1.

Neil Adams is hopelessly out of his depth.. Sorry guys.. not the answer!
Games against the big sides and our bogey team are not the games that have relegated us
Your spot on So a good manager means he uses another managers players with no talent up front and goes to Manchester united and wins? NA has been given an impossible job and he is handling it well some players have not bothered today. SW LF and RVW All not at the races Not over yet but other games where it was lost
 2.
Obviously that one goal does not relegate us. But the backing off was awful, and will be one of many reasons we go down if we do.
We will go down because we have no goal threat.
 3.
I have the same hunch. RVW has to come good sometime - and tonight would be perfect. I notice he''s been talking about scoring last time he played in Manchester (for Sporting vs Man City) - which indicates he''s focussing on success...
You would think a ball would bounce in off him into the goal by now. Due some luck His body language is quite bad so I hold onto the hope he is very much a confidence player and a goal will transform him into at least half the player on those youtube vids.
 4. Howson was not good. RVW however looks diabolical. I hope that he comes good as he has been so bad we cannot get rid either.
 5. It would clearly be the fault of the board as it always is in any organisation at the end of the day. Before the end of January it was apparent that the fans where not all happy. Our rate of points accumulation was around trend for survival. Entertainment aside the pragmatic collection of points is the most important indicator and lets not forget the effective home form and results against our peers. The time for change and risk taking investment would have been January so a new guy could have got a couple of players in. In addition to changing the manager we have/had gaping holes in attacking midfield and pace upfront. So we decided to take the risk of sticking with CH which is fair enough and the risk of not spending the cash. I understand the second as a new manager was just as high a risk, the second not so much. So at the end of the day its their business and if i was in their shoes I would have done the same but probably risked a few of million on a big fast striker, which would have been an easier ask than the number 10 which tbf they did try and get in but failed. Kei Kamara was not a world beater but what a good guy to give the place a lift and he did have a couple of effective moments in the run in.
 6.
In a nutshell, frankly there is absolutely no point in both Hughton and RvW (or Hooper) both being at this club at the same time.Hughton does not suit RvW''s style and v.v. One of them has to leave Carrow Rd in the summer. And no prizes for guessing which one I would prefer to do one......
I would have assumed a defensive team would have at least one fast forward player. I dont think CH chose RVW I cannot imagine a scenario where one day he wants Bony Strong fast and then decides that he actually wants a poacher. If you have a system surely you have a type to fit that system?
 7.

Hard to be too harsh to RVW and Hooper has also been poor but i think Hooper offers us more overall in that lone role than RVW ever will, simply by being a bit quicker and stronger. RVW is not a lone striker. Not in the Prem. But, we''re also not good enough to play 2 up front for the majority of games. Which makes, in my opinion, our best option including RVW to be Hoolahan playing just behind him. Or Howson. Someone who can thread balls through. The problem I have is his confidence is shot to bits and rather than leave him out, get him training hard and taking the pressure off a bit, Hughton seems to have literally no idea how to man-manage him so plays him regardless. Which unfortunately I think is to both RVW and the teams detriment. Think Hooper will start next week.
His confidence must be low but I''d dearly love to know exactly what theyve been doing on the training pitch with him during the season during the week between games? presumably they must surely work on team shape and how they are setting up the team around RVW to create chances for him?......which inturn he must presumably be scoring and looking confident in doing so during the week in training?........at least that''s what I hope is happening?
Thats a very good point. Surely a manager cannot pick out of form players when he has others to choose from in our precarious state. Does anyone see the training? Does he bang them in?
 8.
it got to the stage today where the co commentator on the stream was openly ridiculing him [:(]
Yep despite the good will outside of Norwich he is considered one of the disasters of the season. I cannot comprehend how bad he is thus far.
 9. I can understand the lack of goals as we are pants going forward. I don''t understand the physical weakness poor control/ball striking and hand flapping/boy language. You would think a decent striker would be able to work a shot or something like Hooper has done from time to time. I can see than in a better team Hooper would score he has a hard strike and has a couple of goals that show he can finish, is he top draw? nope as not fast enough but he has the raw materials there with decent strength and good ball retention/ pass completion etc. We are side that most of the time will be up against it so we need players who have mental strength. At no stage has he looked like a dead eyed assassin to be honest if he gets a chance I feel less confident in him than other players. So a) he is either a complete dud or b) Cannot mentally cope with the situation he is in. I go for b and from his flapping and body language take it hat he does not want to be here any more. He is so bad at the he must have appearances set in his contract as I would have any of the other strikers on the clubs books starting ahead of him at the moment. I really admire the goodwill shown to him by fans but he offers so little its so sad really our record signing and poster boy. I just hope we are in the premier league to enable him to have a second crack.
 10.
There is certainly something in this....... Being an expat plastic myself based in a particularly multi cultural city, then I can clearly see that Manure are by a considerable distance the most followed EPL side and many of their fans abroad are now second and third generation distance supporters, they are a huge draw when compared to any other top EPL side, even in Abu Dhabi who own Citeh of course. Manure are one of the three best supported European club sides globally along with Barcelona and Real Madrid and then following behind of course are the great Norwich City.........not..........it really pains me when I am asked who I support by a Middle East or Asian colleague, and I tell them and they say "who?"....and then where abouts is that...near London?
I am finding on my travels that foreigners are very fickle and there is a lot of love for Chelsea etc basically who has the stars. They also tend to follow players more than clubs in many cases. For me it''s not Manchester United that''s the issue the issue is the best superstars playing for real barca, paris and Munich In a world x1 who is plating in the prem? I don''t care anyhow we are beggars at the feast and I would prefer a poorer fairer league
 11.
Was today a "West Brom" performance?
There was no choice today the team had to go for it. When they do they are good as they where the end of last season.
 12.

Just curious. I don''t, by the way.
If we survive this season, then I''d say he''d be guaranteed to be offered a job elsewhere. Most people would consider keeping a team in our current period of development two seasons in a row an achievement. If he doesn''t keep us up, that will be damaging, but having said that after the investment at QPR and Mark Hughes'' following train crash I never dreamt in a million years that he''d ever get another Premier League job and then he turned up at Stoke. Given that we''re still a team that even just looking at value on paper you''d have to consider vulnerable, I''m not sure a neutral would dismiss him.
This Don''t underestimate how valuable keeping a team in the premier league is to some teams. Also don''t overestimate the regard we are held by those outside Norfolk, we are considered minnows and cannon fodder even the name Norwich conjures up a easy 3 points in their eyes. Ergo someone who can keep us up must be good surely?
 13.
And after watching MOTD I feel Pardew overreacted massively to what was nothing more than a player eager to get to a throw in. I reckon the FA are going to spit their dummy over this one. Sackable? Probably not but certainly warrants a 5 match touchline ban on top of the £100, 000 fine Newcastle have imposed.
Not excusing APs behavious but.. If you where standing and I walked up to you and shoved you that might be considered assault. I would also expect to be involved in some form of altercation after that. Should Pardew have rolled around would the player been in some form of trouble then? Its just not good all round Pardew should know better but also I dont like to see players pushing managers, staff, fans or ball boys etc etc. It just shows a lack of respect.
 14.
One word. Tettey.
+1 Its not just the pace to be able to screen the defence or the fact he hardly gives the ball away. Its the work he puts in to be available for the ball from others.
 15.
It''s got to be Sutton for me. Has scored more Premier League goals for us than anybody else in our history and it''s Premier League goals we need right now!
+1 Playing the same formation and way we are I would say Chris Sutton or Dean Ashton. Got to be strong and leathal infront of goal. I would also say Efan Ekoku for a wildcard, not our greatest player but very fast and a good hight. We play to catch teams out so why we don''t have a player of this ilk is beyond me. The theory currently I speculate is to defend all game and have such a good finisher upfront we take that one or two chances when they come...(which is nt working out currently) I would have signed one of RVW and Hooper and used the 5+ million to sign a large poor mans Lukaku/Benteke type player.
 16.
He is Aaron Wilbraham mark II
To be honest I think thats a bit of a insult to poor old AW he was probably on less than a third of the money and caused problems when he came on a few times. I think Elmander is terrible whats the point of being big when your powder puff. At this moment we are going down as we cannot score I would go as far as saying our forwards have forgotten how to score it was so long ago.
 17. I don''t think he needs or will go in the summer should we stay up logically would he not be safer than around January? He would have kept Norwich up for two seasons, priority number 1 is Premier League survival entertainment/position/goals/happy fans thats very much secondary. He is a professional manager who is highly(ish) rated outside of Norwich. The team is now his team and he will have the summer to resolve the issues ergo entertainment/goals. I just do not see it happening I would not sack him if he kept us up as managers who can keep teams up on a budget are not easy to replace. You also have the issue of a complete overhaul of the squad and staff which may cause a multitude of issues. The fans come good or bad who cares if you loose a few thousand when there is a waiting list? Attendance does not pay the bills either in comparison to TV money. So for me down and he is gone If we stay up he stays and addresses the issues which have become to apparent this season.
 18. This is the beauty of football. We have a punchers chance and we don''t have any power in our punches. I salute your optimism and I hope your right. When you have a 98% chance of being beaten why not go for it maybe that will be the shock for man city.
 19.
Its about time we scored more than one goal, so if we lost by the odd goal and made a good game of it, I might even be proud of our team. If we fall apart and concede some easy goals, it won''t be acceptable. We have to put up a fight and start finding the back of the net. We just don''t seem to have the bottle, fight and tactical awareness to compete against the top clubs, which is the managers, coaches and players fault collectively. Is Hughton getting the best out of his players? Are they being instructed to play the way they have been? Are they being played out of position? Is it the wrong formation and the wrong selections? Can Hughton motivate these players? I''m not 100% sure what the answer is to those questions, but what I do know is that the players have little confidence and most are underperforming. We have very little creativity in the side and not much pace apart from Redmond. We''ve missed Howson and Tettey but I''m sure there have been games when Hoolahan could have played a part when he hasn''t been considered. If we get anything from the Man City game I''ll be very surprised. I hope it is not as uncomfortable as I am expecting.
This, I don''t expect anything from the game but to get some goals with do the world of good for the following games. We can get thrashed playing to win and also playing to contain so may as well go for the win.
 20.
I agree not top drawer but definitely good enough.
was referring to hooper RVW has been a total failure
 21. I agree not top drawer but definitely good enough.
 22. To be honest I have given him time and although i can forgive form and confidence etc he looked like he did not care today and it was a shame he came on as he offered nothing. He is just waiting for relegation and the cut price sell on. If we are not going to play Wh then I would prefer fer or redmond in the am/10 position ongoing
 23. We have done ok we are 4 points better than our rivals. But have our rivals added the players which will bridge that gap? I guess today will answer one part of this question. There seemed to be a massive number 10 sized hole in the squad either for a creative deep forward, fast dribbling forward etc We have not filled that hole so I am not comforted I am not saying we will go down as we only need a burst of a few wins but I am not as reassured as i would have been. Hopefully JG and the players coming back make the required difference.
 24.
in my opinion this might be the case just think if you were a player would you join a club run by hughton and his two merry men ? I think is why these players are going elsewhere hughton used to have a pull on players a lot wanted to come play for him I don''t think that is the case now if you are outside looking in ? if you were a forward you know you will not score many coming here you look how RVW and hooper have struggled hopper not as much but not getting a lot of chances , it would stall your career if you were a AM / No 10 would you come here not allowed to run the game higher up the pitch the manager telling you to defend more pass sideways not forward ? Hughton is still a vwery very Nice man and you wont hear a bad word about him outside carrow road BUT I think players are now looking and seeing his tactics style of play are not suited and will not benefit them moving here !
Outsiders are not as negative as us as they don''t watch the games ;-p Could I work in a lovely city like Norwich ... Yes Could i endure the professional facilities.... Yes Could i work for CH ... Yes he does not seem a nasty guy in fact he seems highly professional and emotionally intelligent. Would I play football in a full stadium for £30,000 a week + in the best league in the world .... of course why not I guess it comes down to faith in your own ability, many folks on this forum will have jobs where they have to go in and clean up other peoples mess. If you get the right money and its a level up or its a chance for you to be the main man you take it. If i was a good number 10 I would look at this team and say yes they are not doing well but they are not doing badly I will go in there and sort them out as I have faith in my ability to be what they need. Its a pivotal position you knit everything together so a very good acquisition in this role can make a disjointed team like ours seem so much better.
 25.
On the last point, maybe McNally is starving hoot''s of funds hoping this makes him walk without having to pay the last year on his contract. But it''s bloody sods law that the Messiah was on a 1 year rolling yet this "bell" was put on a 3 year. TYPICAL
Would that not be illogical since CH failing would also mean us going down. You talking about 2 million cost of sacking the guy compared to tens of millions of lost revenue. CH is doing a boring but effective job by picking up points against those teams around us. By not sacking him they have backed him. Our
