If we had a back 5 of :Rudd- GKSpillane- RBStefanovic-CBShackell (loan or perm) CBDrury LB next year I''d be happy. If we dont get Shax then I''d happily have Doherty instead.
Drury will play 2 or 3 games and miss 10 we should unload his high wages he is on a 4 year contract we need pace at the back not an injury prone liability -
I Love Delia

New manager by JanuaryI dont doubt i''m absolutely sick of it all -
If the man cared as much about the club as he says he does he would be stepping down after failling so badly , instead he is talking about wanting the job more than ever which to me says he cares about team Gunn more than he does Norwich City .Power and publicity went straight to his head after the Barnsley win and hes got a liking for it now , 5 losses in the last 6 Mr Gunn if your name was Roeder you would be getting ripped apart by all Norwich supporters right here right now .
As I have said on here before Roeder would have kept us up got rid too soon Gunn is out of his depth obviously didnt look at Charlton videos Shackell at left back what a pratt!

This board has made some appointments of devastating horror and there is nothing us fans can do but abandon the club, i for one and thousands of others have Norwich City in their blood and not about to give it all away for the sake of a bunch of financially inept decision makers and egotistical morons. Bryan Gunn has done his best and no doubt sacrificed a lot personally but he is not up to it. I am going to make myself unpopular here but we should have kept with Roeder and sacked him whatever happened, cos i am convinced we would be safe now. Come on City dont break my heart anymore win on Sunday and see what unfolds elsewhere.
-
why would anyone want to keep Croft, drury or Russell not good enough even in league 1, sums up a lot of fans Croft Player of the season when all he can do is run, cant cross a ball for toffees, but then again cos he scored against Ipswich, how sad, bring back Hucks Gunn has to go along with Doomcaster and the smiths.
-
Can somebody please tell me if they think we are better off now than we were under Glenn Roeder i firmly believe he would have kept us up so what if he alienated a few sad supporters who dont like the truth, we should have given him til the end of the season if we stayed up sack him anyway what would we have lost. Instead our illustrious board appoint an icon out of his depth just to favour populaity for themselves, wake up England we are a joke and only a massive clearout from top to bottom will save this club from extinction come on Coventry!!!
and Jamie-lad and Matty-Patty. oh, and ''Chrissy'' Martin and ''Mickey'' Spillane. But please not adam drury.
I know he''s had his injury''s but your right just not good enough now and yhe highest paid player at the club at a guess
-
Pattison? you been on the juice or what, no Russell for me too slow and a liability at this stage

Bryan Gunn - selection & late subs disaster
pliff replied to YellowRoad's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
why play drury when he cant have been match fit bertrand has been playing well at left back no time to experiment when youre where we are can we find BG a job elsewhere forget the family club crap and get us a manager who can get results should have kept Roeder would have done better under pressure -
we are going down and will still have those muppets of a board with us but hopefully with a new manager who can give the subs more than 15 minutes when things need chaning earlier.
-
I''m guessing it will be ------------------Marshall------------ Semmy-----Doherty--------Shackell------Bertrand Croft----------Clingan------Pattison----Carney ----------Gow---------Mooney---- Subs - Nelson, Lee, Cody, Drury plus another??
Do me a favour how can Pattison be matchfit to run for 90 minutes and Drury on the bench it gets worse
-

What about Ttrevor Putney, Keith Bertschin,Eric Gates, all good ex ITFC players
Correct except Gates never played for the pride of Anglia! I''ve no problems with siging Lee cause he can be a handful at this level and we do need a capable targetman cause Cort isn''t up to it!
I stand corrected it was Clive Woods

TEENAGE KICKS: Hoolahan Out.......Alan Lee In?
pliff replied to hogesar's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
i reckon gow will fill ruski''s spot, carney on the left, lee and mooney upfront. that doesn''t sound too bad.
Sounds good to me too if it means keeping Fotheringham and Pattison out of the team -
A serious call to arms- Doncaster Out
pliff replied to The Voice of the Thorpe Area's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City

Naive Optimism and a new potential outcome
pliff replied to Romantic's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Unfortunately I think it is one or the other - relegation and a devaluation of our club might make the board''s position untenable but survival will mean we continue to wait until someone decides the time is right to invest in our club and forces a change. I think Keith Harris is still looking on our behalf (not sure what Orvil is doing to help.)
I wonder how much we have paid Mr Harris for failing? -
Every one of them deserves a pat on the back including my humble self but it doesnt mean support for the board i still want them out however they may feel a bit moe comfortable at this moment in time
