1.
Dont care if sarcasm is low, its still funny.
Well, that went whooshing over your heads then, didn''t it. If you found the original laboured and long-winded post funny then you have a one dimensional sense of humour.
 2. Nothing else to do in Norfolk on a Saturday afternoon, in Winter.
 3.

.......... but I didn''t write that. Did I ? Or am I going mad ?!
Sorry All dots it was a quote from scooby. OK I got it wrong again lol. Sorry
Well Bloodwagon ( ! ) if you will look at the PinkUn message board at 4.53 in the morning (really ???) what do you expect ?!
 4.

I have been accused of many things but naivety is not one of them. Cynical, possibly. Realistic and pragmatic, definitely. Roeder is clearly an intelligent guy. Therefore, I can see him trading in his chips whilst they still have commercial value.
By the same token then "Dotty" do you not think his "chips" will have far higher commercial value as a manager who took a team from the bottom of the Championship to the Premier League and kept them there???  Now perhaps a manager who could do that would be worth his weight in "chips" and be a target for a truly big club.  Otherwise he might only be offered a job by the likes of Bolton, Newcastle(again), Birmingham etc. I would see Glenn go with a large thank you after 3 or 4 years if he left us mid table in the Prem to go to a top 6 club.  Personally I think he''s the kind of man who sees a challenge and is prepared to meet it head on.  He wants us in the Premiership and he wants to be the man to take us there.  I can''t see him going anywhere unless the board do not keep to the promises they made to get him here in the first place.
Ah, but there''s a flaw in your argument. You said : By the same token then "Dotty" do you not think his "chips" will have far higher commercial value as a manager who took a team from the bottom of the Championship to the Premier League and kept them there???  You are already assuming that GR will achive promotion next season and that''s one whacking great big assumption.   Hypothesis : One of the bottom 10 teams in the premiership comes a calling for GR in the summer offering a great big salary and loadsamoney to spend on players. Does he :-   (A) laugh in their faces saying "no thanks" I will gamble all on being able to take Norwich up this coming season even though I know that I will not be given much money to spend (the Turners according to one poster on here today only providing expert advice on ''ealth and safety and employment legislation at the club !) ... or ...... (B) think, Mmmmm, a bird in the hand is worth two in The Nest, take the money and run i.e. instead of gambling all on a rank outsider I will cash in my chips now and leave whilst I''m ahead of the game.   The point being that this time next year, Norwich could be fighting relegation and Gr''s chips worth nothing.
 5.

.  I can''t see him going anywhere unless the board do not keep to the promises they made to get him here in the first place.
Just one thing there All dots, You dont know what, or even if, he has been promised anything, he just might want to do it hes way, (build a team to go up into the prem). Just to prove a point to his last clubs. But we will never know what, or if, he was promised anything, as that is between him and board. Sorry just a point. But i say good luck to him, hes done wonders since hes been here, and NO i cant see him jumping to a prem team, not till he gets us to the promised land, (or gets sacked becuse the "crowd" dont think hes doing a good job) remember we lost 5 since hes been here and after the last game some people are now saying hes a crap manager, people are so fickle. I swear some wants us to go down, just so they can say "I told you so". I guess we will have to live with them, and tell them, "I told you so" when we go up next season. Its the nature of the beast i guess, there to be shot at.
.......... but I didn''t write that. Did I ? Or am I going mad ?!
 6. I have been accused of many things but naivety is not one of them. Cynical, possibly. Realistic and pragmatic, definitely. Roeder is clearly an intelligent guy. Therefore, I can see him trading in his chips whilst they still have commercial value.
 7. Citizen Foghorn (I think) said time will tell whether or not GR is more than an impact manager. Personally, I believe he will maximise on his short term achievement here and use it as a platform to get back into the premiership during the summer. Let''s face it, he must realise by now that the Directors talk a good talk when it comes to ambition and backing the manager but they just don''t deliver. And, whilst I''m at it, when did the Turners come on Board and what is the point of them ?
 8. Said manager Glenn Roeder: “Darren Huckerby is a massive doubt with a groin injury that he said he sustained early in the game. “So for our supporters, if they see he''s not starting or even on the bench tomorrow night, it''s because he''s injured.”
 9.

Obviously I really like Roeder, he''s doing a fantastic job, but I wouldn''t dare cross him if I worked within the club that''s for sure.
I just can''t understand why Roeder needed to comment like this?  He could have put the whole subject to bed earlier had he come out in the press and given us his reasons for dropping Hucks.  Hopefully this isn''t the start of the downfall of Roeder''s reign as at his previous clubs.  If little things like some fans critisism of Gibbs first performance (one so bad Roeder dropped him for a right winger playing out of position) and Neil ''Fence Sitter'' Adam''s not particuarly controversial comments have got to him that badly I wonder how he takes other comments around the club?
Couldn''t agree more with your post Citizen but others on this thread who have expressed similar and perfectly reasonable comments have been slaughtered for their temerity at any hint of criticism of Roeder. We are all in accord that Roeder has turned our club around and we all recognise that we owe him a debt of gratitude but that doesn''t mean to say that he has carte blance to to say whatever he wants and IMO his coments went to far and, worryingly, revealed an element of his character that perhaps doesn''t bode well for the future. Only my personal view of course. As a supplementary comment, it wouldn''t surprise me if he left in the summer for a premiership club anyway. Cue GBH for N R Us and 1st Wiz etc.
 10. Norwich R Us - Completely disagree with you on your main point and as for the rest you just rambled off the subject. I don''t think for one moment that any NCFC fan thinks that GR is anything but an excellent manager and none of us need you or anybody else to show us the current form table. We know it already. But none of that means that we fans lose the right to criticize Roeder if feel the need to and I, for one, agree that his comments about Neil Adams are out of order, nasty and unnecesary. As it happens, I enjoy listening to NA on Canary Call and I do believe he has the right to have an opinion. After all, he isn''t a BBC newscaster who by definition, if not in practice, should be neutral.
 11. She''s even featured in Retail Weekly !
 12.
Living in Yorkshire myself I''ve always thought of Hull as a rugby town anyway. Much like Wigan is.
Blimey, that''s a killer point ! I thought the debate was about potential fan bases, sizes of local populations etc not whether or not you thought that K on Hull is a rugby town. I saw that Hull Fc had an attendance recently of close on 20K, now that you have raised the point what''s the average Hull KR home attendance ? I really don''t know so I''m not making any point apart from just being curious.
 13. I agree with smallest man, Greeno definitely didn''t do himself any favours by revealing his irritation at being ignored by Capello. Who would you rank as the top six English goalies and should the list include Almunia or whatever his name is ?
 14.
Here''s an idea 1st.... until you have acquired a brain for thyself, shut thy gob!
Both unnecessarily offensive and mindlessly moronic, don''t you think ? Seems to me that you''re the one with the vacant skull cavity.
 15.
Until you''ve actually signed someone, shut thy gob!. I happen to think you''re an ok manager, but getting desperate fans hopes up is just plain wrong,  just like you have now on two seperate occassions. Stop it!.[8o|]
And....... stop going on about your friendship with Arsene Wenger and all things Arsenal.
