  1. In competitive matches Drmic has scored 3 goals in less than 900 minutes on the pitch. Not great but better than RVBs 2 goals in nearly twice as many minutes. He looks more of a physical presence, he has scored tap ins, remember RVWs last minute miss against Man City.
  2. Often we hear that players need settling in time. Did he really get any? He did score 2 tap-ins in Cup matches. How many of our other strikers have poached goals recently? Who knows what he has got to offer but if we are paying such wages to a player in peak career in terms of age we should give him a fair chance to earn his place.
  3. Right on all counts TvB. Poorly timed, an intervention last month may have been helpful, not now. The comment about youngsters watching live football as an escape from gang culture comes from another planet. Equally why not comment about the potential financial structure review of football?
  4. Agreed. Not the most helpful supporting comments. On the general principle good to see her make the point though. There should be a plan to facilitate 1,000 to 5,000 fans in the stadium albeit that it may need to be dependent on case rates being lower than at present.
  5. What is the point of playing Vrancic for 90 minutes and not putting him on dead ball duty?
  6. Precisely. That is why Mario is so much better than the rest of our huff and puff midfielders.
  7. The best spatial awareness player to play for the Club leaving aside Martin Peters. Goal ratio per minute in promotion season only 10 per cent less than Pukki. Start him. Not sure, leave it to Farkes judgement. 20 minutes at least per game an absolute must. Where was he last season? Super Mario!
  8. Wes v Mario. Mario is far better at dead balls which has to feature in any comparison.
  9. Man of the match even if he was on for only 10 minutes. Goalscorers win matches. 2 seasons ago his goals per minute ratio was only slightly behind Pukki. Super Mario!
  10. Delighted to have filed old news on a relevant thread.
  11. Note from Companies House records that the Accounts end date has been deferred to 31 July, a month later than usual.
  12. Maybe the high maintenance means he will choose to see out his Carrow Road contract rather than play football? Don't let BK know, he will introduce a fans charge for posting pictures like that on this website.
  13. Perhaps but the better way to do that would be to invite 5,000 to the showground and publicise it.
  14. Interesting to note that Kings Lynn are planning a crowd of 100 in the Corn Exchange which I would have thought is better ventilated with high ceilings etc. than the Carrow Road lounges?
  15. Their comments on the £20 away ticket price would be interesting considering they backed their own initiative to effectively increase the price above £30.
  16. Will the Club get a £10,000 fine?. Still no problem I guess it is less than the wages of Trybull, Drmic and Leitner and maybe they will still make a profit on the day assuming around 1,000 in attendance?
  17. What does the PL handing 25% of its income to the EFL actually mean? If true - I am not sure that it is - it would be more significant than simply recycling parachute monies which in principle needs to be spread more evenly amongst EFL clubs. Investment in grass roots football should also be a requirement. How about some European football for small towns and cities, a little like the original Fairs Cup. If we could get that I would happily leave the Premier League on the shelf. In time it could be come a more attractive product than the predictable Premier League and Champions League. In the interim we might see some salaries for our players that come back closer to planet earth.
  18. I can see where you are coming from and there is plenty of middle ground between 740 bondholders and 22,000 season ticket holders. I suspect any rate of return they offer will be much less than the Bond Scheme. Could be of some benefit if still in the Championship but £5 million is unlikely to contribute much to a Premier League season which is where we should be next time round given our financial advantages this season.
  19. I guess it has got to happen but in a different way to normal as it has been for many other companies.
  20. I recall they were staying away from empty grounds in solidarity with the fans.
  21. I guess that makes Luton the wealthiest Club given that the wealth of all their supporters needs to be taken into account? Using the same logic we should add the wealth of 47% of our supporters to our figure then we may be competing with Luton for top spot.
  22. Apologies re my earlier posting re my debate with Nigel as you are quite right about the thread. Equally though you are quite right above and my debate with Nigel was similarly about disregard for supporters.
  23. Absolutely. Let's hope this nonsense is completely abandoned.
  24. This website features a superb interview with Damian Collins, Tory MP for Folkestone on the football crisis. Ben Kensell being interviewed next week on same. Essential listening.
