This man speaks sense. If someone had said to you at the start of the season "Hi, I''m from the future. I agree we should be happy. Signing players does not guarantee you promotion. We''ll still have a damn good crack with what we have. Our current squad have beaten/drawn with most of the clubs that are "Up There" in the table. We can do it with what we have. Look at how much Middlesbrough spent in the summer, and look at where they are now....

That''d take the P*ss. First they want our Manager, then our transfer targets... Would rather they got Bennett than Lambert though :P

We got to second without having to buy anyone too major. (Excluding Barnett - but we already had him on loan). Why does our promotion chance all of a sudden hinge on buying players?! The board said they''ll back Lambert. Lambert said after the game on Saturday that he''s not too bothered if he doesn''t sign anyone else. (More or Less). Another 11 hours yet to go, lots can happen.

I don''t think he has to start. When he first came here on loan I''m sure I read something like his loan would be extended if he got a good run of games. Aside from that, he''s always looked class to me. People just looking for this weeks scapegoat IMO.
