  1. So it's not just a Danish connection it is actually a returning to his youth coach who made him the player he is connection...
  2. Why was it clearly long term frustration? He was frustrated over a specific thing (us not letting him go and rejoin Lambert to villa) and was expressing that. Even though it lead to a bit of short term resentment he obviously loved the club again when he left... Just to add, surely as this has no obvious trigger event that might spoil his opinion of the club (other than the chance of getting laid) this shows more disdain for the club than Wes did?
  3. Shows the power of being on a network of clubs, sign a player still to develop and you can send him to the club your wife owns who just happen to be regulars in Europe ..
  4. This would be the same owner who has repeatedly been accused of being involved in match fixing, intimidation of officials and a litany of other extremely dodgy business practices outside of football that wouldn't put a mafia boss to shame? My forest supporting mate certainly doesn't embrace him and my understanding is that isn't uncommon among their fan base...
  5. It's not quite though, is it? Liverpool FC are in no position to start policing the internet so they are doing what is within their power. Even the police are in no position to start policing the internet, they just step in when something happens that is so egregious they're needed. A lot of the low level trolling will come nowhere near their threshold yet can still do serious damage to a person's mental health.
  6. Shhh you weren't meant to look at that column....
  7. Thing is though, we aren't. On a PPG basis we are 17th as well. Those teams need to do better in their games in hand than they have in the games they have played for it to be a false position... https://www.soccerstats.com/table.asp?league=england&tid=10
  8. Those are remarkably consistent W/D/L ratios across all his premiership jobs. No standouts but good consistency... Let's hope Watford is an outlier!
  9. Yeah, for the decent ones, most of the cheap ones don't have GPS built in so there's no way to enforce any of that...
  10. Var could work, if it was implemented properly. I said before it was brought in the way it should be done was have it able to just call back play for 30 seconds max. If no decision in that time then it obviously isn't a clear decision. The other potential option is challenge flags like in NFL/cricket though that would be less successful as those games stop repeatedly at shirt intervals anyway and you would get frivolous appeals just to break up good opportunities for the opposition...
  11. Funny you should choose the last 9 games, especially since over the last 8 games we have double the points of Brentford... You're right, perception is a weird thing...
  12. Those odds are surprising, but, markets are mostly money driven so there's obviously still more money going on us than them...
  13. That it they hadn't been ogd would have gone to a Norwich player to bury into a gaping goal...
  14. Even if it was that way around I wouldn't say he screwed us over, given the opportunity to train with Man city at that age as a keeper would be a fool not to...
  15. I thought she deleted her account after her previous itk proclamations proving that she wasn't....
  16. I always felt it was the other way round and that dad was given the job as a way of getting the son up there...
  17. Sorry, yes my mistake, 4 from draws, but Burnley and Newcastle have got 9 and 8 points from draws. We are only 2 wins fewer than Southampton and crystal palace, if we had turned a couple of our close loses into draws then we would be put of the relegation zone and I would say (though am happy to be corrected) that there have been more close loses that we deserved a point from than dominant draws we could have turned into wins...
  18. Our problem hasn't been getting points from wins, it's only having 1 point from draws...
  19. Just playing devil's advocate here, but, for those saying we should roll the dice and try to buy someone, you're advocating gambling x million pounds that the one or two people will help us stay up. Why is that a better option than rolling the dice and gambling that the players we have already got who are coming back from injury and have now had a chance to aclimatise to the team and the league won't be able to keep us up? Any new players will need a.settling in period which is going to potentially mean one step backwards for hopefully 2 forwards or we sign them and then don't play them for a month by which the.the current crop would have either done enough to show we still have hope or left us to far adrift for a new signing to make a tangible difference... As i posted in another thread, our form over the last ten games is enough to see us staying up, add to that players coming back and we should have a much stronger second half of the season. Will it be enough? I don't know, but, if we stick with the players we have it won't be the end of the world...
  20. The keyboard player from the fookin charlatans?
  21. Come on, I know you like your hyperbole, but, it even says in that article that they're the first team in 88 years since Chester did it in 33-34... Still an incredible achievement mind.
  22. Nice to see you're being positive today... Since Dean Smith took over there are actually 4 teams worse than us and 2 that are as bad as us (on total points scored, on a PPG basis Leicester are far better). Granted we started from a lower base, but at the current rate we would stay up... 10 Southampton 11 3 4 4 16:21 -5 13 11 Crystal Palace 11 3 3 5 17:17 0 12 12 Brighton 10 2 6 2 10:10 0 12 13 Leeds 10 3 3 4 14:22 -8 12 14 Leicester 8 3 2 3 16:16 0 11 15 Brentford 11 3 2 6 12:21 -9 11 16 Norwich 11 3 2 6 7:20 -13 11 17 Newcastle 10 1 5 4 9:20 -11 8 18 Everton 9 1 2 6 8:18 -10 5 19 Burnley 7 0 4 3 6:11 -5 4 20 Watford 9 1 1 7 11:19 -8 4
