Hucks6 169 Posted April 13, 2019 How many points for automatic promotion?
First Wazzock 904 Posted April 13, 2019 92 as it stands, but I don't think we'll need that many
Ian 1,136 Posted April 13, 2019 I reckon 88 would probably be enough.
Tired 102 Posted April 13, 2019 Well the best that Sheff Utd can hope for is 91 points, we're on 85 points so we'd need 7 points from 15 available to guarantee promotion.
lake district canary 4,542 Posted April 13, 2019 Sheff utd could get to 91 points, so we need 6 points as long as we keep a better goal difference.
sonyc 5,541 Posted April 13, 2019 I want us to win the title though. And for 2018/19 to have a neat top and tail look to it!

Drazen Muzinic 1,446 Posted April 13, 2019 Win the lot - 100 points would be a nice round number.

sonyc 5,541 Posted April 13, 2019 It's possible (if we beat Wigan tomorrow) that SU could draw or lose their Good Friday match (lunchtime) and that would mean we go into our match in the evening just needing a win to confirm promotion.
ricardo 7,396 Posted April 13, 2019 90 points will be more than enough

Surfer 1,547 Posted April 13, 2019 One win, two draws and two losses will give us 90 points, and I think 92 would see us finish as Champions.
Tetteys Jig 830 Posted April 13, 2019 needs to be 7 basically as if sheff won all their games 1 nil and we lost 3 and won 2 by 1 goal we would be 1 goal behind I think
CDMullins 443 Posted April 13, 2019 If my maths are correct; And assuming we win tomorrow, if Sheff U fail to win in their 3pm game Friday; A win against Sheff Wed will see us promoted.

And.....if they were to lose their lunchtime game then they could then only get to a max 88 points even if they win their last 3 games. If we beat Wigan tomorrow too then technically we would need just the point to confirm promotion. Two big games then....our Wigan game of course and then we become Forest supporters next Friday lunchtime!! Edited April 13, 2019 by sonyc
