1. I really hope we get Martin Patterson form Scunny. I really rate him - hes not a specific target man or poacher he is a good alround striker. I believe even if we paid up to £1.5 m for him we would be getting a very good deal.
2. Yes Please. Funneist line so far:
''weight had to be lost and Crofty was first on his list.''
3. Why not put this on a thread on the subject. There are enough of them!
4.

I blame fans like the ones on this thread for feeding on a negative atmosphere and forces everyona associated with the club to play the blame game.   You lot make me sick.
All it is is snipes with you Mr. Apologist. Do you think we were good enough last night? Do you think Glenn should have tinkered with the team resulting in our poor form of late? Do you think some of his tactical decisions have been woreful (i.e. coventry)? In my opinion you don''t add anything. You don''t make any decent points and are just the anti-smudger.
I have always posted well thought out points but recently have become fed up with the fact that they do not surface or make a dent on this message board full of scathing criticism of a team that we knew were below par but look like they may acheive the goal that we all wanted set when we were 6 points adrift - to survive! At the momement the goalposts for Glen keep changing. We all wanted loans . . got them - but then didnt want them. Wanted to be safe then wanted playoffs. I know what you are saying about tinkering with a winning team, but we knew we were not going up this season so i would rather keep premiership managers happy and willing to send their players to us by playing them. We do not have the resources and it has been well documented that we do not have the player pulling power of many clubs. Loans are probably a good way forward for us. Also this madness of why didnt we spend loads in January? WTF? Pay over the top prices only to get nowhere anyway. A very few pinkun posters try to look for the positives in our club - they may be few but are you all depressed people?   BUT do you want to know the biggest gripe i have with you lot? The fact that i think you would be happy to drive away a manager, who to anyone who really thinks about Norwich''s situation, that has a realistic chance of getting our club to where we all want it to be. He was not in the frame for director of football at arsenal for nothing. He needs at least years to develop our acadamy, our team and our chances. Also you keep all saying but we get 25K fans? SO what - attendances account for nothing in the new media world. Look at newcastle 50k+ fans and a lot of good managers have struggled! If the fans drive out Glen before he has a good chance to change our club we will never get better and it will be your fault.
5. For you fans saying Glen will relegate us and other snipes . . .   Do you want us to be Newcastle . . . great support but chopping and changing managers every season when the boo boys and tw*t fans start turning up? No solidarity - no chance to finish a rebuiding job?   We would be down without him. If he left us we would go forom bad to worse and you are part of the problem not the solution.
6. You dont know what your talking about. We were up sh*t creek without a paddle before he came in.
7. I blame fans like the ones on this thread for feeding on a negative atmosphere and forces everyona associated with the club to play the blame game.   You lot make me sick.
8. Who are the Callums? I assume you mean the Turners - but iwont point it out.
9.

Roeder was at Newcastle, took them to 7th in his first season, their best league position in the past decade. He also took Wet Sham to the same position, also their best league finish in a decade. Yes he got WH relegated, but in his defence, he did have a brain tumour to contend with. That is a success story in my opinion.
Roeder also nearly relegated newcastle. His end at newcastle was 1 win in 10 games. Including an embarssing draw to watford, a thumping loss to blackburn, a draw against whu at home, and a loss to wigan. Hardly any of them being world beaters. I call that a failure in my book, but hey, it''s subjective. He also got WHU relegated, nearly relegated the gills out of the league entirely with them staying up by their teeth. He was sacked from watford with them dead bottom. They eventually got relegated and taylor took over them and saw them rise to the prem. He was also an assistant at burnley where they only just survived relegation as well. I''m starting to see a pattern emerging...
Fellas - you sound like you want Glen to fail. You shouldnt be called a fan. Just want to be proved right.
10.
Huckerbys still got more skill in his little toe than most of the wasters pulling on a yellow shirt nowadays , as for Roeder well maybe most of you have it wrong and hes not god after all , lets face it hes hardly been a roaring success at the other clubs hes managed has he .

Maybe most of you have it wrong and he''s not God after all, lets face it, he''s hardly been a roaring success at the other clubs he''s played for has he....
Greatest comeback on here for a while. Lol Kick it off is absolutly correct. Good post.
11. Good post. The posters on here are unbelievable sometimes.
12. I was just having a look at post from Grants era when everyone on this board was slamming the Board for not being able to bring in loanees as they were too expensive (Grants words) and having no "ambition" because we would not fund it. Now everyone is slamming the board for wasting our money on premiership loanees!   It jutst goes to show people on this message board are not happy unless theie moaning. You should all be ashamed.
13.
So, what''s your opinion on Marshall''s save from Dublin then Jas? Or the other couple of quality saves he made that night? The guy is 22, and we all know most keepers don''t peak until their late 20s/early 30s. The potential is there, and I agree he needs to work on certain aspects of the game, but he has pulled off some absolutely incredible saves this season. To call him an awful goalkeeper... well, that''s stupidity beyond belief. Do you think you could point out where he has "cost us goals", and perhaps compare it to where he has "saved us goals with outstanding saves"? I''m fairly certain the latter column would be just a little greater... and besides all that, isn''t he in the top three keepers this league according to the OPTA stats?
I agree - Marshall has saved our bacon so many times (a couple that spring to mind - penatly away to barnsley, one on one vs preston late on). He is our best asset at this club by a long way imo.
14. Fellas, i think the problem is how much can managers do with such a lack of resources? I am not a poster who wants us to spend more than we have, and i am not critisising the board. But we are a small club in terms of the new age of football and we have to do some things we may not like e.g please premiership managers. Due to the fact we dont have much pulling power individually.
15. You say we may have missed out but are the fees on keepers very high? Everyone said Greeno could be england no1 but he went for 2.5 m.
16. When i went there was a smallish car park just off the ring road not too far from the ground at about £3. I arrived pretty close to the start of the game, saw it signposted and it still had room. So you should not have much of a problem as i think a lot of people go by other means. Their ground is carp though.
17. Note: I hope we buy Pattison from Scunthorpe in the summer.
18. Bolton will be the other team to go down with Fulham and Derby. Have you seen their run - in . . . its solid!
19. Even if he did leave we would have to say well done to him.   Saved us from certain relegation.
20. My team.   Marshall Otsembor       Doc        Shacks       Mo Chadders (i wish -stuck with Croft)  Fozzy   Patty   Bertrand Dublin   Evans Bench: Gilks Pearce, Valesco, Henry (for corft asap), Curo. Good team imo
