Over the recent promotions and relegations in recent years, it has been very obvious to me that there is no way this could continue. it seems to me that has been Webbers game plan all along. Perhaps that was the task he was set by the owners. I think perhaps it’s time, we realised, with the current business model in place, where we are now tenth is where we will stay . You can change the managers as often as you like, but as long as our business model only allow us to buy cheap and sell high, there is very little they can do. Its only when we look back what a miraculous job Farke did under those conditions.

Short memory, I seem to recall that Krull in his first season was very poor indeed. May have still be in recovery after his awful injury, but the fact remains he was poor at that time.

Aarons embarrassing us again..

Needs to watch Grealish to master this art properly! -
Could this be BETTER than Farkeball?

I very much doubt if we will ever see the quality of football we saw during our Champs campaigns under DF. In 60 years of supporting Norwich, apart from the early days of the PL era and Stringer and Walker years. It's hard to think that in more recent years which have given us more excitement and quality. Paul Lamberts unforgettable years or Daniel Farke. -
Yet another example of money wasted on a player with a poor scoring record.

Let look at facts, we have several goes at staying in the PL. All to no avail. This club from top to bottom needs a massive revamp, but even then we would not cut it up there. Even since our fleeting visit last season spending on transfer fees have just gone up once agaionn' The American Manager at Leeds said it is out of control, there should be a cap. But we all know that will never happen. So in the meantime we will plod on. Webber will hold himself in high esteem . If he gets this appointment wrong, having sacked two of the managers he himself selected..........

It will need a miracle to salvage anything from this season now. It seems that , as I speak, 10th in the Championship is about right, considering the awful displays this year. It was a pipe dream to ever think of promotion this season, don’t think anyone has done that three time in succession.

Because his wife is on the board. if you are the one who does the recruiting of staff, if your candidate fails, then you are partly to blame. time to look in the mirror Mr Webber.

Best squad ? Worst manager?

Answer to your headline, no and no. in your wildest dreams you can’t ever think this is our best squad. Or our worst manager…….there quite a list to chose from. -
Would you have Gerrard?
Bradwell canary replied to TeemuVanBasten's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Fact is, he would never come here. -
Completed by Gibson, shame they were all to Gunn!

Hope he does not get too upset if no one gets him a birthday cake, like they did at Man City. Or was that his brother? -
Sarg was ignored by teammates

What a funny old game it is. Such nice comments about Sargent on here. Last year at this time he was getting some comments far removed from the present feelings towards him. I’m one of the guilty ones. So what has bought about this massive change? Playing in the Champ instead of the PL? Manager getting more out of him,? Playing in a more central position?. I am pleased he has turned it around, as before no one ever worked so hard, for so little reward. -
Fact is we are sitting number five in a play off position. Our manager is not popular according to the local press, and comments on this board. But three of the related sides are in the top six, So is the manager doing such a bad job? or are expectation just too high? We are not watching the flowing football we were used to under Farke, and are grinding out some results, so should we wait until more toward the seasons end before we judge him.

He will never be dropped that’s for sure. I can’t never understand what he brings to the team.

Credit to Angus Gunn

There has been many lapses by Gibson this season, some directly leading to goals. -
Aarons Rumor/news

Let’s face it. If Webber in the past could have got some of the transfer fee quoted in the past season……he would have been sold -
I agree with your comments about Aaron.does not seem anywhere the player he was. Now he is alway looking to pass the ball backwards. Who knows if he is instructed not to make the forward attacking runs.
-
It seems to me that Krull often put us in danger, trying something that he did not have the ability to execute. Very few keepers have. But since Gunn has taken his place we seem to be going far more direct. Must be that Smith has directed him to do this. Which do fans here prefer, as both have some merit.

Chelsea talking to Webber

Well he did spot Maddison for us! -
Totally agree with the post. Far too many mistakes this season. As you said any other player making the same mistake would be dropped, well almost apart from the Mayor.

If We Go Up - Transfer Strategy

Even if we go up, we will still sell our best player. It’s in our DNA.
