1. No.  Very good and loyal for us.  Still have a massive amount of respect for him and everything he achieved as a PLAYER. Ok his managerial career for us failed miserably.  But he did what he believed was right and I am sure he tried his best to make it work.  The fact he couldnt cut it as a manager should not detract from the wonderful memories he gave us as a player.
2.

Bolton just posted a loss of £34.5 million. Man Utd posted a loss of £83.6 million. Man City posted a loss of £92.6 million. Spurs just posted £7 million pound loss. Hull are bust. Portsmouth are bust. Liverpool nearly went into administration. Can I just ask - why on earth do people still believe that getting to the premiership is worth taking a massive risk for?
what we need is a phoenix league.. leave the premiership to die and a nother league to be set up and put the nail in the coffin
That really isn''t such a bad idea you know.  Unfortunately without at least one team the size of a Manchester United or Liverpool it would be doomed to failure.  The premier league generates so much cash because it is marketable WORLDWIDE.  Without at least one of these massive teams you have nothing to market.  That aside.  It would help to take football back to the realistic levels of 20 or so years ago when transfer fees were realistic along with stadium entry prices.  There would also be a good few players who would play and make the league interesting.  Do we really need big money to have enjoyable football.  I dont find £28-£32 a match day ticket particularly fun, especially when we play rubbish.  I think the Bundesliga, and particularly Shalke is a very good model to follow.
3. I think if Glen Roeder hadn''t killed the loan system for us then a couple of likely lads from the prem would have really helped.
4. Fortune favours the brave.  I bet if we look through history there are thousands of brave sould who havent got a pot to piddle in.  For every thousand people who gamble there will probably be only a small number who experience success, the rest are left rueing their mistakes and bad luck. Its an age old saying but I think in modern football slow and steady is definately the way to go forward.  And to those people who don''t reckon we have got any assets.  I personally think Korey Smith and Chris Martins stock is growing on a daily basis.  And finally the academy looks like it will do something...
5. Better than Adrian Coote, but not much. Cant get either of the right sided players or the other striker...
6. Left winger was easiest of the lot, quality for us, career ended too soon.
7. Can I just remind people that WBA lost 7 times last season on their way to automatic promotion, Nottingham Forest 11 on their way to a very respectable 3rd and Blackpool 14 times. Its very early doors and we wont win every game, its just not realistic. I can see that we have started the season brightly. We are playing some nice stuff but have shown a little niaivety at times. We can only grow stronger and get better. There will be plenty more defeats for sure, but also plenty more wins. Play off contenders? for sure. Mid table safety, absolutely guaranteed.
8. I was at a wedding that day and remember sitting at the back for the service with my earphone firmly in place. Celebrated hard that night, what a great result. Fantastic memories of those days. Little old Norwich and our team of cast offs flying high.... Will never happen again unfortunately...
9. My missus thinks I am stupid, gullible and finacially inept!!! Can''t wait to see her face when I tell her I have won the Nigerian lottery!!
10. I think the new look back 4 looks nervous, that nervousness is obviously contagious as Ruddy doesnt look confident. I think once everyone gets used to each other then Ruddy will grow. To be fair, were any of us really convinced about Fraser Forster this early in the season.
11. I think Jackson could turn out to be the bargain of the season. I rate him quite highly and personally, I am delighted that we have signed him.
12. A years loan certainly didn''t do Chris Martin any harm. Good move...
13. I hate Clinton Morrison so much that I would stop supporting Norwich if we signed him!! (Maybe a smidge too far with that statement, but it paints a pretty good picture of how much I dislike Morrison). Simeon Jackson on the other hand is class and I think has real potential. He may even end up being prem class after a season or 2 with better players in a better league. I liken him to a polished and battle ready Oli Johnson. Would be a very good signing in my opinion....
14. Francomb right back for me, you need to start playing them at some point otherwise whats the point. I would rather have 2 strikers, a direct replacement for Grant Holt and a skillful pacy front man. An established Oli Johnson if you like. Also wouldnt rule out a loan from the prem. Maybe a promising youngster of some description. I know Roeder killed the idea of the loan system form some, but to not use it at all is missing a trick in my opinion.
15. I think Forster did well enough last season to make Newcastle believe they can charge a premium for his services this coming season. Ruddy was very highly rated as a youngster so perhaps a decent alternative. 6''4" so he is a big lad too...
16. I agree, Rusty has been a good servant to us, despite his wanting to leave last summer. We cannot afford to be held ransom every season by someone like him, he isn''t that good. Plus in Crofts, Smith, Hughes, Gill and even Tudor-Jones we have adequate cover.
17. I have always believed that Delia wants nothing but the very best for Norwich City. She has made some crap decisions and some terrible mistakes. But none of that has ever meant she didnt have a heart in the right place. I think the difference is that we have proper football people running the club now.
18. Theres the right back and extra winger we all crave. Just Lloyd Sam for the right wing, Fraser for goal and Jackson up front and championship here we come. How nice is it to have the feel good factor back at the club.
19. CTID I am not slating the original poster its his call. I personally wouldnt as I dont think its very fair on the baby. If they sleep the full 90 no problem. However if they wake with the noise and become frightened/disorientated then it isn''t nice for the baby. If the people want a family day out then pick something else to do. There will be plenty of time for the OP to enjoy days out at the footy with his boy/girl. My sons become absolutely football mad almost overnight so well looking forward to seeing a few matches.
20. Are you being serious? 2 or 3 months old is no age for a child to be at a football match. Friendly or not. I remember going to a match once and seeing a bloke with a baby. He spent the whole 90 minutes in the bar area with the child screaming. Too many people and too loud, the poor little sod will be terrified. My boy was 4 when I first took him, he still hated it. He is nearly 8 now and well up for a few matches. My advice would be no. But its your call.
21. Yes please. Very good winger, obviously ambitious and would probably just use us a stepping stone. I dont have a problem with that.
