1. Pretty much priceless in our situation as it would stop the club potentially going bust in my humble opinion.
 2.
Some lad in my eldests class
Should have added, a Man U fan, though you''ve probably worked that out.
 3.
Unfortunately had to buy one Liverpool and the other a Man U kit for xmas. NCFC only make ''second'' team status currently but they are only young yet. Plenty of time to see sense....
Nah, too late, reckon you''ve lost ''em.Mine had no choice, they were taught just why Man U, Chelski and Liverpool are rubbish from an early age. I suppose you location makes it more difficult. Some lad in my eldests class was having a go at her saying Norwich were rubbish. When she told me I said, "Oh did he? Well you ask him how many times he''s been to see his team play at home. Then ask him what the score was last time they came to Carrow Road"I think she enjoyed educating him. [:D]
 4. Murdoch''s rags have always been scum, just like their owner. One of the main reasons I''ll never pay a penny to Sky. I hope we take them to the cleaners.
 5. Loan wouldn''t be a bad plan providing we had an immediate recall clause.Johnson may well have jumped ahead of him in Lambert''s thinking, but we''re not exactly flush with strikers.I''d have him ahead of Cureton and McVeigh personally. But then again, I''m not taking training Barry.
 6.
Just like to say after a long Hiatus from the forum how good it is to have a team to be proud of again and have a proper football man as manager.
Hedging your bets weren''t you?Had Lambert''s City been mid table or worse most of the season you''d have been here telling everyone it''s all Delia''s fault. So very predictable. And dull.Welcome to the party, glory hunter. Some of us have been here to witness the whole thing.
 7.
we were well overdue a bit of luck and we''ve definitely got it so stop sulking.
Funny how opinions differ depending on what side of the fence you sit on.As a neutral I always thought that once Le Tossier retired it was amazing you managed to survive relegation from the Prem for so long.I''d say you had more than your fair share of luck punching above your weight for so long.
 8.
we wont lose this season for sure.
You reckon? That''s more than a positive outlook, that''s like saying "I''m gonna win the lottery next weekend" [:)]I think we''re looking nailed on for promotion unless Hoolahan elopes with Holt or something similarly silly, but not lose another game this season? Any player can have a bad game....it''s just no ones told our lads that yet. [;)]
 9.
An awful player
So was Nelson according to most of the doom mongers on here a few weeks back. Then Askou gets injured. 5 wins and 4 clean sheets later, they start to look rather silly don''t they?Out of interest, how many matches have you attended this season in total and how many times have you seen Tudor-Jones play?
 10. Since Lambert took charge we really do seem to have got our team back. The football we''re playing this season is certainly the most attractive I can remember since Walker was in charge. We consitantly pass the ball and rarely resort to hopeful lumps upfield, even though to a more limited tactician such a method might yield some success with Holt as the target man. Now I know it''s D3, not D1 but it''s refreshing to have a manager who knows how the game is meant to be played.
 11. I wonder what he makes of his song? Not many players get anything other than the run of the mill songs adapted for them. Lappin''s is unique isn''t it?I can claim a bit of credit for that one, being one of only a handful who joined in for weeks till it finally caught on. It''s bloody hard work trying to get the Barclay to flex their lung muscles sometimes! ;)
 12. It''s all good though.Just like winning, losing is a habit - one that Leeds seem to be getting into just at the right time for us.
 13. Not on my train, a couple of Col Who fans walked through our carriage and when a city fan asked if he enjoyed his afternoon one mumbled something about "August" August was a long time ago fella! [:)]
 14. One of them (spotty little chavscum) was posting on his facebook shortly after the incident how Norwich are sh*t anyway and he''s an Arsenal fan. So f*** them.Good riddance to a pair of utter c*ckheads imo.
 15.
I listened to the game and it sounded like a fresh relief to have a decent ref for once, of Premiership standard!
Well I attended it and the ref was poor. Lost authority after the Lisbie incident having turned his back on a simmering conflict, later booked Holt for getting elbowed in the face.He was a c*ck.
 16. The stupid thing is, back in the pre-Southern Bypass days, when Carra Rud and Clarence Road were acually a section of the A47 they used to close it. There would be a line of artics waiting patiently who''d all blast their horns when the road opened again.Seen a number of potential flashpoints over the last couple of years caused by idiots in cars who seem to think its ok to use their vehicle to harrass pedestrians/block pavements.
 17. I live in that little hole with the metal cover next to the Barclay. It leads to a network of underground tunnels and a command centre from which I run my evil empire.Muwahahahah!
 18.

Attention seeker! Obvious really its a grudge match and a local derby!
To them, maybe.
Was going to say the same [Y]  certainly not a derby match to me
Agree. They''re nothing but scum wannabes. How sad is that?
 19.
I was however very concerned to see that not only were there large areas of standing water on the pitch but they also had the sprinklers on watering it. Seemed very strange. If it is saturated it will cut up very easily on saturday and not suit our passing style.
But it will suit Boothroyd''s hoofing game.I wouldn''t put it past Cowling instructing his ground staff to make sure the pitch is unplayable to make a late call off. He''s that much of a pr*ck.
 20.
1. What do you define as a big club? Somebody who is languishing in the 3rd tier of English football, a team that has massive debts? You may have a big stadium, you may have quite a few fans, but so would we if we were the only league club in our county, if you were really that big, you wouldn''t be where you are on and off the pitch at the moment.
We never said we were a big club. That''s just you and your inferiority complex.
2. Your welcome to Lambert. He got out when the going got tough at Wycombe and he scrambled across to when he realised you wanted him. I''m not going to lie to you, you are a bigger club than us if your working on pure fan base and stadium alone, and although your debts are big i''m not denying you can pay bigger wage sthan us, but we all saw how worried you lot got when there was even a sniff of him being offered the Burnley job, you knew aswell as us that if he was approached, he would have been off quicker than you can say incest. In the end he will leave, but it will be his downfall, because one day when he is in line to get that big job, people will look at him and think well he might leave us at any time, do we want to take the risk
Yeah, yeah, we know how much you don''t care about Lambert. How glad you are he''s gone, etc etc.(laughs)
 21.
You boo the Col U players from the start, you''ll stcik out like a sore thumb
You usually wait 10 minutes then?
I bloody hope we give a you good hiding, and even if we don''t, even if we lose 5-0, I will stand there a proud supporter of my club because we have all realised that getting rid of Lambert was one of the best things that happend to our club, Aidy has put the dignity back into Colchester United and with your big club mentality you''ll never have that.
We haven''t got a big club mentality, it just seems like it to you as a supporter of a small club with an inferiority complex. We lost Martin O''Neil to Leicester, did we throw our toys out? No, most of realised he''d made a fair call given the circumstances. Just as Lambert did given his.Tell me what was the gate for your home game after your glorious 7-1 victory over us? Less than 5000 wasn''t it? You''re not even in a position to blame Lambert, less still us.And you may well hope you''ll give us a good hiding, but I''d bet my left b*ll*ck you won''t. In fact your lot are going to have be very much on their toes to ensure they aren''t on the wrong side of one themselves. Just remember who the manager was that day.
Notrich Shitty
I see what you did there. Such razor sharp wit is so rare these days.
 22. The way I see it, by buying tickets in the home section, you are effectively signing up to the rules of "the game"Number one being don''t take the p*ss.If you do and get chucked out, I''ll laugh as loud as the Col Who fans - which will increase the effectiveness of my disguise further still. [;)]
 23.
Yep I read that too, think only him and Butterworth left so thats circa £50K each!! A lot less than I feared!!!
No no no no no.As all the usual looneys declared back when it happened, Gunn and Co were all cronies milking us for millions. You know it''s true. It''s the random invented internet history of NCFC.
 24.
It won''t hurt them at all, they have franchise sellers inside the ground.
So they''ll have good reason to question the trappy chairman''s judgement in turning this into a grudge match. If I was one of those vendors I''d be looking for compensation from the club for nuking the takings...
