1. Jeez Flashy, you''re starting to sound a bit LDCish,  defending the indefensible. If that very same tackle had happened the other way round, would you see it the same, really, honestly? if so, then you are deluded. It was a red , maybe we should have a poll.
2. If AN had turned out to be the bright young thing we all hoped he was, we would have been glad that we had him nailed on that 2 yr contract. Because sure as eggs are eggs, had we made a decent job of last season some other club would have come in for him, and just as we agreed to pay serious compo for sacking him, i wouldnt be at all surprised if we wrote in a fairly hefty buy out clause .........but that wouldnt interest The Sun, unless of course we were doing well and Everton or Southampton were interested. I can see the headline now.  CANARIES WANT SERIOUS NEST EGG TO LET ALEX FLY.
3. Dear Tim, a tackle is not judged on the severity of the injury to the receiving player, it is judged on its level of danger, risk of injury, whether or not it was high, reckless or unsporting. The reaction is an entirely unrelated issue.Glad to help.
4. Only just seen the highlights, Red card clear as day. Stupid, stupid stupid, on a par with Gary ONeills v W Brom ,i think. Shame, because he''s a handy player and settled quickly.
5. I saw that too JF but disregarded it because of the source. I hope it isnt him.
6. Can''t disagree Tumble, i was very impressed with his first year ish. Then my confidence in him dwindled and i wanted him gone, now it feels a bit like a loss, but we were all fooled, including AN , by that meteoric rise up the table to Wembley.
7. Agree with Darth, Woy and Wowett would be, i hope, a decent combo.
8.
Timing seems fair to me Lessingham. But of course these social media driven days folk expect instant decisions. At least we didn''t get back him sack him like Leicester did.
''''Back him, sack him, crack him.''''  ooo er Matron the wax is hot.
9. Here''s a Theory.Roy Hodgson was around for a bit earlier in the season, talks were held to see if he could help AN, who was clearly struggling. AN rejected the idea. It was agreed that if play offs were not reached(which they won''t) AN would be the one to go and Roy would come in..... maybe as DoF with a young fella in Managers job.
10.
We have no ambition and we are not bigger than Huddersfield.
At the moment, that is correct.
11. Gone till 2169 apparently, ''''someone'''' didnt like being called a name , and ''''someone''''( maybe someone else, with their own agenda) pressed report.Shame really, as he was pretty good at keeping stuff on the move here.
12.
We''d struggle away from home
I think i''d rather not have them lot anywhere near our fine City. Seriously black minded outfit,s they are. Real heavy duty. If any one has seen documentaries on them , they TRAIN for violence, not just name calling and chair throwing.
13. Tricky one, in the short term, changing the Manager would probably have the greatest immediate effect. I feel for him, but feel more for the Club, trying to be loyal but it just doesnt seem to be working.
14.
Could get a couple of teams up from here!!! ;-)
Wouldnt fancy the nice norfolk boys chances against what would be a paramilitary opposition, they are fit strong, dedicated ,organised and vicious. in the words of Boney M .....''oh....those Russians.''
15. Maybe VW but a faint hear never won the fair maiden. Had my wrists slapped more than once in this life, a cyber slap doesnt faze me.
16. I have asked Morto a direct question as to what happenned, on the ''other place''. Duno if he is able to be Frank in his reply.......loose talk costs lives, after all.
17. The Mighty Ducks...or Cool Runnings was it? Jamaican Bobsleigh Team.
18.

One thing that struck me on Saturday''s Channel 5 prog was yet another manager singing Alex Neil''s praises. Despite the embarrassing defeats we have had to witness all season there seems to be no shortage of those within the game, who supposedly have far better knowledge than the rest of us, ready to extoll his virtues and point out how lucky we are to have him, and how we should stick with him. I''m not defending him, just making an observation. Unlike many on here I don''t profess to know the answer, (if I did I would be making a fortune in the PL) but I am pretty sure that just changing the manager will not solve our problems. Something is obviously very wrong, and needs sorting, but I don''t think for one minute that there is a quick fix. I reckon we are in for a period of upheaval, whoever is in the dugout.
I can''t ever remember seeing a manager on a programme like that saying another manager should be sacked. It would be a bit like turkeys voting for Christmas.   I''m not saying AN should be sacked right now, just making an observation LOL.   It reminds me of after the relegation to L1, when we were thrashed by Chelmsford.  Of course, the quick fix option didn''t work then ... no, wait a minute...   Cue someone to say there''s no guarantee a new manager would be an improvement.  If so, can you give me a guaranteed solution to the club''s current plight ? That someone would be Morty but he''s not aroend, nor is the thread about his absence, Whas gorn on?
19. ''''Silly me. Appoint a manager certain to get us to the Premier League. Why didn''t I think of that? Morty for CEO.'''' Thats the spirit canarydan, fight fire with fire, or should that be fight self important facetious one liners with self important facetious one liners. Either way keep up the good work, its the only way to respond to the KIA.
20. Totally agree Hogo. If we forget defending the Clubs decisions re AN, then the obvious choice is for him to go. 2 mill is peanuts compared with continued failure . Of course, the new man, whoever he may be, might not succeed. Jerome sounded eloquent and direct yesterday. The writing is on the wall, some too blind to see it.
21. ''''You''re right corky, achieving 7th spot in the Championship, for a week or two, really is quite an achievement. ''''.......Morto Just as topping the Table, albeit briefly, followed by a steady decline is admirable too. For a seemingly mildly intelligent fellow , i would have thought that you''d have grasped this.
22. I''''''m willing to wager that if Rowett had a better win ratio than Alex Neil it would be both mentioned, and relevant....'''' ...Morto I''m sure even you realise that given the squads at their disposal it would be relevant, very relevant. As it is, he did pretty well with not much, wish i could say the same for Alex.
23. The ''''win rate'''' issue has to be taken in context Mort. Its really not that simple, and i hope that you realise this yourself. Rowett had little money to spend at a Club already in trouble, AN had a fair bit to spend at a Club in relatively good shape, despite relegation and, some would say one of the strongest (on paper perhaps, certainly not mentally) squads in the Division. Yesterday, as the fourth Sheffield goal went in, a Brum Chum of mine texted me this....... '''' Gary Rowett is available. worked miracles for us, lacks a bit of flair, but knows how to get the best out of what is available to him''''. This was the first i had heard from him since we played them (Brum). No, i am not saying he would be a success with us, i am merely disputing the legitimacy of the dismissive nature of your response. The Brum Chum concerned is very much a Football man that knows his stuff and has no agenda.
24. It weighs a bit more than light artillery.
25. One thing Warburton would have learnt to deal with at Brentford...and maybe more so at Rangers, is expectation. He should have developed a pretty thick skin by now and would also be pretty ruthless in his pursuit of success. As a job, we are somewhere between Brentford and Rangers, we could do worse. I would prefer Gary Monk. Mark McGee is also available, cough, no thanks.
