I’d say one of the best. One of the few genuine Prem Refs - only dropped down to Chumps twice last year . Did Liverpool three times in the prem and the scousers lost 1, 2 draws Inc losing to Southampton . Assume they don’t like him because he didn’t give them every decision like most do.

Has anyone seen an advert for Sky Bet ? Jeff Stelling and co telling about special offers . But During the advert , a lady goalkeeper catches a yellow and green flower , and she is wearing a yellow and green tracksuit . She appears to be saying “I hope we avoid the drop” which I assume is meant to be a reference to us . However The accent used for “I hope we avoid the drop” is , I would hazard a guess somewhere west of Bristol! Why do all tv folk think they can use some kind of generic rural accent ? Us East Anglian’s don’t all sound like we come from Zummmersett do we?

Agreed. All clubs should have a third kit like this - a perfect vehicle for those that wish to make a statement . Instead we get an orange shirt - which can’t be worn against Wolves - one of only two clubs we clash against, and even then (presumably) we have to change the shorts of our second kit? Hats off to Southampton - a great statement and great fun too.

Some interesting points Wolfie. My two Penneth. where people gather with a common interest on social media , there are commercial opportunities. Archant would know More than most how lucrative that may be. I’ve no idea . The most obvious is advertising revenue . A secondary benefit for Archant is information - I imagine a few posts on here end up as stories, or contribution to a piece . So , as you have, Archant are a good place to start . Also (and I say this with a tin hat on) there are constant threads on here from TWTD’s - now I don’t go on there save following a few links - but it seems free of links to any one media outlet ? I may be wrong . GDPR - any data from which a person can be identified is classed as personal data. The record Archant have for me would easily identify me . Mir doesn’t have to be bank accounts etc . I would say someone would see an opportunity here to build a website , and make a few quid ? Personally I wouldn’t go down the collective ownership- I don’t think you would have to.
