So good to see a player who oozes class. So comfortable at any time and such a hard worker as well.

I said to my golf buddies this morning that if we still have him past January 31 I would be surprised.
If he''s gone by January it just goes to show how Delia has made this club into much more of a selling club than Mr Chase ever achieved, yet the one is perceived as a saint and the other a villain.

It''s more an indictment on the division of wealth in modern football compared to when Chase was in charge. If a big club wants a Championship player enough, they''ll pay what''s necessary. Your attempts at creating arguments against the board are getting more laughable by the day.Looking forward to your party piece at the AGM, though!

I think the time will come at the end of the season, if we don''t go up. Then the board will be looking to reduce the wage bill even further.

Yes we will be down another £30 million next season without promotion.

Yes we will be down another £30 million next season without promotion.
Although at least next season we won''t have to factor in the bloated wage bill, so the squad at the end of this season should be way more sustainable than the one with which we ended last season. We also have more saleable assets. Even if we do go up, the stark reality is that anyone outside the top six is a selling club to some degree, and anyone outside the top flight is another stratum down the food chain.

Okay then, if we''ve got such a wonderful Board how come they don''t put any of their own money into the club year on year so that we can be like Man City instead of the little ole Norwich brand that the Suffolk Socialists like to maintain???

Just how many times has Delia put the phone down on a Sheikh ???

Now I don''t expect the boy Ferrari to give us an honest answer on that one..............

Keep waiting Lapps,All Pig Mince wants to do is come on here and spout utter $hite towards our board, making up ridiculous claims with zero evidence, telling lies about meetings that never happened, and generally finding more and more nonsensical ways to sling mud in the direction of them - or anyone who dares to support them.I just wish he''d f**k off and deposit himself with the rest of the Pig$hit in the slurry tank...

All the likes of you want to do is spread disinformation about meetings that WERE held; but it is more convenient for you to sweep them under the carpet just like that radio interview where Delia confessed to knowing nothing about what goes on at Colney.

You are an agent of the SS and take your instructions directly from the boy Ferrari.

This is a classic example of supporter getting Board they deserve.

The next time the SS need to sack a manager it will take them at least 6 months. Remember where you heard it first.

The second word is off.

Never in a million years would you like to be like Man City.

The success would be too much and give you a nose bleed.

The honest answer is actually already on the public record.

Delia admitted in the Times interview that they do not entertain any enquiries for the club.

For the life of me I cannot fathom out what your avatar is Big Vince. It looks like two phalluses with legs rubbing butts together. What is it? It is two phalluses Big Vince?

It is a Martin Brothers fire dog.

Very well-known late 19th early 20th century potters.

It is two reptiles strapped back to back.

I don''t recall her saying how many offers she had had, let alone any specifics about Sheikhs. Can you enlighten us, or are you just embellishing a truth to suit your agenda? No need to answer, it''s a rhetorical question.

I never implied that I knew how many sheikhs otherwise I would not have posed the question.

But it is fair to assume from The Times interview that there have been a number of enquiries for the club.

It is also quite plausible that there is no record of who these people were if Delia was not even listening to anything they said.

I own a house every now and then someone will put a leaflet in the letter box

now I don''t want to sell so that goes in the bin

since I own the house that''s my concern and nothing to do with anyone else

That is a false analogy.

They don''t own the house outright.

There are shareholders who own another 47% of the house.

There are 22,000 season ticket holders who pay the bills on the house.

There are another 18,000 members who sometimes pay to have a look inside the house.

The Suffolk Socialists need to take these stakeholders into account and should hold a referendum on whether the house should be offered for sale and to whom.

So why haven''t all these people, sheikhs and otherwise, who want to buy the club, made their interest known?

Why haven''t they gone public? Nothing to stop them from doing that, infact, you''d expect it as one of the first things they''ll want to do is get a clubs fans and the local media aware of that interest, get them onboard.

Do they all come along, are rebuffed, one by one, and choose to say or hint at absolutely nothing about their hopes and intentions?

I buy a jersey every year and pay for the overseas feeds...so do several other Canucks I know.

I can tell you right now, none of us think we are "part owners" by any stretch. Ridiculous sentiment that because you attend a game you have decision making power.

How the hell has a thread abou Maddison turned into another of Vincey Winceys rants about our owners?

I don’t like them either, but there is nothing you can do Vincey other than get your consortium together to buy the club!

Big Vince''s family has a long history of cowardice.

It goes all the way back to the early 15th century and the Battle of Agincourt. One of my ancestors was called to arms by the king, but was found 7 years later living as a vagrant in a cave on the North Yorkshire moors.

Now are you satisfied?

So are you saying that Delia was telling a lie when she implied there had been enquiries for the club?
As far as I can remember there was no clear implication in that interview with The Times that there had been inquiries for the club. It was possible to read that into the comment on the lines of not even listening to inquiries, but equally it may just have been a careless figure of speech. In any event there is a crucial difference which needs to be understood, between an inquiry, which may be very tentative, and may well not be pursued, and a full-blown detailed proposal. As Old Shuck indicates, any would-be buyer who is serious enough to have produced the latter is hardly going to be put off by the first No they receive. Going public would be an obvious next step, along with or prior to making a formal offer, which would then have to be put to shareholders. So as a matter of fact Smith and Jones have never been made a formal takeover offer. And as a matter of a reasonable assumption no proposal falling short of being a formal offer has been made by someone determined and serious and well-funded enough to go public to press their case. Which suggests any inquiries there have been would not have withstood public scrutiny.
