Marcus Edwards?

Like the story on the Pink''un says... If he''s just not cut out to be a professional footballer...he will never make it.

Might just be an arrog@nt, selfish tw@tt, you just don''t know... football is a team game, no good just being able to dribble and hit a good shot...

So many players who have promised so much early on in their careers (like the article states) but never made it.A professional athlete needs to keep their head in the game to move forward and it seems as though this dude really can''t. What a shame it would be to see talent like his go to waste. I hope he realises what a great opportunity he has in frront of him and grasps it with both hands. He can either have a career at the very top of the pro game or slip into obscurity. His future is his to write. It depends whether he wants a best-seller or some turgid tome that nobody wants to even start with!

If the lad needs a role model he only needs to look at the bloke in the 14 shirt to see how to conduct himself.

Then a glance at the number 23 to see how he could be developing.

I hope he gets some game time so we can enjoy his loan and he can get to continue his development. Would be tragic if he loses his way, and as a youngster we should help him.

No reason to think he hasn’t had a back problem, so let’s encourage him.

I still wait to see how this loan pans out. He have featured for our development squad either as far as I''m aware. Either he''s not fit, or he''s not near first team ready.

This morning i was with a Spurs fan who lives and works locally. He has a relative who works at Park Farm Hotel Hethersett where young Marcus Edwards is staying. He told me the following two stories which might explain why ( if true i hasten to add ) his attitude and application could be his downfall.1) Wandering down to reception in the early hours in just a pair of boxer shorts and flip flops carrying a boxed pizza asking for ketchup.2) Going into the hotel bar after midnight just as it is closing and ordering a pint.Clearly without some sort of guidance his career will only head one way.

What’s the point in playing him? The season is effectively over so why should we blood another teams player who won’t be here next season?

You don''t know that he won''t be with Norwich after the summer, bringing him in early may have been in preparation for next season. DF has said he''ll be involved soon so I guess it depends on how the next 7-8 weeks go.

An absolute scandal that a young man would eat a pizza and have a pint of beer.

Some years ago, I played in a pro-am golf tournament with one Gary Lineker who at the time was England''s main man. At the buffet after playing, he had the biggest plates of carbs and sugar of anyone there. Didn''t seem to do him much harm.

This lad is probably burning 5-6,000 calories a day just by training (assuming he''s training properly and not like Oliveira).
