1. Adeyemi has to start - he''s been our most promising midfielder in the two games so far this season. I thought he livened our side up when he came on against Colchester and it sounds like he played well at Yeovil. I''d say he''s earned a start.
 2. Should have got rid of him after his injury then, rather than paying 8 months of wages or whatever for no return
 3. what about the ex-spurs lads we were giving trials to? The striker sounded useful
 4. our flanks aren''t very strong atm - at least 1 new winger is required
 5. wasnt it under worthy with earnshaw upfront. It really didnt work with the squad we had back then
 6. my mate used to play with robbie simpson at cambridge when they were both at college (kinda like a scholarship thing). i think he was in the coventry side that beat man utd in one of the cups last season

You are not introducing anything here that has not been said already other than you saying (and not very subtly either) ''look at me''. As for our debt - its not the amount that it stands at that worries me - its the fact that it hasn''t got any better since then. We were rumoured to have been in around £18mil-£20mil in debt when Chase left. So the argument would be why hasn''t that sum become smaller over the years especially with the success of the promotion and play off final season and five years of incredibly good gates?
Hear Hear.
Chicken i think you will find people have the right to say what they want!!! if you dont like the ignore them!!! easy!
I have never said that people do not have the right to freedom of speech (or type). The original poster has dug up several old posts for seemingly no reason when there have already been the oppertunity to discuss or indeed ongoing discussions on other threads in regards to these issues. I am not stating that they do not have a point just that digging up old posts to try and prove something is rather futile. Somewhere in the past every single possible outcome has been stated in opinion somewhere. We know several people on here who claim to have been against the board etc for a very long time - fair play to them and if you want to state that then fine but why did up a thread from 2003?
I agree its pointless, but we are have the right to ignore.... plus if you didnt hightlight we would be having this correspondence on a sunday afternoon!
Sorry Canary...what the hell is "hightlight"??!!
oh come on, can you not figure that out for yourself? the grammatical pedantry on this board seems to be a more common response than reasoned argument.
Yes Bleach I can figure it out...obviously you suffer from a sense of humour bypass.  Can''t appreciate a little lightheartedness?  Canary obviously can.  Incidently do you know what pedantry means...an ostentatious and inappropriate display of learning.  What the hell has that to do with a lighthearted dig at a typing error?[:P]
Pedantry is the art of being pedantic which has quite a lot to do with picking up on people who mistype. I apologise - in hindsight, I guess my sense of humour didn''t pick up on the witty use of sarcasm in your quip. I''d better get that sorted quick - wouldn''t want to be missing out on any hilarious sarcasm! In all seriousness, I''m just tired of people using other people''s spelling mistakes as a string in their bow when it comes to discussions. Granted yours may have been tongue in cheek, but it generally riles me.

 9. Just noticed that Clingan doesn''t seem to be in the N Ireland lineup or on the bench this evening for their friendly against Italy - anyone know why?
 10.

We should be there or thereabouts or the fans will turn against the board & BG.
Why should we? There are better teams than us in the league who don''t have to assemble almost an entire squad from scratch with very little money. We''ll be lucky to be midtable.
I agree with this post. Just because we''ve dropped down a league doesn''t automatically make us one of the better teams. All we have going for us next season is the brand - hopefully that will attract some of the more experienced, quality players - but the skeleton of a team that we have now is not good enough to be challenging for the top spots in my opinion. Im pretty sure most of our rivals next season will already have a stronger squad than we do right now. Adding on top of that the fact that we need another 7-11 players to come in and ''gel'', then I think its sensible not to get one''s hopes up. Until we have an identifiable squad in place for at least one whole season, we won''t be going anywhere unless gunny turns out to be a good manager (ha!)
 11.
Either that or driving the team coach.
After witnessing his aiming skills for the last few seasons, I wouldn''t fancy him being able to manipulate a bus very well
 12.
Just copy my thread then [:@]
no-one cares
 13.
Why does everyone think things will happen straight away??
Well, barely a day had passed after we got relegated at Charlton before Delia et al started coming out with claims that big changes were going to be made at the club. To everyone''s surprise, two heads were soon rolling out of Carrow Road leading to a faint hope on the part of the fans that things would finally be a bit different - that the club''s management would be a bit different. Maybe this really was what the fans had been crying out for? But then Gunn was appointed. This was taking one step backwards in the eyes of many fans as it is a typical and hugely predictable decision on behalf of the board. Nice and cheap - who cares if it is an appointment that lacks ambition? The truth is the fans wanted a manager with whom we would feel comfortable with. Polls have shown that we didn''t get a manager who we are comfortable with. And the sad truth is that we knew that would happen. The fans feel let down. Another typical feature of NCFC over recent years has been us being too slow in the trasnfer market, or not getting our man - just generally being uncompetitive. The fans are fearful that this NCFC trend will also continue. The fans want us to be competing in the transfer market this summer - and rightly so. I''m not saying that early signings are the only way we can get a decent squad together, but these pleas for early signings are indicative of how desperate we are to see our club do something a little different and entirely less predictable.
 14. no-one''s mentioned worthington yet. surely he can take a fair slice of the blame seeing as he failed to get us anywhere near the playoffs after relegation. he made some truly awful signings for a club widely expected have a good go at bouncing back.
 15. I''ve seen hoolahan play. he''s not a premiership player and probably won''t ever be. his only asset is his dribbling - and if you''re always getting tackled and giving away possession in the championship, you can bet he''ll do worse in the premiership. He was overrated by glenn roeder and remarkably is still living off roeder''s hype in my eyes. even mr ''my opinion is always right'' roeder felt he needed dropping because of the liability he brought to the team. he came in to replace huckerby but left me feeling totally underwhelmed. burnley have shown good sense the last 2 seasons: getting hoolahan in for a premiership season just wouldn''t fit with that.
 16. there a several similarities between norwich and newcastle both have ''fans'' as owners both have made a string of bad management decisions (whether appointing the wrong man or getting rid too soon (referring to big sam)) both appointed ''legends'' as managers both got relegated without a fight on the last day

 18. Also, isn''t it the case that a Plc can offer it''s shares for sale? I thought only limited companies couldn''t offer.
 19. Might they have set the price of the shares depending on how many shares they''ve made available? If the club made too many shares available, this would dilute the major shareholder''s shareholdings. If one person came in and bought all of those shares, they''d have a significant standing in the club at shareholder level. It might therefore have been decided that 33,000 shares was as many as the existing shareholders could afford to make available without risking their own level of control in the club. Obviously if each of these shares was only £1, this wouldn''t be enough to help us out very much, so they probably bumped the price up to get the value of those shares (in total) closer to £1million. As for the minimum purchase of 4 shares at a go, it might just be a ploy to make the shares available only to the more serious investors i have no idea if this is anywhere near the truth, just my own thoughts
 20. Most fans will choose to show their positive support for the team by turning up, home or away, in great numbers and cheering on the team. No-one on here wants to see us perform badly. Moaning about the board and their decisions doesn''t make anyone a worse fan - it makes them concerned. Our team has been following a trend of lower and lower league finishes for a while now, and most people who visit this board believe that insufficient action has been taken to stop the rot. With no football being played right now, all eyes turn to the people who run the club to sort things out. Gunn will get his chance to sort things out in the transfer market and during next season. We''ll all get behind the team then, when the football is being played. But right now it''s the board''s time to shine. And they really need to.
 21. peter grant = a risk that failed glenn roeder = a risk that failed bryan gunn = a risk... see where this is going? the fans are obviously screaming for someone with a proven track record!!
 22. well one thing the now fragmented board have been repeating to us over and over is that prolific fan support doesn''t = success. maybe if less fans turned up to our games, we''d start playing better! pah
 23.
we need paul ince like a hole up the arse  because thats what he is
ahem, we all need holes up our arses - would be very uncomfortable otherwise   could just call paul ince an a***hole
 24. ''a drip-feed of information over the next few weeks'' is what anglia tv have just relayed   at least they''re putting a bit of effort in
 25. http://www.clubfanzine.com/ipswich_town/v2.showNews.php?id=19529   these pictures should be produced at the board meeting... might put a message across
