  1. Richard Wright signed as cover for Man City. So, stranger things have happened.
  2. I personally think SSN are making it up. No other solid offers. Ajax and Twente were quick enough to let everybody know about our interest. If an other team has come in with a solid offer for either, why would they keep quiet about it?
  3. It would make sense to me that, if he is coming over to have a look at the place, Toby would be travelling to Norwich this evening.
  4. Fer and Alderweireld in Norwich with agents'' (and Dad, in Alderweireld''s case) having a look around the facilities, apparently. Not the most reliable source, if truth be told. Nonetheless, it fits and, if true, we know McNally can sell the club to them. Ambition! You wanted it and here it is.
  5. I believe almost none of that. If you actually READ it, it is all opinion and conjecture. Becchio wanted a move in January - as was his right. There was nothing personal about it. Chris Hughton probably mentioned that he wouldn''t sell Moro until he had a replacement. The rest on that is Colin filling in the blanks. And the whole thing is poorly written. Very bitter excuse making from one of the biggest t**ts in English football.
  6. Good. 3rd choice goalkeeper cover. Experienced and technically sound. Good bit of business.
  7. The person I have previously mentioned as a possible successor to Ruddy, in the still unlikely event that he leaves, is Stephane Ruffier. Incredibly talented keeper. Question is, could we tempt him away from St Etienne? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okdvHPpZ3wo
  8. You expect us to win every game? This ain''t League One or the Championship.
  9. Not strange at all. We need a forward like him, as I''ve been saying for a while. A beast! Missing piece of the puzzle. Good player too. Whether the report is accurate, only time will tell.
  10. I can''t find anything about this player at all. Anyone got any info on him?
  11. I don''t think Ruddy would believe that he''s incapable of dislodging Cech. Why would he? Just as good, if not potentially better. If he leaves, it''s not so much about money, it''s about profile in the run up to a World Cup. As someone said, at £10 Million he would be one of the most expensive goalkeepers in the world, at one of the biggest clubs in the world, playing under one of the best managers in the world. This counts when it comes to England selection. Don''t want him to go, of course. And he has a lot of reasons to stay, so I still think its unlikely, but it could. If he does goes, there are replacements out there. If we were willing to reinvest most of that in a new keeper, I would like to see us try to bring in Stephane Ruffier of St Etienne. Very talented keeper! Whether we could tempt him here is a mystery - not to mention irrelevant - at this point. Here are his best saves from this season: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okdvHPpZ3wo
  12. Fair enough, Bethnal. I have a great deal of respect for your opinion on these matters, so shall reserve judgement. Nonetheless, I have a feeling it will all end in tears... or, at least, precisely how I think it will - and I know I''m not alone in thinking it.
  13. He doesn''t know. Simple, really. I guess we''ll just have to wait and see.
  14. I get the impression that he is (or soon will be) checking out FCR and Colney, as well as the staff, set-up and area. He''s not familiar with Norwich and has to live here, after all. Takes time.
  15. I''ll be honest, not sure we''d be able to get Forster. He''d be more expensive than perhaps we care to appreciate and I think he''s happy there - gets to play Champions League football and has no trouble getting picked for England squad. Why move?
  16. Nani!? I know we all have a tendency to get weirdly obsessed with certain players... but bloody hell!
  17. I don''t think he did, Paul. As you say yourself: "If that''s true" and I don''t think it is - he doesn''t strike me as that stupid.
  18. True, Penguin. But, I''m not sure we were ever actually interested in him to begin with. Even if we were, is there any proof that our initial interest is still there? Anybody know anything certain regarding our interest in him?
  19. You may also add that RVW doesn''t see moving to Norwich as doing any harm to his international career.
  20. I''ll second that, Bethnal. You put it better than I did.
  21. If true, a great signing! Highly rated and well-thought of. Had considered earlier in the summer, but thought it unlikely. Came close to signing for Everton in January. It was a done deal, but they opted out for financial reasons. I heard that he was open to going there this summer and that Everton had the money to get this time. I reckon he''ll cost us around £6-8 Million. Just a prediction.
