1.
Thanks wiz mate, it''s just how I feel.
Really good to see you back on the forum WAY49, always enjoyed your posts
 2.
Its a clean slate with a new manager.  Surman has the challenge to get into the team and stay there.   We had glimpses of quite afew players last season who were very good in spells including Surman.    Hughton will have a more traditional approach and have a more settled team than the previous regime.  So Surman has the chance to be more of a regular than last season (if he finds the form).    At his best he is as good as anyone in the team.                      Ruddy Martin Ayala Bennett Tierney Bennett Howson Surman Pilkington    Vaughan   Morison (Holt)   Anybody??
What''s interesting about that line up is that it is a very young team in the main and yet now has solid premiership experience. I think we''re in for a very exciting season if we can keep hold of our young guns.
 3.
There is investment and there is investment.   What most of us posters see and want to see is a club run on good business lines.    A new investor that can put in a decent amount of money to push the club forward would be good.   But not a sugar daddy who will pump in millions of pounds and in the process destroy the soul of the club and encourage greed and false expectancy, massive wages and mercenary players/managers.     As usual it is the middle ground that we really need and as usual we''ve got everybody here thinking in black or white.  An investor would be good - but as has been said by the board - only one that will adhere to the traditions of the club.  Simples.
But LDC, a sugar daddy (Foulger) and sugar mummy (Delia) is what we have now, and they have been absolutely supurb with regards to putting money into the club. An investor would want to be taking money out of the club in the form of a return on investment. Which is the better alternative for the club? I suggest the way forward after Delia and MWJ have retired is sponsorship rather than investment, in the way that the owners of Man City are using that club to promote a global brand awareness. The club doesn''t then have to provide a monetary return on investment but still gets sizeable amounts of finance pumped in. Sure there would be a price to pay for fitting in with the global brand (eg. pre-season friendlies in the desert, for example) but much less threatening than an outright investor (viz.1p5wich...). Also there was a Man City supporter on here a while back posting about the good things the owners were doing within the Manchester community, a win-win situation, surely?   And Purple Canary please stop agreeing with me, I am trying to be your nemesis thank you very much.
 4. But there is a lot of truth in what Wiz has to say. We don''t want an investor because investors want to see a profit on their investment. We want a sugar daddy (and at the moment we have a sugar mummy) because their motivations are not to withdraw funds out of the club. Norwich, like most clubs, have a history of sugar daddies. Watling, Arthur South were not investors. Robert Chase? still not sure what motivated him. Michael Foulger - sugar daddy. And Wiz is a lovely old boy who brings a lot of colour and character to the message board. This would be a far less interesting place without Wiz and similar posters. I think there''s room for all sorts. If you get wound up by what Wiz says then just rememberit''s just Wiz beingWiz.
 5. I remember a post on here 3 months back saying Ruddy had signed a pre-contract agreement with Man U. No-one believed it back then, maybe there was some truth in it after all?
 6. Seems to me that every poster has either ignored or failed to notice that the board takes a very different view to the majority of posters who would not welcome a foreign investor involved with our club. Bowkett has said it regarding the Deloitte report: “We have approached 52 potential investors around the world - in Europe, Russia, the Middle East, the Far East, the United States and, of course, the UK. " From that statement it seems the board feels more comfortable about foreign billionaires than do the pinkun posters.
 7. " Jack Flash wrote the following post at 19/06/2012 5:02 PM: Re Role Model''s note that - The Venkys are a bad example. They thought they could run the club like we are doing here. re-investing money only generated by the club. They never chucked into the pot any extra.............  They are a very good example iin fact as they bought out Jack Walkers interests and acquired a Club from a long term fan, then ran the business very very badly, despite their apparent wealth. Now that''s to be avoided at all costs isn''t it?" Did the Venkey''s fail because they are wealthy? Or because they are foreign? Or could it be that they are just not very good at running a football club? I don''t understand this ''all wealthy foreign investors are bad'' mantra that seems to be universal on football forums. There are plenty of home-grown owners who are equally as bad, and probably a lot worse than foreign owners. I can accept that foreign owners may have to take time to learn about the football business culture in our country, but then didn''t our own owners have a very long learning-curve of their own? The upshot of which was that they came to the conclusion that there were people better equipped than themselves  to run a football club. Non-billionaire British owners can be equally damaging to the health of a football club as foreign billionaire owners. I don''t think their nationality or wealth is as significant as some people like to make out.
 8.
Don''t blame PL given how fickle fans are. Will be very hard to better 12th next season with 9m debt repayments.
So you think Lambert left Norwich because the fans are fickle? Ridiculous statement.
 9.
bet Judas wishes he had waited now!!!
wot he said!
 10.

How Old!? Must be like 50 odd..
Close. Looks like the birthday meal will be put on hold...
And what a slap-up meal you could have if forum moderating was as good in real life as it is on the computer game. One of the new features in "Forum Moderator 2012" is, like in Monopoly, when it''s the moderator''s birthday he collects £10 from each poster[^] Don''t forget all you budding forum Mods. Think how much fun you could have removing posts, exchanging PM''s about problem posters and being the spokesman and of course having the ability to impose both temporary and permanent bans. The game is available from all reputable gaming stores for just £24.99. Oh... and Happy Birthday Pete[
 11. What Lambert did for Norwich over the past three years... was purely incidental. He was doing it for himself.
 12.
Also when asked if he had spoken to M.O.N he saidsomething along the lines of ''''yeah Martin had nothing but praise for the club'''' F*ck off Paul thats why he walked out then. More lies it will certainly be worth reading P.L''s autobiography when it comes out im pretty sure it will sell a few copies lol [:@]
I''m sure his autobiography will be entirely self-seeking and not worth the paper it won''t be printed on.
 13. I expect that would be part of the discussions with Hughton - whether he wanted to bring his own team with him or not.
 14. Wow, kudos to David McNally for bringing in a first-class manager, probably the best of all the realistic candidates for the job. If anyone ever doubted Mr. M''s ambition for NCFC then this appointment must blow away any last remaining doubters. The future looks very exciting indeed.
 15. Think we should stop taking an interest in that Lambert bloke. He''s history as far as NCFC is concerned. And we''ve got an even better manager coming in who is going to drive us forward with years of future glory just around the corner. A couple of years and we''ll all be wondering what the fuss over that melancholic scottish prick was all about.
 16.

yes ill happily meet you for a pint, ill be in the Coach and Horses for the England game if you fancy it.
I will be there but as you don''t know me and i don''t know you how will we meet up ?
Assuming you were on about The Coach & Horses Thorpe Road as opposed to The Coach & Horses Union Street or The Coach & Horses Bethel Street i turned up with ''er indoors at 4.50pm in good time for kick off and stood against the bar in line with the entrance on Thorpe Road but at half time at 6pm i gave up staring at various guys coming in or drinking in little groups and came home to watch the second half. I must say i found it strange that you did not respond to my previous post last night or indeed this lunchtime as i noticed you were posting on other threads.
Christ sake Tilson are you for real? There''s two answers to why I didn''t meet you or reply to your posts. I''ll leave it to you to decide which you think is true. 1. I was scared to face you as Id heard so much about how your the big man and a legend and such an intimidating character, I just couldn''t face it, balls too small. 2. I didnt give the original comments a second thought and completely forgot about this post until 2.5 mins ago when I saw it again, plus I enjoy a varied and exciting life that doesn''t revolve around the pinkun messageboard.
FAIL!!
 17.
Fair enough, Mr Devine. To be honest I haven''t got a clue who our new manager should be. And you need to remember that at Birmingham he was picking up the pieces after the awful McLeish. No one in their right mind would want a job like that.
ha ha ha quality! You''re not David McNally, by chance?
 18. Agreed, however, I do think players should have left the football club before they''re considered for the Hall of Fame. Then their whole career and contribution to NCFC can be considered in a more considered manner.
 19. boo him? tell me his address and I''ll go and put his effing windows out.
 20. six months from now you''ll be all wondering what the fuss was about. keep a cool head   McNally is looking after the club''s interests while pig Lambert and donkey Holt are both looking out for number one.
 21. The club should never induct existing members into the Hall of Fame. It''s a stupid policy to do so as you never know how things turn out until the HOF''er has left the club. Ideally you''d wait until they''d retired from football.
