Everything posted by Huh?!

1. He is also a Man U fan so doubt he is bothered by Norwich transfer targets..
2. Sorry if people want to shoot me down for this post but thought I would share it. Someone who I used to play footie with has put on Facebook an hour ago that he spotted FF on Unthank Road this afternoon.. It isn''t a post to say that he is definitely signing or anything similar. Thought you''d like to know and to discuss..
3. Wow, this is the first post in a while that I have read every single comment and took note of all the comments with detail.. Everything you have all said is a great description of how our club will fair come the start of the season. Why a lot of people are saying "Little''ol''Norwich buying lower league players will not work", we are all thinking it can. With the team spirit we have, and the way the club is being run, why can''t we do it? Why can''t we be safe by Easter? Put it this way, no way am I going to say we are defitnately safe, or we WILL finish in the top half (like last year) but I have every faith in our players, manager and the club itself to succeed and make a statement to all of the press who doubt us. It happened last year, why not again?!
4. 1. Julien Brellier 2. Darren Carter pen in play-off final 3. Norwich 1 - 7 Colchester 4. Glenn Roedent 5. Mark Fotheringham 6. None
5.
Please let this be true
What is your beef with Cody? All you do is slate him!
6.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vH1CMrCCkD8 Have to admit I''m a big fan!
Liverpool sing that for Maxi Rodriguez..My mate who goes to Anfield every game says it is a great song when the whole Kop joins in.
7. I honestly don''t think Barnett will start. Ward and Whitbread were both bought by Lambert as his number 1 centre backs. Unless we sign another defender (which I think we will) then they will both start. Yes, Barnett was superb when he was playing, but the only reason we signed him was because of injuries. I can''t see Lambert dropping Ward for him..Anyway, we shall see. ILWT!
8. Apparently Craig Mackail-Smith has been spotted in Asda..
9. Maik Taylor will be 40 this year - I personally think he is too old. Fair enough an experienced back up, but surely we can do better than him!
10.
God how people like to moan, we''re still 2nd we got there with the players we have so logic would dictate that we can stay there with what we have. You may not like Chris Martin and you may not rate him, but if by Thursday we have not signed anybosy then he is officially the best we have (other than Holt obviously) so stop moaning and get behind the lad!
Agreed! And why moan about Chrissy Martin now, why can''t they wait until he''s fit and back in the side. He plays much better when he''s got the bit between his teeth - maybe with him being out of the squad for the time he has, he is desperate to get back in to the starting 11?! Too premature NCFC fans!
11.
It''s not a rumour!! It crazes me that when people get legitimate info. and think it would be cool to share it with fans as to players the club has tried to bring in you then get people liek you being all mardy about it! This is true. My friend wouldn''t make something like this up and Greg phoned her to tell her at the time that a move to Norwich might have been on the cards. I give up with sharing info. now!
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
12. Once again I shall be driving to another away game...Has anyone drove before who has got a good idea where to park that is close to the ground? Maybe with a few pubs near by as well??
13.
Yeh I went to that Gills game and looking back on it I would probably say that last minute equaliser was the turning point of our season. We were down to 10 men and Norwich teams of past would have lost but we showed that fighting spirit that was so badly needed in that game
I reckon the turning point in our season was against charlton at home 2-2 draw. 2-0 down to one of the leagues favourites who were sitting pretty at the top! That was the game I felt our season kicked off!
14. I left early on Saturday for the first time in about 5 years! I had a wedding to attend to. I had to get home, get ready and be back at the train station for 6! I left at 87 and was very surprised how many people were running away from CR!.
15.
Norwich fans are and always have been ridiculously reserved. Considering there is 25, 000 fans at carrow road every week the atmosphere is embarrasing. Thank god for the few hundred in the barclay and snake pit who actually get behind the team. Main reason i gave up my season ticket is the match day experience at carrow road is not what football is about. Unless of course you''re a pensioner with a blanket keeping your lap warm in the city stand, or a family enjoying a picnic in the jarrold.
How can you call yourself a "Norwich Fan" if you''ve given up your season ticket because of the match day experience at carrow road? To me that is a very pointless excuse. If you are a Norwich fan with a season ticket, you should enjoy the day however it is, win or lose!!!!!
16. Superb. Cheers for your help standard. Sounds good (Y)
17. Anyone know of a decent place to park at deepdale on Saturday. Wanna be fairly close to the ground that won''t charge over the odds for match day.
18. Paddy painting his front room, wife walks in and can''t believe paddy is doing so well. To her surprise he''s worked so hard the sewat is dripping off him. She ask''s him; "Why on earth are you wearing a leather jacket and a parka?" he says " Hello, read the tin! It says for best results put on two coats!"
19. Can you buy away match programmes from canary store?! If you can I never knew it...
20. Has anyone got a programme from the scunthrope game that they''ve read but do not want to keep?! I collect programmes from all the games, however when I got there yesterday they were all sold out. If anyone has got one message me and I will give you your money back...cheers
21. What worries me however is being made to look slow by Slyvain Distin, quick of course, but compared to some of the whippersnappers in the Championship surely Distin is reasonably slow. Distin is stupidly quick, there is no way that anyone in our team would out pace him (well maybe Doc)...Just because he is a big lad people think he has to be slow..seriously, if you''ve never seen him play before you don''t realise how much pace he has!
22. Just think about what you said, Spillane leaving for first team action. He started both Spillane and Martin against charlton for a reason. He wanted defensive cover. Starting Spillane at right back shows he has more confidence in his defensive ability over Martin. If Martin was our first choice right back he''d have started and we would have palyed another midfielder. I would be very disappointed if Lambert was to offload him or even if Spillane wanted to leave the club he grew up with only having one decent first team season!!
23. Rudd wont be starting. He''s been told he''s going out on loan!
24. Lambert must like something about him considering he''s signed a new two year deal even though he''s been injured!!
25. Has everyone seen the provisional squad? Anyone a little surprised with a few inclusions?
