1. I was truely gutted to read this news. As many have mentioned before, he was NCFC for me on Saturdays as a youngster when I couldn''t go to away games. My personal favourite of Roy was his ability to get so excited about a City attack, confuse you as to what had happened and then say, ".....ooooo Sunderland (or whoever we were playing) have scored!".Two main moments stick in my mind.1) his inability to say Peschisolido.2) Away at Bradford ina league cup game, Fleck to take a penalty. "Fleck steps up. He shoot and score ....................................................(VERY long silence)..................................Nooooo he doon''t, it''s ooooover the top."Not just a Norwich legend, but a Norfolk one too. RIP.
2. Maybe Colchester could ask some of these rejected applicants from Oldham!link
3. 1. QPR2. ReadingPlayoffs: Sheff Utd.Think we''ll push for the playoffs, but may fall at the final hurdle.
4.

Our profile being raised and actually maybe getting some sort of recognition from the media.
Plucky little Norwich? I very much doubt it!We romped this league and how many live league matches did the media choose to show? None!If Leeds go up, the media won''t even remember us![;)]
I meant to say HOME league matches!

6.
I''ve been meaning to work out how many miles I have covered this season.I''ve been to 15 away games (including this Saturday''s trip to Bristol) and travelled to all by car (mine every time!)from the Wymondham Area. I''ve taken a few different routes which I have put into my additions.Overall I will have travelled 2572 miles this season. Interesting to know how many those that have been to every game have covered.
[:$] Been a complete idiot, this is only the cumulative total of the distances. I haven''t allowed for the return journeys.Total mileage = 5144

8. Colchester (A) - Performance and result just wasn''t expected.Brighton (A) - just for the last 10 minutes.Carlisle (A) - Had a weekend in the lakes, but any trip that far from home where you return with 3 points is wonderful!!! [:)] (It hasn''t happened much in recent years)
9. This has been done to death before.I have been to 15 away games this season, but I am only a member (choose to spend my hard earned on away games as I enjoy them more) but I am in the same category as a season ticket holder who hasn''t been to an away game this season. I''m most probably going to miss out on Charlton and (more gutted) Bristol Rovers even though I''ve been to places like Carlisle, Hartlepool, Exeter and Swindon (JPT). It''s the way the system works, and I''ve been lucky in the past when others have not!I suppose this is what happens when we are successful. In recent seasons there has been little need for a detailed allocations policy. However, what annoys me is that Season ticket holders (who already have a home ticket) can buy tickets for home matches the same time as members. A cunning ploy to get money out of supporters by hoping they''ll buy a super membership.Oh well, I probably should have bought an away season ticket this season but I think the wife may have killed me!!!
10. It''s all gone wrong for Leeds as their players are knackered!City for the first time in ages have options on the bench. If someone is injured or suspended we are able to change things and still win matches. Leeds seem to rely on the same few players, and when they don''t turn up they are left with some pretty mediocre stuff.I don''t think Saturday will be easy by any means, and realistically if we perform like we did against Southampton, we could get a shock. I have enough faith in Lambert and the team not to let this happen though!
11. Chill out.I got mine today and I enter through block A. There were plenty left in the Mall shop.Getting rid of 3000 tickets for a Tuesday night isn''t going to be as easy as everyone thinks.
12. Used it frequently in the 90''s, as being under the legal driving age it was the only affordable way of getting to games. However, went to Charlton and Man City (cup) 2 seasons ago and that has put me off for life. The look i got when I sat near the back! I''d have rather walked into a Millwall boozer with a Hammers shirt on!!! [;)]Can anyone remember a trip to Grimsby in the league (finished 2-2, Akinbyi equalised int he 93 minute!) where we had 3 coaches, and two of them crashed into each other meaning they got to the game 30 odd minutes late? Fortunately, I was on the bus that didn''t crash. Also, remember leaving Liverpool in ''94 after the last game of the Kop. The sunroof pulled back all the way, so you could climb onto the bus roof. Some poor bloke with a convertible, sunglasses, leather jacket and the lady to go with it pulled up beside the bus, and some of us climbed through the skylight and filled his car with paper, bottles and unwanted sandwiches. Poor bloke. Bit embarrassed by that now [:$] Stewards and police escort did nothing!!!
13. Away games attended this season so far...........Carlisle and Hartlepool were places I have wanted to vist for ages and finally got the chance. Both old grounds with plenty of character.Col U is the most lifeless of the grounds, although that can''t be said for our trip there. It made a change to sit in the main stand rather than the open seating at Swindon. Much better with a roof. Gillingham is a nice ground bar the away end.Contrary to what most people say, I like The Den. Apart from there being an atmosphere, the view from the away end (top tier at least) is excellent.Brighton is awful, but it serves its purpose as there wouldn''t be a team in Brighton otherwise. Feel sorry for the poor sods who go there every other week! Leeds isn''t that bad. I think the Stewards make the experience worse!Wycombe is a nice ground, nice club but in a horrible industrial estate. The away end has improved since it was terracing (for those that went in the 1994 FA Cup tie) but the facilities haven''t changed!Stockport was ok, but why were weren''t given that area in the covered stand as well I have no idea! Southend was the first time I had visited and was surprised just how old the stand and facilities were. I''ve been to some run down old grounds, but the away end at roots hall beats them all. However, a great atmosphere can be generated which led to an enjoyable evening out!Favourite ground - CarlisleFavourite Away day so far - Col U
14. Apparently I was on the Look East article, but was out of the room when it was on. Missus recognised me.I''ll have to watch it tonight then!
15. Does your Dad listen to Talksport by any chance. Some bloke texted in to say he had picked them both up in a taxi in Middlesborough!!! [:)]
16. I think it is probably about time that the club re-think the allocations policy.Maybe they should immediately exclude those fans that don''t normally attend away games. For example, start with those that can produce 3 away stubs from the past 12 months, then 5 then 10 etc. I think the problem is that any season ticket holder who doesn''t like travelling outsode of East Anglia can suddenly get a ticket for a local match where others who make the effort to go long distances miss out.I can''t complain as I was successful in the ballot, but then it will be my 10th of this season and therefore I think that is a reasonable effort. 17. Have a look here. Should give you an indication where you will be sitting.http://www.cu-fc.com/javaImages/36/ba/0,,10424~5880374,00.jpg
18.
I think that was a wind-up.
Then I stand corrected.I don''t know why I listen, but it''s like Crack. you know its bad for you but you can''t help using![;)]
19. ..............a prerequisite to be a complete, chromosone lacking yokel idiot to either call or text in?Gunn''s a better manager as he won 4-0 at Yeovil in the league cup!!!?????? I honestly despair at the lack of intelect on show. Also, why do people not think through what they are going to say? And how many times do people have to be told to turn their radio off!AAAGGGHHHHH!!!! [:@]
20. Terrace.I''ve been in the seats before!
21. My seventh of the season.4 wins (albeit 1 was on penalties) 1 draw and 1 defeat (Leeds).Feeling confident [:)]
22.
2. Some of our fans need to grow up. 4. We are in league 1. Turning Southend away into some sort of happy clappy carnival makes us look f**king stupid and also continues to perpetuate the myth to Delia et al that the fans are happy with their lot and accept where we are.
My God! I am amazed at some people on here! It''s just about having a laugh. You pay £20 and I think anyone is entitled to. [:@]Are we such a big team that we can''t do such immature things at smaller clubs as it will ruin our big cllub image? Are we supposed to be miserable ALL season because we are in League one? Must we frown and grumble during a successful start to the season just to show Delia that we are still not amused at her running of the club?Football is a form of entertainment, not a political movement. I for one have seen so much dross following Norwich that I am going to enjoy myself for as long as I can as you never know when the bad days of the past few seasons will return. I suggest a few people on here do the same (although I really do think some would prefer us to be struggling!).
23. Do we still hold the worst ever disciplinary record in a season (jointly held with Hartlepool)?
