The problem with the views of fans on that Wolves forum is they have seen him play 15 times in the PL for them. On the other side, Saints fans rave about him after seeing him play over 100 games in the Championship. Perhaps we could sell him back to Wolves next season when we swap divisions.

I hate Gary Birtles. The guy who does football league games for sky. Just something about the way he speaks about players and teams just really annoys me and he just seemed to slate our players all the time last season.

Just seen his car parked in the holiday inn car park. Only concerning thing was he was double parked over a disabled spot which doesn''t bode well. Daniel Nardiello, Hameur Bouazza, Al Bangura, Danny Mitchley and Joe Martin have all been handed free transfers by the club, who beat Cardiff 3-2 in the Championship play-off final on Saturday. Wouldn''t mind Bouazza. Thought he did really well for them this season and surprised he is being let go but I guess they are moving onto bigger and better. Anybody else rate him?
