore!

Yep, thats fair.

What annoyed me about the post I was responding to was the idea Watford hadn't even tried to get a result despite creating the better chances.

Hugill poor. Why not to Skipp?

Poor decision making is the hallmark of a striker lacking confidence.
