1. All clubs moan about dodgy decisions.  We don''t have a monopoly on this.  Just because some people are beginning to believe there''s some sort of refereeing conspiracy against us doesn''t alter the simple truth that we are hopeless both on and off the pitch.
 2. Went there many years ago on a tuesday night for the 1st leg of the 2nd round of the league cup.  2:2 draw.  Hell of a long way.  Got back at about 3.00am.
 3.

No. Too many players who know they will be elsewhere next season, so why try too hard. What a joke this club is.
I presume you are referring to the loan players, if so I feel your comment is rubbish.  Yes it would be nice to ''own'' players, but we don''t. No player wants a relegation on his cv.  Period.  And can you honestly say that when they are playing for City you can tell which are on loan and which are permanent players?  If you say you can then I would call you a liar.  Shacks was probably our best player yesterday, saving/blocking shots on numerous occasions, putting himself on the line; he could have been injured several times.  Another point is that Gunn only used 2 loan players yesterday (Grounds and Shacks, Gow as an unused sub).  IMO that is the ''joke'': we made all those (close to and) deadline transfer dealings who are proving so far to have been a waste of time as they appear to be incapable of replacing the failing players we already have - we signed Gow, Killen, Cody Mac, Carney and Keijer in the closing week of the window, and only one of them could even make yesterday''s squad.  Cody Mac is different but, so far, what was the point in signing the others? As to whether we have the fight for it, I am not sure.  I don''t feel we have the players to grind out results such as those that Plymouth and Forest got yesterday (we tried and failed at Reading), we just don''t seem capable of playing well enough as a complete unit for 90 mins.  But then, as it sadly seems to me that a large section of our supporters have given up already, why should the players be any different?
The supporters have given up because it''s obvious that the players have given up.  If there was some real fight on the pitch from all of them and if we looked remotely as if we stood a chance of picking up the necessary points then I''m sure we''d still have a bit of hope but sadly that''s clearly not the case.
 4. It''s all gone quiet over there... Can you hear the boardroom sing?  No-o, no-o... Boardroom, boardroom, gives us a song... Come on; where are you? Let''s be ''avin'' you. But no.  Once again an absolute lack of any leadership whatsoever.  No words of inspiration. No great motivational speeches.  In fact, a board seemingly devoid of any ideas at all.  Shameful.
 5.

Yes but that''s the whole point.  If we think that way then we really are doomed.  We need some World War II mentality.  What if Churchill just said ''The Germans outnumber us and have more resources, we don''t stand a chance lets just surrender?''  (like the French did...) Are you up for the fight?  Or are you a surrender-monkey Frenchie?  :o)
Once again, you''re right that we''d stand more of a chance if we all adopted that attitude but the fact is there doesn''t seem to be a Churchillian figure making the rousing "fight them on the beaches" pronouncements to inspire us and to give as that belief.  We never hear a word from the Chairman; Delia and Michael never put their heads above the parapet these days; Michael Foulger, likewise, doesn''t seem one for making rousing speeches; and as for the Chief Executive, I''ve never found that any of his articles in the EDP have filled me with optimism.  Gunny?  Well, on his post-match interview yesterday he didn''t sound as if he had much belief that we''d get out of this mess.  If we''re going to get the kind of response you mention then someone high up in the Club is going to have to stand up and show a bit of leadership.
And, frankly, this club has been lacking any leadership for years.  For goodness sake, how is it inspiring and motivational for one of the directors to say at the AGM that there''s no point in having any plan because there''s no money but if anyone had any ideas please would they let him know?
 6. Just because you''re a majority shareholder doesn''t mean you have to be on the Board and equally nothing to say that you have to own lots of shares to have a place on the Board (how many do Munby and Doncaster own?).  There''s nothing to stop the present Board from stepping down.  There would then have to be an EGM to elect new Board members. Mind you, we''d still be £20 million in debt!
 7.
Its probably too late but if ever we needed an investor in the club its now. Yes I know its ''pie in the sky'' talk but like a lot of you I''m clutching at straws! Wouldn''t it be great if we could get a Ched Evans in because the fact remains a goal scorer alongside Cort is essential, and we haven''t got one. Some of us have been highlighting the real threat of relegation for the past four years, but were accused of scare mongering and not supporting the club. Well reality is now here for all, but I bet the board will keep theit heads well and truly buried in the sand, instead of admitting their gross incompetence and taking full responsibility for the cuurent dire situation. They are all pathetic and should be held to account foour demise.
All very true including your opening statement of  "It''s probably too late..." but even if there was someone with the money I really don''t think they would want to "invest" any of it as long as the present Board remain in power.  As for buying them out, I think it''s wholly unrealistic for some members of the Board to think that they are going to get back the money that they''ve put in.  If they really want "out" then they should just put all of their shares up for sale (not just to one person but to whoever is interested in a few hundred or thousand)and see what value the "market" puts on them (i.e. what people are actually willing to pay for them).
 8.
Yes but that''s the whole point.  If we think that way then we really are doomed.  We need some World War II mentality.  What if Churchill just said ''The Germans outnumber us and have more resources, we don''t stand a chance lets just surrender?''  (like the French did...) 9. You''re right, of course, that it can be done but I think from the atmosphere yesterday, the apparent lack of belief on the pitch, the general consensus on here and the complete lack of leadership or ideas from the Board that we all accept that it just isn''t going to happen.
 10.
I know it is not going to be popular in saying this but IMO I believe Roeder would have made a better fist of keeping us up than Bryan. Total ass yes and not a gent like B Gunn but  certainly a better football manager and would have def returned more than an apalling 4 out of 21 points!
Obviously we''ll never know whether he would or wouldn''t have kept us up.  Was it the right decision to get rid of him?  After the dreadful run of results culminating in that truly awful FA Cup performance, yes, in my opinion, it certainly was.  But, frankly, whoever took over was in an almost impossible situation because the damage had been done over several seasons of "prudence with absolutely no ambition" resulting in a threadbare squad, half of whom didn''t belong to us anyway, totally devoid of any belief, confidence and, in many cases, ability.  It would have taken an absolute miracle to have turned things around and we are now reaping the rewards of what the Board have sown.
 11.
It is easy to criticise the Board, as it is to blame the Government. The point is unless you have a clear alternative (names please in this credit crunch),a fresh strategy (not just cliche''s regarding infrastructure/super-structure) and some power to change things, you are no more than a self important internet poster (sitting in the comfort of their own home), more interested in their own ego than they are with Norwich City Football Club. Of course this Board has made mistakes, which Board does not, but I do not see alternatives lining up to take over a debt ridden plc, so maybe best to make constructive criticism, rather than score petty points from the side-lines, taking obvious satisfaction from our drift to the 3rd Tier (please see Silver Lining (2), which will soon be out on the Board..
It''s not our role to find alternative investment or someone to buy-out the Board is it?  Our role is to make it absolutely clear to the Board that after many years of extremely poor decision-making they are past their "use-by" date.  It is up to them to find their own exit strategy.  After all, there was no obvious new investment when a previous chairman had overstayed his welcome but that didn''t mean it wasn''t right that the supporters voiced their displeasure and forced change.  I''m really rather fed up with people coming on here saying that we should all stay quiet unless we''ve got £56 million in our back pocket.
 12. Please can everyone stop going along with the rebranding thing.  What you''re talking about is the Fourth Division plain and simple.  We need to refer to these divisions by their real names to reinforce just how bad things have become.
 13. I don''t care what the current brand name is.  What we''re heading for is the Third Division!  We can look forward to all the joys of the Johnson''s Paint Trophy and having to play the first two rounds of the FA Cup.  Perhaps if we''re seriously struggling financially we could go semi-professional in an effort to reduce the wage bill.  That would, of course, be prudent in the long term as it would put us on a strong footing for when we end up in the Blue Square Conference.
 14.

Someone is actually looking at the real picture with regards to our league position and points tally rather than looking at a few good performances with through rose tinted glasses.
You chose three games we lost to show that Norwich will not stay up, so I replied with three games we won to show we won''t to show how ridiculous your little argument is. Seriously, unless you can predict the future, you can''t say with any certainty that Norwich will go down, so I suggest you shush before t*ssers like me start mocking you. [Y]
Given we have only 13 games left, and given that we are likely to need at least another 18 points to stand any chance of staying up, can you really see us winning 6 more matches?
 15.
We have every right to protest and Dennis is off the mark, and the whole ''they''ll trash your car'' nonsense is just over-zealous security nazis gone mad. But he''s got a point though. Some of you have absolutely delighted in Roeder''s downfall, as you did in Worthy''s. That game against Burnley was the most shameful we''ve ever experienced. There were so many enjoying a proud and once succesful man''s demise. And you''ll keep doing it until we find a manager who gets nothing less than three points from every game. Roeder didn''t insult you, he didn''t tell you your mother was a w*ore, he quite rightly questioned why most of the idiots at the AGM were still crying over Huckerby when there were far more important things they should have been discussing (like taking the board to task? Oh, forgot about that small matter, did we?) But those of you with nothing better to do in your lives think that being nasty is constructive because you''re a ''fan''. Disgraceful.
Disgraceful?  Just what is disgraceful???  Had he been remotely successful I don''t think any of us would have "delighted in Roeder''s downfall".  Then fact is his results over the last 12 months had been truly appalling and the Charlton match was the final straw for many of us.  As for the Worthy business, the Burnley game was not "the most shameful we''ve ever experienceed" but the performance on the pitch perhaps was!  Norwich supporters are some of the most placid and forgiving in the country and things have to get pretty bad before there''s any show of dissent so don''t start criticising the long-suffering fans for the ongoing decline of our once great club.
 16.

she calls herself a fan , she has made no coment at all , not even anything to the fans , regarding this poor show of a team we have. im pretty sure most chairman , of any club would be spitting feathers by now .
To be fair, she is not the Chairman of the club.  She is one of two majority shareholders.
Come to that, when do we ever hear anything from the Chairman?
 17. All this talk of "us" and "we".  But it wouldn'' t be "us" and "we" would it?  It would be a totally new and different club.  It wouldn''t be NCFC.  Just look at Milton Keynes.  How many of the original Wimbledon supporters still have any alliegance to MK Dons?  If you want an organisation that might be more viable financially in the long run then perhaps it''s an answer but if you go down that route then you have to accept that it would mean the utter destruction of our club in every respect.
 18.
foir significant periods of the game it looked like forest where hanging on by there fingernails
Sorry, must have missed that.
 19.
we will never gain any stability at this club if we sack a manager every 12 months - Norwich Fans yesterday instead of trying to help ther team through the match by cheering them on decided to boo every time a pass went way-ward  or shot slightly over as if Chelsea or man Utd never do that 10 times a game expectations are too high around the club and we will for the next few seasons be looking to survive or get a lucky break that we did with worthy the fact is our defesne was the issue again today with doc covering the whole back line
Our club is heading back to the depths of the 3rd division that I thought we''d left behind 50 years ago.  What do you mean "expectations are too high"????  Currently I''d be happy to accept mid-table mediocrity rather than the current rubbish.  Are my expectations too high?  I''d like us to actually own our squad rather than paying out wasted money on loans.  Are my expectations too high?  I''d like us to have just a bit of consistency on the pitch rather than the current "win one, lose the next 2".  Are my expectations too high?  I''d actually like us to be in a position to challenge for promotion.  Do you really think my expectations are too high?  I''d like a bit of leadership and direction from the Board.  Are my expectations too high?  We have crowds that are the envy of most in this division and yet we are still best part of £20 million in debt. This can''t go on and change must happen.  How you expect supporters to just sit there and happily "cheer on the boys" when they are playing appallingly and losing at home (yet again) to one of the worst teams in the league is beyond me.  In fact I think the crowd have been remarkably patient so far.  No, I really think it''s time that people really started to voice their displeasure at the way our club is going down the pan.
 20.
if we where 3 up people would still boo as the football wasn''t good enough for them if you looked at yesterdays stats you would see that we actually performed reasonably well
If you were at the match then you would have seen that we actually performed reasonably appallingly!
 21. The booing and "what a load of rubbish" yesterday didn''t start until the half-time whistle and was, in my opinion, absolutely deserved and frankly I''m amazed at the tolerance that has been shown.  Just how bad do you think things have to get before you think supporters would be entitled to voice their concern? Oh, and just to make it clear to all of the "newer" supporters on here, we are on the verge of relegation to the 3rd division which is precisely where we dragged ourselves from almost 50 years ago. Forget all of this rebranding rubbish - the 3rd division is what it actually is.  Our club is in the worst position it''s been in for half a century.
 22.

Quite surprised at the amount of hostility being directed at the OP.  Is it because people consider the whole concept of a "protest" to be wrong (if so, why?) or is it because you think the OP is on a wind-up?  If it''s neither of the above then is it because the majority of those who have responded to the OP are happy and content with the current state of the Club?  Personally I agree that we are on the verge of being in as bad a state as we''ve been in half a century (relegation back to 3rd division highly possible, finances in an appalling state and we only own half of the squad) so if someone can''t protest now without being ridiculed then when on earth can they?
It''s 100% wind-up, but I''ll be in the Coach before today''s game so if it is not then I will be the first to apologise.
You may well be right and personally I think any "protest" would be a futile gesture anyway (voting at the Club''s AGM is about my limit).  No, I was just wondering why there was such antagonism directed towards the original poster.

 24.
If Curo does go he deserves a hero''s send off.
Yes. Open-top bus, reception at City Hall, statue outside Carrow Road, public holiday, free winter fuel bills for the elderly (including Wiz) etc etc.
