Harry53 229 Posted August 15, 2020 I am watching the snooker final and see the audience (who are obviously inside) are not social distancing. So why shouldn't football stadiums be allowed to be full?

hogesar 10,762 Posted August 15, 2020 To be fair if you're that bored you want to travel to go and watch some guys play snooker then you're probably secretely hoping you catch Coronavirus anyway. 1

I had a great time AT many snooker events. It's way more entertaining when you understand what's going on. Maybe a bit complex for you though @hogesar Edited August 15, 2020 by NFN FC Pernickety hogs 1

I presume you meant you had a great time AT many snooker events...

Capt. Pants 5,008 Posted August 15, 2020 We could just hope this pilot scheme goes well. Go badly and you won't be seeing the inside of CR for a while.
Branston Pickle 4,149 Posted August 15, 2020 Watching snooker live is pretty good fun - one of the best matches I saw was Ronnie v Jimmy at Wembley a few years back, the place was packed (including any number of ‘interesting’ looking types!) and the atmosphere was more like a footy match. Never been to the Crucible though...

......and Smith must score. 1,596 Posted August 16, 2020 Looking at the score going into the final session O’Sullivan has distanced himself from his opponent pretty well 😀
