York Canary 28 Posted March 16, 2015 Looks like we''re only going to have the one out-and-out fast winger in Redmond for now (until Bennett is back). Let''s hope Murphy helps Wigan take points off those teams around us
The Bristol Nest 517 Posted March 16, 2015 The boy needs a game. Good luck and help us out!

Mr Angry 1,570 Posted March 16, 2015 Scored a great goal against them in the League Cup on his debut last season.
Move Klose 303 Posted March 16, 2015 Good to see Toffolo, McGeehan, Jacob Murphy, Josh Murphy, Morris, Loza all going out and getting very valuable game time this season. Hopefully will stand them in good stead wherever they go on and play professional football.
shefcanary 2,435 Posted March 16, 2015 WFL Grant Holt giving Josh banter on twitter tonight. Forgot he was there. This could be interesting,
ron obvious 1,514 Posted March 16, 2015 Really hope he makes the grade. I still think he''s got more potential than Redmond.
Drazen Muzinic 1,446 Posted March 16, 2015 Good luck Josh.More valuable experience to hopefully become an NCFC regular in time.Hope he gives our rivals plenty to cope with over the next few games.
GJP 79 Posted March 16, 2015
Really hope he makes the grade. I still think he''s got more potential than Redmond.
Interesting that you think Murphy''s got more potential than Redmond but you begin by saying you hope he makes the grade... whereas Redmond has already made the grade. Well over 100 apps for Birmingham and Norwich and about 20 odd caps for England U21s. And not even a full year older than Murphy. If either of them are going to play for a bigger club than Norwich it''ll be Redmond.
clarkey1972 0 Posted March 16, 2015 Cant help thinking, at this stage of the season when we need all the options we can, that this isnt a good move.Maybe it means a few bodies coming in, hope so.
Making Plans 936 Posted March 16, 2015
Redmond has already made the grade.
Not for us he hasn''t. Potential yes but thus far unfullfilled and by a long wayIn all honesty he should be taking this league by the scruff of the neck & putting in quality performances week after week but overall his form this season has been underwhelming. There''s a difference. He''s been underwhelming recently, for sure. But actually most of the season he''s been one of our better players. He has made the grade as a professional footballer at this level. There should be absolutely no doubt about it.
Bethnal Yellow and Green 1,566 Posted March 17, 2015

Redmond has already made the grade.
Not for us he hasn''t. Gone off the boil under Alex Neil as he doesn''t use wingers so much but still a vitally important player for Norwich this season.
Tetteys Jig 830 Posted March 17, 2015 I had Redmond as POTS until about January. He was going well but seems lately to have tapered off as young players do. I think he''ll come back refreshed from a few games out of the 11 and be massive for us. Hope he starts tonight, you all saw what he did when brought on at half time last time out against the Terriers.
ca 1 Posted March 17, 2015 Good move for the lad, he needs games, lets hope he can do some damage against the top clubs that Wigan still have to play
ron obvious 1,514 Posted March 17, 2015 I''ll rephrase it then. I think Murphy could become a better player than Redmond will. Just my opinion.
Bradley Johnsons left foot 0 Posted March 17, 2015 Not seen enough of Murphy in terms of first team starts to really judge him. Difficult for a young player to come off the bench and really make an impact. If he does get some starts then this loan will be very beneficial to him and hopefully he will come back a more useful player next season. I still think in terms of ability Redmond is head and shoulders above Murphy. Yes, his form has dropped recently but like someone mentioned earlier he has been one of our better performers this season and at the turn of the year he would''ve been in the running for POTS IMO.
