John Ruddy all day long, reminds me of "The Monk" from Mean Machine! -
Scaremongouring at it''s best! "were coming to get you so make sure you don''t have the game on when we come" I looked in to this for a friend quite alot recently and from what I read it seems that European courts started that no one was to face prosecution from any one until they had reached a verdict (expected to last well in to next year) and then that there would be an appeal (at least another year) and that this was how it had become so common.

Norwich 11-0 Regional German side
Bruce Eats Walkers! replied to Bovril's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
And nearly everyone has hit the back of the net, a goal is a goal and the confidence it creates cannot be gained on the training ground -
2 players for every position covering 2 formations, 7 out of 7 signings completed on 21st July. No injuries. Looking very good to hit the ground running against Wigan! We seem much better prepared than our direct rivals at the lower end of the premier league.

I''m sure I read that Adam Drury missed the Gorleston game through A slight knee injury and that Simon Lappin had just become a father, that would suggest to me that they have a place for the season. I wouldn''t be so optimistic for Steven Smith, Steven Hughes, Oli Johnson, Anthony MacNamee, Owain Tudur Jones and, dare i suggest it, Cody Macdonald who''s absence remained unexplained. I didn''t see any of them at Gorleston. Adam Drury was there sitting with Elliot Ward first half and Simon Lappin has a pretty good reason for his absence. Not looking good for the rest though!

I''ve been told that it will be a strong first team squad including all new signings Holt etc. Curiously Chris Martin is not in the squad! -
Does this mean he will finally be able to find out what goes on at Colney then?

who is the hardest list
Bruce Eats Walkers! replied to ziggy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Vaughn does not look ''ard! I recon Tierney is the biggest nutter weve got. Morrison must be hard, simply because he came from Milwall. Also notice last season Milwall keeper David Forde looks really hard, I''m gonna eat your children hard, especially when they scored he turne to the Barclay and screamed. Looked absolutely mental! -
When watching our promotion dvd......

Chris Martins game had changed quite alot for me, less selfish, better awareness of his teammates and more economical with the ball, sadly this meant less shots and therefore less goals, which a striker will always be judged on! -
Drury Testimonial.....

I would expect it to be held after his contract expires, if it was happening this summer we would have been told by now -

For those with the new shirt
Bruce Eats Walkers! replied to mississauga_canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I really Like it, the fit is a bit more snug than last years so definatly needs trying first, also not as long as previous shirts. The material is much better than previous attempts, hard to describe why though not so shinty Lycra type material. The quality of the city badge is much better too. My only down side is that the V neck Is a little tight but I''m sure it will loosen up after a few washes. My favourite feature however is that the bloody aviva logo has gone from the back, looks so much better with on te ball city up there instead! -
Where is the BIG money signing?
Bruce Eats Walkers! replied to Thecanaryfan's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Is that lack of intimidation factor a bad thing? Teams go to Man U, Arsenal etc expecting a battle and to play maybe above themselves, whereas teams turning up with the expectation of winning are less likely to push as hard. Lambert has shown us all that a well oiled machine can perform greater that the sum of it''s parts, I think it''s more about character that reputation for Lambert and his signings reflect that -
Your favourite Norwich City.....
Bruce Eats Walkers! replied to Lennon7's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Player of all time - Huckerby, the fact he went to play in America to avoid a potential game against city says it all Goal of all time - Goss vs Leeds from Fox''s cross (hold on while I just load YouTube up for a sneeky look) recently though the Jackson winner against Derby or the Holt equaliser against Charlton last year for the sheer pandemonium it created. Match I was at - Ipswich, 4-1 no more to say really Manager - Lambert Captain - Grant Holt Kit - the Asics one it was the first kit I had, so lucky orphan in Afrika or somewhere ended up with it in one of those donate a kit thinks (thanks mum) -
Your worst Norwich City......
Bruce Eats Walkers! replied to Jonzey's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
1. Player - Juan Velasco, Ian Murray, Julien Brellier What were we thinking that season??? 2. Goal - Counago, scum away 2002 after Bentsen Pen hit the post, wouldn''t have counted now as no city player had touched it before 2nd shot (which Greeno amazingly saved) had been taken. 3. Charlton Home FA Cup 2nd round replay under Roeder, we were woeful 4. Manager - Roeder, just for his arrogance and contempt for the fans. 5. Captain - Fotheringham, anyone can clap their hands and shout alot. 6. - the DPC ones were poor the DPC logo attracted all sorts of fluff and crap -
I was in Majorca last year the day we played MK Dons at home and stopped in a bar with SSN on just as Chris Maryin curled in that free kick equaliser. Jumped up and cheered and turned round to see a family of 4 all wearing Leeds shirts Glaring at me. Never saw a city shirt though.

When is the new shirt on general sale?
Bruce Eats Walkers! replied to Cappsy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
General sale on Thursday for anything left after pre orders have been satisfied, was in the shop today and the have the premier league letters and numbers etc in and will be the same price as before (eg £3.50 a letter £1 a number) one on the shirts on display behind the counter looked a much different material to the current shirt but they assured me that the fit was the same as the xara shirt although they still advised trying it on before getting it printed!
