I think it's time that the football authorities stepped in and sorted out this mess. While other Clubs face fines or points deductions that grubby lot continue to increase their debts, where will it end? What other business operates like this and continues to survive?

Got to agree with Petriix,so many Teams have gone top only to then fall away. We've as good a chance as any to hold on to top spot and,while it's possible that we slip up at some time isn't it exciting to see us up there competing? Most were expecting mid table to play offs at best, we're far exceeding that atm. I guess it's just as exciting at the other end... but we'd have to ask our neighbors about that.

This. Our form suggests that we play as well, if not better against the better opposition. We've beaten 'Boro, Forest, and Villa, matched Derby, lost to Blades in the last minute and got beat by Leeds before we started our run, so nothing to fear. Of course they'll all be playing each other as well so it'll cancel itself out.

So many of these Managers on the money go round. Most have been bang average for years yet somehow always manage to find a gig at a Club. Of course none of those Clubs win anything and the supporters suffer year on year, you can list these Clubs who eventually end up relegated, broke or both.

Along with a few on here, I loved the promotion years and the turn around under his tenure. Unfortunately he left under a cloud and although a few wanted him back at various times I don't think they would want him back now. There was concern initially that PL would have the nous to turn it around, that appears to have been unfounded. If they're already down or on the brink when they come to CR he's going to get all sorts.

I would think that's unlikely, even they're not that bad.

True Frank, a flick through TWTD is all the proof you need. They seem uniquely delusional among football fans, nowhere else do you hear so much talk about their 'history 'and how it somehow makes them relevant. The very idea that because they had a purple patch 40 years ago the rest of football owes them some respect. For our part, we've been a yoyo Club over the last 50 years, most of our support understand who and what we are, down the road it's a very different story.
