1.
The question is can he do any worse ?
Why don''t you tell us that if your supposed to be a Jedi master? The answer you seek is No - he couldn''t do any worse. The force is strong with this one!
2. There were some comments on this last night. It seemed to divide opinion, given a lot of SAF assistants seemed to have failed. But then could he be any worse than Hughton?
3. It''s a very interesting question with a simple answer: Yes. I just wish the board would hurry up a bit!
4. I don''t see too many on here wanting to jump ship...more like steer in a different direction (away from the relegation zone). And for that...we need a new man at the wheel. I don''t see the point in going head long into the rocks when you could change course. Just an opinion!
5. Probably 1-0 (relief) and Hughton get''s to keep his job a little longer (urgh!).
6. I would suggest Reggie and HC are coming from planet Earth...rather than living in some dreamland.
7. If we equal what we have done over the last two seasons (bearing in mind that should be a minimum expectation given money spent) and finish 12th or better then I would admit that I was wrong...no problem. How confident are you that is going to happen under CH? We can do better without him.
8. Seriously? What a pathetic thread. Are you really suggesting that if people live away from Norwich they can''t have an opinion? Because I can''t get to games then my opinion doesn''t count? I certainly want to see the back of CH. That doesn''t make me a Pant Wetter; it makes me a supporter because I want the best for the club. I think you need to grow-up. I for one wont be wetting my pants over football - there are far more important things.
9. I don''t think it will go wrong on Saturday. I''ve got this sense that we can do just enough at home to survive. But this keeps Hughton in a job - like West Ham. This masks the fact that we could do much better without him. Like most on here I have no confidence in him. We have the players to be better than fighting relegation.
10.
I saw a very poor left back allowing him to cut in on his left foot most of the time which made it seem that Snoddy was better than he actually was. however he created very little or found a fellow player with his crosses. To defend against him all you have to do is show him outside and keep him on his right foot. He did however play his best game for us this season. But Redmond has and will be the biggest attacking threat we have!
We need Redmond and Snoddy...we just don''t need Hughton.
11. It''s all about the next game. As they say...fish and chip paper the next day. It hurts, but now it''s Saturday that counts. 90 min. to save a job.
12. Hmm...so a player is selected to talk to the press he is hardly going to say "the manager is a tw#@". I wouldn''t take this to mean that all the players think like this. NCFC selected a guy who is a "safe-bet" to talk to the press. I hope you''re right but still not convinced. What goes on behind closed doors is often different. We shall see on Saturday. OTBC
13. This would be exciting. I don''t think it will happen but it''s a great idea. At least we would start scoring with the baby-faced assassin.
14. Palace are worse than us, but I feel Sunderland will improve so expect we will be battling to do better than Sunderland and Cardiff. Still possible if we get rid of Clueless. We have the players to get out of trouble but those players need to have a bit of fight about them. The worry is that was missing yesterday. Fulham and Stoke are similar level to us. All is not lost but we need a change and soon.
15. Completely agree, Jimmy. But Hughton may not be manager by then.
16. I think that is a bit harsh. We were humiliated today and I think the manager should go, but the season is not a write-off just yet and with better leadership it''s not too late to turn things around. I think the players need a new leader...it''s a confidence thing. The heads went down and that was it. They need a manager who instills confidence and you will see a different team. We do have quality enough to stay up.
17. Sacked in the morning, he''s getting sacked in the morning! I actually feel sorry for the guy but it''s time to move on.
18.
For goodness sake, grow up. Getting stuffed by Manchester City - what a shocker. We will not match clubs like this when they are on song and blubbing about the manager or the players isn''t going to change it. Our record against Manchester City in Manchester is utterly awful and has been whomever the manager is. Chris Hughton is trying to build a squad here that can be established in the Premiership and that will take time. We have some very good players but not enough of them when injuries strike. Our owners don''t have the level of wealth to be able to underwrite massive transfers so we have to be patient and try to stay in the Premiership whilst the building process continues. It isn''t easy to be patient and see the bigger picture but that also isn''t the manager''s fault.
For goodness sake...open your eyes! 6-0. Shambles.
19. Absolute shambles. What more proof is needed. HUGHTON OUT!
20.
Hi all, An article, written from a neutral''s viewpoint, about Norwich City and Chris Hughton, can be read at www.mcnamara-sport.tumblr.com Good luck tomorrow, and for the season.
Yes, this is a balance account of where we are. The next month is make or break for Hughton. I think we have enough quality to survive but have lost faith in our manager. Hoping to be proved wrong. OTBC
