I have no idea what a cold, hard boiler is but when I was a kid we did not have falafel, onion bhajis, BBQ pulled jackfruit (or any other sort of jackfruit) or pasta. We did have cheese and tomato sandwiches but you had to make them yourself, you couldn't buy them in a supermarket. We didn't have supermarkets either....

You mean the place where food of school dinner quality masquerades as gastro pub and they spew out the latest cheap muck disguised as beer to the kind of people that think Scampi is posh. Spend an extra couple of quid and support an independent. ....the food and beer will be better. If Greggs sold beer it would be called weatherspoons local.

I thought it was a small salad  FTW? If its medium I’ll stop standing on the small container to get as much in as I can.
