Yep, were are not good enough and from watching the championship this morning the league we are heading towards we will struggle to as we dont really have a "team" or "team spirit" which a lot of clubs in league 1 have and are well established, when the season finishes and IF we go down the loans will go and so will some of the players so there will not be much left to work with and re building (once again) takes time.

Im sure the players will be gutted and will discuss it whilst having a round of golf follwed by a few beers in the local night club later in the week, they will soon be on their holidays anyhow-and how hard they have worked for it too.

Come on folks.. .....the lads train and work hard for their money-when they are out tonight it will give them a chance to let off some steam and release the pressure of the situation they find themselves in then...its a stressful business is football if they dont perform....they get dropped....and still paid.......hang on......im in the wrong job......

well from watching the championship and the highlights from division 1 this morning (checking out the potential new opposition for next season) i fear that we will once again struggle to compete as if we are relegated we will be starting from scratch again next season with regards to the team we will put out-so blooding a few young-uns wouldnt do any harm as its possible they will be a major part of the team next season.

ive thought that too, we looked ok with dejan at the back always seemed to have a cool head and his distribution and positional play was good when i saw him play,and he was an "old" head with a lot of experience which i think we have lacked this season-so for me he was quite a big loss.

Given we are not relegated yet although looks increasingly likely we still have a small squad once we take out the loans etc. If we are relegated sooner rather than later do you think we should immediatly send all our loan players beck etc (save on wages) and play with all our owned players and ones who are likely to be here next season?? I think this would be a good idea especially if we are relegated in the next 3-4 games even if it means we are on the end of some hidings-could be invaluable for next season.

well im sure being booed by a ground full of people is not nice, but if i was on 5k a week then i wouldnt let it get to me too much.

Well being optomistic if the players think they are down they may play with less pressure on them (although running around a pitch for  90 mins for 5k a week is a pressure i wouldnt mind) and could perform an escape from the drop!! I will wait now for the next few days for the headlines we can all expect from the usual suspects doc/russell etc about performing against qpr and how they ow it to the fans, followed by some kind of comments from doncaster about how we are skint skint and even more skint thankyou very much.

In the Words of Paul Daniels "Not a lot"!! Im sure they hired someone to actively seek new investment?? It must not be going so well i guess!!!

The board wont look upon where we are in the table or which league we are in to gage if we are a success...........its all about money-they will deem success to be how many season tickets we sell and the bottom line at the end of the financial year-so if we are relegated and sell some players but still get large gates and good season ticket sales they will see it as a success, gone are the days of old where it was all about football on the pitch!

Time after time we are given quotes usually from rusty, fozzy or the doc saying we must do better, the fans deserve a performance etc....how many more times!!!!! The past two seasons every game has been massive, for all the wrong reasons-if we were in or around the play offs id be happy to hear things like this! It would be good to hear something different.....like "I get paid whatever happens and can get a move to another club if we go down" might be nearer the truth!!

even if he has an attitude as long as he does the business on the pitch like bellamy/earny etc i wouldnt mind!! chances of getting him here are slim and would only be ON LOAN!!

Leon will score for coventry-i might put some money on it-maybe bell to if allowed to play and if  andy marshall is in goal he is bound to have a few world class saves to deny our two shots on goal!!

Agreed, we cant just rely on other teams messing it up-we have to go into every match as if it was a cup final-hopefully the players will rise to the challenge??!!! If relying on other teams to save us is where we have ended up things are BAD!

IF (being optomistic) we are relegated id say average gates of 17-18k, of we do well. Like some of the others have said we will probably loose a few of the "newer" promotion/play off season fans (oh what glory hunters!!??). Fear not though im sure we will stay up!!!

He is one of the better players this season and one of the most improved, which is good although i think his crossing needs to improve especially now we have a target man/men to aim for.

Just a question........ If you were to catch a shirt thrown into the crowd by a player, would you wash it or keep it in its worn state forever??

we could get the sky cameras in to film a fly on the wall series "big ron manager 2". it would make some interesting viewing and generate some extra cash.
