1.

So it''s goodbye...
If you want me to post what I hear I will
Or maybe it''s just a sympathy thread.
No Nick not at all, I am just telling you how it is, and giving people the chance to keep Gordon alive if they want. I am a regular poster on here any way so it makes no odds to me, I just can''t post what I do as Gordon under my normal name
RIP Gordon
 2. Why couldnt they have forseen the calamity under Grant? Most of us could!
 3.
Delia Smith and MWJ became majority shareholders in 1997-98. The club finished 15th in the Championship and the average attendance was 14,445. Last season the team finished 16th - one place worse than in 1997-98 but the average crowd was 24,527 - more than 10,000 higher. Delia and Co have done a brilliant job to achieve that. They can''t do much about what happens on the pitch other than appoint/sack managers and give them a competitive budget. I''m stunned by the lack of respect shown towards Delia and Co. on this forum. They are fans too so why can''t everyone be polite about them and show some respect?
Lets be fair to them. They have done there best but now everything has gone stale. It is time for them to move over and let someone else hold the reigns!
 4.
I challenge everyone on here to go and watch the youth team this season, I see a lot of comments on here about the youngsters but I always wonder how many of you have actually seen the boys play. This will be the 6th season for me and I have seen boys given contracts that deserve them and others released that have amazed me, also seen boys given contracts that have made me wonder what is going on and then a year later they are released. I wonder how many of you that have watched the team over the last few years would have given contracts to the the boys that got contracts this year, who do you think will shine this season?
Im sure theres a large amount of posters on here who dont even watch the first team regulary, let alone the youth!
 5.
I was just wondering why Norwich are one of very few teams who insist on fleecing their fans by the away kit only being valid for 1 season? First the red kit (which maybe I can understand due to sponsor issues etc..) But now being told the black Aviva kit will only be valid until the end of 08/09 season takes the **** just a little bit. Any ideas as to why the fans deserve this?
The only people being ripped off are the people who keep buying them every season!
 6. From what i can remember it was a good job we had a skinfull of beers before the game. Although the atmosphere was great and it was a great day out the actual game was a pretty low key event! But we won which was the main thing!
 7.
Hello All First day on this forum, at work so need something to help me get through the day, since they''ve taken Skysports.com away! So my view on the current situation is a very divided one. I have read many views on this page that i agree with, i am unsure  as to what the season is to hold for us. I''m not sure if im excited or worried! The fact that everyone is getting very anxious with the lack of signings made i was wondering if you were in charge at the moment and were given lets say £3.5 million not knowing what Roeder has, who would you buy? Including the 3 or 4 loanees you could have a dab at? Lets face it. If anyone on this message board, including myself was manager the club would be doomed!
8. Great post,it kept the missis and kids entertained for hours!
 9.
for £66!  a hefty price i know but i doubt theres many of these knocking about, wanted the home shirt but cant seem to find one...  Will wear it next season as im not getting the new shirt. i have found a prototype of the home shirt at an old footy shirts website but they want £100 for it.. money trees dont grow in my garden sadly. jas :)
A horid shirt imo,but hey each to there own! Always reminded me of those pacers sweets,if thats what you call them...
 10.
I am constantly amazed at how people can judge a player when they''ve probably not even heard of him, let alone seen him play...
Doesnt that work both ways?
 11.
A friend of mine works for a car dealer in the city who sponsor Gunnys car, Gunny was supposed to be making an appearance on their stand at the Norfolk Show today but said he could not make it as he has a Player coming down for talks..... Could this be Alan Gow ref the other thread?? MM
Oh geeeeeez another scottish footballer! Didint we learn anything from Grants jock flops?
 12.

Guinea pigs and rabbits can''t sweat.   Bit of trivia to releive the boredom this lunch-time.
And guinea pigs can''t be sick either.  Guinea pig pets this end.
But Hamsters can be sick........Just spin them round in one of those plastic balls a few times and bobs your uncle...
 13.
The reason I ask is because this message board is pretty much evenly divided, there seems to be three ways us supporters are veering towards. Glenn provided us safety last term, beyond most of our expectations, he hardly broke the bank to do it, and he seems to have a good long term vision for our Club starting from this pre-season. Yes, the Huckerby saga was a mistake in a lot of people''s minds, mine included, but I also believe that he wouldn''t have taken such a risk had he not something up his sleeve to replace or dare I say it better Hucks. We''re being linked with various players, some good, some that will cause opinions to clash, but I can put my hand on my heart and say I trust Glenn a hell of a lot more than I did with Peter Grant and signings, and a few before him, I think he knows what he''s doing. So what corner are you in? 1) Backing Roeder to make the right moves and a firm believer that he will benefit NCFC; 2) A believer that what Glenn is and has been doing is wrong and cannot be good for the club or; 3) Completely undecided at this stage. As you might have guessed, I''m a number one, no I haven''t got my head up my arse, I think he''s going to be able to pull this off, he seems to be confident in what he does and 20,000 supporters wouldnt have renewed their season tickets if they didn''t think similarly.
My confidence in Roeder was low when he came in and will remain that way until i see how his team rebuilding goes and also the teams performance and results. It really is to early to tell, but going on last season.................dont hold your breath!
 14. Ross Roeder? Naaaaa that doesnt sound right!

 17.
am i the only one on here who doesn''t have a source to tip them off on transfers. I''ve taken to hiding in the wheely bins at colney, to get a scoop. talking of inside men, how are jim magilton and david sheepshanks?
No inside man for me either....

 19.

For me it has to be the 4-1 kicking we gave the Dutch in Euro 96!
Thankfully we didn''t qualify for the Euro''s, we would be absolutely slammed by Holland,Russia,Croatia etc etc.
We might have stood a chance against greece but everyone else would make us look less than average!
 20. For me it has to be the 4-1 kicking we gave the Dutch in Euro 96!
 21.
If We Had Unlimited MoneyFor One Signing Who Would Be The Person You Would Sign??? Mine Would Be Fernando Torres... Whats Everyone Elses???
I would get the Honey Monster
 22.
I''m sitting here watching a very boring game and was thinking who would be or who is your favorite commentating duo is. You can have radio, BBC, Sky or ITV. Setanta are pants. I would have Mike Ingham from radio 5 and as the co commentater would be Graham Taylor. I like him and he is straight talking, unlike Lawro, who should be banned. I also heard old ugly one Keown and thought he was decent. So who would you have?
Roy Waller!
