1. Thanks for the memories of the past 10 years Craig, not least your partnership with Malky, and the regular press jibes about your immense scoring ratio! A model professional on and off the pitch, who always seemed to enjoy and appreciate the lifestyle afforded. All the best for you and your family at Rotherham and whatever you do after that. Dave.
2. This can only be positive news. If there is a bond between messrs. grant and Earnshaw, surly when a big money bid comes for the latter he might think twice about accepting the offer if he has a close friendship with his present manager.
3. Raymond De Waard is one of the worst i can remember. It does seem that some people in this thread are confusing ''poor'' with ''unlucky''Someone said Alex Notman - woudl you like to justify that?? The Cross at the millenium alone should devoid him of being on a worst player list.I wonder who will suggest Gaetano Giallanza or however the bloke spelt his name... he could have been good for us        Andy Hughes isn''t as bad as some people here make out. yes he''s poor - but he''s not Dear Raymond
4. Well i own you all as i created Peter Thorne.
5. Let another lot of hot air. This board has a lot of firestarters, who then run off and expect others to do their duties. Then in a few days time if the AGM passes relativly peacfully as it will,  these same firestarters will come on here and ask why people wern''t saying anything? There is a simple reason. The level of animosity they try and stir up is not felt by the majority to a strong enough degree to effect a protest. If you feel it - you say it. But i know you won''t.This happens continually on here - remember all the people DEMANDING worthy out and saying e veryone else thought it? yet 150 outside the ground. Remember the ''boycott the last game'' plan - yeh cause that workedBoycott the wolves game? again people wont. they''ve paid their money so they''ll still goAt the end of the day this only makes one group of people look stupid - those firestarters who are all mouth and no do
6. and 9. get out of cuckoo land1. - I doubt it... would be talking Millions - probably eight figures (10m +)2. - A good board compromises between buisness men and footballing people. To put all fans in charge of a football club would have disasterous consequences3. - O.K but who are you bringining in?4. - You need to find someone to buy them first. It isn''t championship manager, they won''t just ''go''. And before you suggest paying up the contracts, how are the supporters finding the money to do this5. - Oh right. People who have done well at local clubs. There is a world of difference between Wroxham and Norwich, not least the massaging of egos and media relations. Also, some players will come to work with a manager they have worked with before or has a good reputation. A ''nobody'' wouldn''t be able to command players on this basis6. - And this will cost how much? Haven''t we put millions into the academy so far with little result? The problem with the one hour catchment area is that half of ours is in the North sea. this doesn''t help at all. Also what happens if this youth team is successful, then becomes complacent, ala West Ham with Ferdinand/Reo Cocker etc? start again? or do you have another idea?7. Oh this is the idea. Won''t work. No player worth his salt will accept that sort of contract, if he can get a solid wage elsewhere. It would only work if it was done at every club in the country. Perhaps we could ambush and take over the FA?8. By the time you''ve tried and achieved all this, we will have no club. So it isn''t really necessarySorry but thats the truth really
7. for someone with one post i won''t believe you till they come
8. It''s a nice idea guys but it wont work. to work you have to get 15000+ to do it. That will not happen. If you want to do something what about doing what i have heard people doing on the contient and leaving messages under the windscreen wipers of players cars such as ''do u think you earned your salary today''?Its like the AGM... big loud statments from the same old few, who in reality just conform and turn up like everyone else. Espeically Re: the agm, dont ask others to do it. If you''ve got a point go and make it yourself
9. He''s never played before for us. it''s far better to bring him on at 2-0 up then at 3-1 down when things will be expected of him. It''s the same as Lewis, throwing them straight in at the deep end runs the risk of runing a career. at this stage it isn''t worth it
10. i was under the impression that this deal also covers ''brand beckham'' in relation to the LA Galaxy. This would mean that Beckham would not get a cut of any merchandise which he is shown on etc
11. because malky has personality charisma and can motivate. We don''t have anyone except dion like this
12. i''d hope for their sake they got drawn away at Old Trafford or something. great for the players, and a nice little earner
13.
I notice some one on here got Gardner, i tried to get him too but spurs want 2''5 million! not likely!
Spurs transfer Listed Him for some reason at 1.6, i negociated 1. 2 plus clauses
14. My first season i won the title! The only changes i made to the squad were Sutton (Free) Mackay (45k) Anthony Gardner (Spurs, 900k i think)Also had a young LB from Mancity on loan most of season but played Few gamesFirst 11                LewisColin - Gardner - Shackell - Drury               Safri         Etuhu RobinsonCroft                           Huckerby             Earnie
15. would be nice if the DJ got rid of his metal obsession thoughhow about ''classic'' footballing tunes such as boys back in town (thin lizzy) dont stop me now (Queen) carnival de paris, ready to go (republica) stuff that is well known, and few people dislike
16. There was a gentleman i saw at one time who looked a bit like Curbishley. But it''s unlikley as he''s allegedly in Australia until the middle of this month
17. Sky won''t give you a decent reply. I complained following our game against chelsea in the premier year after i thought their commentators were in favour of chelsea, citing five diffrent times (with the time on the screen) that there were comments that were very much pro-chelsea beating little norwich. All i got was a ''our commentators are well known for their neutrality. dont forget to buy prem plus for the man utd game''.Ofcom were rather more receptive:)
18. ramrod, will you therefore not be asking for tickets upon this club going through better times? if theres one thing i can''t stick, it''s fine weather supporters like yourself.
19. or unlike leeds, we understand what the term ''supporter'' means not ''fine-weather supporter'' Yes i am not a fan of Worthless, but my love for the club is stronger than my hatred of him
20.
Com on you lot for Gods sake, its only a blip. Plymouth have had the rub of the green.
Yes you''re quite rightSouthend was a blipCrystal Palace was a blip
