  1. All good news so far. Whatever anybody says, the players deserve to go up as champions. I don’t think any NCFC fan deserves to suffer listening to Wilder if they were to pip us at the post.
  2. We have to be backing the team that finishes in 6th spot - they must be the weakest of the four.
  3. It looks terrific. Perhaps now we’re in the PL the club could put aside a contribution to maintain and build on it?
  4. How did we let Jed Steer go? He looks a quality keeper.
  5. Hanson dIdn’t read the script. At least it has stopped John Terry sulking. Bamford is a complete to$$er!
  6. A free for all....couldn’t be turning out better. And a red card now!
  7. With the ‘one player team’ Chelsea likely to lose Hazard in the Summer, Arsenal flattering to deceive, Spurs looking homesick and Man Utd self-imploding, it leaves just two teams to fear in the PL. All the others are much of a muchness. Everton, Leicester and Wolves are probably a cut above the rest, and the rest are just in an annual fight to avoid relegation. With enough belief, and an attitude that three points are better than one, the PL should be embraced and challenged head on. There will also, of course, be the introduction of VAR. Useful to counteract the bias refereeing in favour of the ‘bigger’ clubs.
  8. Undoubtedly Farke and Webber already have their summer transfer targets primed. Few supporters will want money thrown splashed out aka Fulham, and foreign unknowns may still be the club’s modus operandi. However, there have been a number of standout performers in the Championship this season, so, if the price was right, would you want Norwich to try and sign any of the following? Neal Maupay Che Adams Jarrod Bowen Will Vaulks Joe Lolley Bradley Dack Romaine Sawyers
  9. Exactly this. I do think the bench players could have been afforded more game time to avoid any rust setting in, but you can’t argue too much against no loss in twelve games.
  10. Exactly. The price we pay for entertaining, attacking football is that we will give chances to the opposition. We can’t expect Aarons and Lewis to provide so much in attack, and yet keep things watertight at the back. Dodgy decisions have cost us points these last few weeks and not a lack of effort and desire from the players.
  11. It’s still in our own hands with two games to go. Have to be happy with that.
  12. Will Stoke put in the same effort against ShefUtd last game of the season?
  13. Well done, kg! Good to see ‘definitely’ spelt correctly. Even the ‘beeb’ couldn’t get it right on ‘Line of Duty’ tonight......
  14. The past few months have welcomed a number of national newspaper articles extolling the exciting progress of NCFC. Playing an entertaining brand of football allied to a ‘never-say-die’ attitude, has catapulted Norwich City to a level of respect possibly last seen around the time of those great UEFA Cup nights. Full credit to Farke and his squad for elevating NCFC back to the consciousness of the footballing world. Here’s hoping this is only the beginning.....
  15. I don’t think many supporters will want City to spend big. Hasn’t worked before, no need to try again. There has been far more satisfaction gaining promotion ( more than likely) with lesser known players and youngsters, and there is no reason to believe this won’t continue.
  16. Good game. Lost a bit of shape and direction when Farke threw on the cavalry. Just one word sums up the last three games...... Buendia
  17. The facts are clear for all to see over the last two games:- 1) Farke’s starting lineup for both games have been a goal down at halftime. 2) Farke has had to make substitutions to secure a point. 3) A point each from the last two games has been a disappointing return. 4) Buendia and Pukki are the two players in the squad that are irreplaceable. It would be total madness to make the same mistake over and over again. So to start with the same lineup for a third time, at such a key point of the season, just to ‘show faith in a youngster’ or not to replace players ‘showing fatigue’, would be taking loyalty a step too far. It could be argued that Farke is putting far too much pressure on the likes of Vrancic, Leitner and Rhodes to come on with fifteen minutes to play and secure points. The team needs to get back to winning ways without finding themselves having to fight back from a goal down. Changes to the starting lineup required.
  18. I expected him to start with the same team today. The fact that we had such a big lead has softened the impact of dropping four points over those last two games. I would think 95%+ of supporters would expect changes for Friday. If Farke fails to make them it would reveal a stubborn streak that doesn’t necessarily sits well .
  19. Farke will have to break the habit of the season to bring Buendia straight back into the tram on Monday.
  20. Yet more proof that a fresh starting lineup required for Friday.
