1. When I lived in London they used to refer to me as a dirty northern bas**rd because I came from Norwich. But then again they did that to everyone who lived north of the watford gap.
 2. Calm you down bor, it''s only Wednesday! Have a cold drink.... (unless your post is already cold drink influenced!)
 3. Got to admit, i''m from the school of thought that says anyone wearing white boots on the Sunday pitch better be good otherwise they''re going to be taken out at the knees.  Bit like having a Kookabora "Big Kahuna" bat in the style of Ricky ponting. Now that''s just asking for chin music.
 4. I''d trust you like a local council with a CCTV network
 5.

It''s a bit like the guy who sits behind me and shouts ''donkey'' every time the Doc is on the ball. I just don''t see what good it does, and I ask him that. I never get a comprehensible reply, though.
We agree on that, then.  There''s a knobhead sitting next to me in the upper Barclay who insists on calling him "Donkerty", boos him when the team is announced and then spends all his time swearing at Doc whenever he''s within 10 feet of the ball.  It''s profoundly irritating.
It''s weird how this happens. My brother used to sit in front of a chap in the Barclay who whenever Shaun Carey got the ball would scream "Caaaaaareey you useless ****".  This became rather wearing after a while so my my bro turned round asked him "Is this personal mate?", his reply,  "Too f***n right it is". I wonder what Shaun did to the guy!
 6.
9 years from our first relegation in 1994 1995 it took to get back to the prem and fans where not happy it took that long rightly so but noe 3 years from our last relegation its seems fans r happy to wait another 9 years to get back to the prem nice old norwich . a time has got to come come when second best is not good enough that all iam saying.
Hi "Chris". Two things, One the point you are trying to make, what evidence do you have that we are "happy to wait"?Secondly, why do you change your username everyday? Unless you suddenly learn how to change your unique writing style it''s pretty bleedin obvious who you are!!
 7. Oh but if he could see you working on TV tomorrow he might be! Work really hard just in case.....
 8. I''m pretty sure they don''t do commentary on friendlies. By the look of the schedule at 18:00 there is "Gold for grownups". Doesn''t sound like commentary to me i''m afraid Peckham!
 9. Well, the "chris", Striker", "soccer" is pretty easy to spot by his unique butchery of the English language
 10.
3 years since promotion the fans have got so fed up on here that ur all accepting mid table finish i know rome wasnt built in a day but it was built . the board have limited ambition i know but thought the fans would demand a top 6 finish were a big championship side not a small one accept nothing else but playoff position not midtable finish.
When do you go back to school again "Chris"?  Having said that your standard of writing is definately improving. Perhaps we are performing a service and should let you continue. You can do punctuation now and everything!
 11. On the whole I think that taking away the mods is good thing. I remember getting rather hot under the collar about the Turners and posting some vaguely disparaging comments about the loan terms they gave NCFC in comparison to that given to many of the customers who wander into the hapless abyss of a company based in Norwich that........sorry at it again... Athem, anyway it was an opinion piece and I doubt  would have troubled many lible laywers from their carcasses, but it was removed. Point being Mods will always need to err on a side of caution that we probably do not. It makes for a livelier debate as well as the "real time" beneifits. Maybe the standard has dropped in places but hey, just ignore the posts that are really stupid, awfully spelt or irrelevant. Then they slip away.
 12. For info, i''ve just got my ticket from the ticket shop in the Mall and they reckon they''ve sold about 4000 so far but think it will pick up in the next couple of days.
 13. Liverpool are on the telly again?
 14.
Barclay boy most clubs on relegation become selling clubs, to account for loss of revenue. Look at Watford for example, Southampton, all doing the same as we went through. Do you really think gate receipts are enough to fund consistently competitive team on a promotion push? If so you are deluded. All the 8 players in would have involved capital outlay, in either transfer fees, loan fees, agent fees, player signing on fees. The like of Stefanovic  will be on pretty big wages, certainly not cheap,  there were plenty of teams after Hoolihan and Bell so I very much doubt we got them cheap either. The teams doing well are on the whole teams that are funded by a rich board. Hull are an exception, Stoke are not. Our Board isn''t rich enough to compete with the boards of many other teams, we all know that. Hence the interest in Cullum. But to go from there to accusing Delia of stealing money from the club (as ruddster did) is idiotic (and libelous). What exactly did I get wrong?
Now then BDU, don''t let reality intrude here, it spoils their fun!
 15. Definately! I remember my first game, a 2-1 victory over Chelsea.in about 1982 My Dad took my brother and I, went through the southstand turnstyle and said, "one please and these two on my lap". Now then, did I lock the door this morning..........
 16. Bands at football are awful. They monopolize the singing aka the terrible durges  we have to listen to at England matches. Would we ever want that at CR? Please no. Oh yeh and almost uniformly the standard of actual music is total drivel. The only exception I can think in England to this is Billy the trumpeter of barmy army fame. Now he is class!
 17.

Cullum didn''t walk away he was sent away - twice actually.  And please explain how "digging in for the fight" would have been anything other than detrimental to the club.  Masterly inactivity is what''s called for right now.  Cullum is far too sophisticated to be bothered about Delia''s pyrrhic victory (that''s when you win the battle but lose the war).
Hmm. Thanks for the defintion. A Pyrrhic victory  is  usually defined as one gained at too greater cost. Not sure that has been established yet eh? Let''s just see. Personally i''m still on the fence awaiting Mr Cullum to remember where he''s put his armour, white horse and  sense of reality. So far i''m really angry that he''s caused such friction and taken so much attention away from our pre season.
Maintaining overall control per se is a victory from Delia''s point of view.  I doubt whether any right thinking fan would agree.
Would that be right thinking in general or just on this issue I wonder?
 18.
Below is a general definition (not mine) which I think is fairly accurate: The Times: Read by the people who run the country. Daily Mirror: Read by the people who think they run the country. Guardian: Read by the people who think they ought to run the country. Morning Star: Read by the people who think the country ought to be run by another country. Daily Mail: Read by the wives of the people who own the country. Financial Times: Read by the people who own the country. Daily Express: Read by the people who think that the country ought to be run as it used to be. Daily Telegraph: Read by the people who think it still is. The Independent: Read by the people who are not happy about the Middle East. Daily Star: Read by people who think Jade is top totty. Metro: Read by people with nothing else to do between Bethnal Green and Ealing Common. The Sun: Their readers don''t care who runs the country as long as she has big tits.
I love this! I swear I learned nearly everything important I know about managment from Yes Minister. I''m not sure that Media is much different to how it has always been. The reason newspapers exist is to sell newspapers.(ooh cliche)  Find your audience, size it up, write for it, they buy it, hey presto.I don''t think the BBC is as impartial as many like to think. Their use of  bbc.co.uk funded by us through the licence fee makes it a pretty uneven playing field against others. Having said that I would pay the whole fee just for Test match Special. The one thing that does bug me is 24hr rolling news, the whole "What''s happening now, and now, and now" really annoys me. Oh and the realiance on "viewer content". The laziest form of journalism.

 20.
Coach & Horses is too packed and you can''t sit down! I like to discuss the current "sityooation " before the game and catch up with my mates - in the Coach it is so packed that you can''t have a conversation with anyone. Often go to Ketts which has good beers/ciders but not Sky!!! Looking for an alternative venue this season preferably with Sky and somewherejust off Riverside Rd - have tried the pub on Bishops Bridge (can''t think of the name but it''s pretty good) Post match I tend to go to the Wig & Pen on Palace Street as they have a happy hour between 5 and 6.
Stevie, the pub on Bishop''s bridge is the Red Lion but I don''t think it has Sky. Opposite is the bridgehouse which does have Sky but looks slightly less than Salubrious. (i''ve never been in to be honest) If you want a really good pub that does food, Sky, great beer and a convivial atmosphere to chat about the game I would heartily recommend the Horse and Dray on Ber street. I know it''s the other way but it''s great.
 21. I used to like the Steampacket. Proper boozer. Shame on you Adnams!
 22. The Mirror disagree! apparently they say: "Manchester United winger Chris Eagles will join Burnley in the next 48 hours in a £1m-plus deal." (Daily Mirror)
