1.

Funny, isn''t it, how the ones who think that they know most about football have no experience of playing at a credible level.
Like Jose Mourinho you mean?[;)] I have always been a shocking footballer (best position in goal 5/6 a side but never good) most often left out (sorry left back) bespite picking up a winners medal or two at the lowest of levels of yoof football decades ago. A such I have no credible level to fall back on (In fact so poor a player I have more appearances as sunday league lino than I do as a registered amateur footballer!)   However I feel that I am capable of reasonable analysis of a teams strengths and weaknesses and how they can be addressed,  recognising tactical issues and solutions in match time,  not just after the event.   I do not profess to be able to know how to convey those  required changes to footballers.   This feels like the start of another worthless debate;   first the pointless "true" supporter debate,  now the "credible" fan debate[:$]   well, in that case the surely the only true and credible fans are those that agree with my opinions [;)][:D][*-)][:P]
Like it - LOL!
 2.

Thank god for that... hopefully his Doctor has told him that he is too fat and that he can never play football again? Otherwise Gunn & Co will no doubt have him here out of desperation and he will be heralded by the may thick supporters our club has as the guy who is going to bang in 20+ and lead us to the 3rd Division championship while the applaud like seals for two months before finding out that what a few have been syaing is actually true and that he is utter $hee. hite... [:$]
you clearly never saw alan Lee in a Norwich shirt did you.. perhaps next time try entering Carrow Road instead of getting a shiny head in the rain.. must make the brain cold... jas :)
LOL!
 3.
Good to hear there are some players on here!! I just play Sunday football now but i''d say my career high was playing for Norfolk FA at Under 18''s.  I also played a few games for Norwich United and got paid but now I just enjoy the social level!! I''d really like to hear what level some of the more opinionated posters on here have played at.... Although to be honest it''s nice to see some less regular posters like myself replying to this post as it makes a peasant change from the usual arguments!!
Funny, isn''t it, how the ones who think that they know most about football have no experience of playing at a credible level.
 4. Played in what used to be known as the Southern League, now Blue Square South, I think.
 5.
Just heard from my mate that Hoolahan will be sold this week coming i personally think its bull but thought id pass it on
And your mate is someone who has sources close to the club, I take it? If not, why waste everyone''s time in posting such cr*p?
 6.
That''s what all this media coverage is about, not to mention the well timed CBE (courtesy of Charles Clarke MP or I''m a banana).  It''s both a face saving exercise and a signal that she is about to become a figurehead at Carrow Road.  She''s not leaving but she''s handing over effective control to new board members (quite possibly Cullum''s people but not the man himself) who will be announced next week after Delia''s had her moment. I have no inside info so don''t take it as gospel, but that''s what it smells like to me.  Would be very good news, but what a crying shame it didn''t happen a year ago.
I see. So the Government''s part of some greater plan that involves raising Delia Smith''s profile at Carrow Road. What on earth are you on about? Bizarre!
 7.

Every single team with norwich in its name seems to be useless lmao
Hardly useless.  Colchester play in a ladies division above you and had it not been for U''s keeper you would have won it.
Thank you, Cam. As you say, the Norwich team (who fielded seven U16 players) were by far the better team and it was the Colchester number 9 who saved the game for the U''s - she was excellent, an ex-England apparently And, as a Carra Rudd season ticket holder, I can say without reservation that this was one of the best games played at Carrow Road this season! By the way, what were you doing at the match? Mind you, it felt strange having to pay to see my own daughter play a match!
 8.
Any virgins amongst them? my stocks are getting low.[;)]
Yes, Wiz, my daughter, who played left back for the Norwich team. She''s 16 and not going anywhere near a perv like you!
 9. We usually leave it until late in the summer, so that we don''t have to pay their wages for a couple of months, when there are no games. The only problem with that is that it leaves little time to ''bed'' them in, get them fit and to bond with the rest of the team.
 10.
There''s banter and then there''s just plain stupidity and immaturity Shyster. You must be so proud of that one.
I can''t see Shyster''s comment, so I presume that it was pulled - was it very offensive?
 11. Clingan for me; does the same unsung, but vital, job as Gary Holt did in our Premier promotion season.
 12.
donky = cant do that. delia - yeah sounds good donky - what delia said that?, ok il do it, sounds good. no idea about football or business, i only know law so il find a loop hole.
I think you''ve already sorted the loopy bit.
 13.
It could be that investment/buyers have agreed to splash the cash based on certain criteria (i.e the removal of the current chairman/CEO). Probably not likely to be the case but I can still hope.  It could just be a case of Delia trying to bring the fans onside by dealing the last card she has left - Doncaster/Mumby sacked, blamed for all our problems and used as scapegoats. It could also be a cost cutting exercise. Afterall it''ll save us approx £200k a year for a start, although replacements are still needed so some/most of that will disappear again.
I think that your second option is the one - anything to deflect attention, I should imagine.
 14.
Find another scapegoat for your pain please. I renewed, not because i was wanting to condone the club''s behaviour in any way (i certainly don''t), but because i''m a supporter, a fan, somebody that wants to feel part of cheering City on back to the good times. I don''t turn my back that easily i''m afraid. Its pi$$ poor that you have to keep using US fans as a reason for the board''s mis-management. In fact its an utterly ridiculous and quite frankly insulting notion. Thank you
Well said.
 15.
He''s been released today, what you think? Worth a punt?
Definitely. He won everything in the air against us and held the ball up superbly. He also won them a pen when they played us here.
 16.
I hate all this officious sh*t and the high falluting acronyms, despite all the different names they all seem to contain the same people, who may work hard but obviously get as a much of a kick out of being involved as helping club and supporters. Despite all the protestations it still seems too cosy even if Neil doesn''t like Tilson anymore or whatever. It all seems a load of w*nk to me, I think I''d rather have the guerilla style actions of Smudger being rude to those in charge, Big Feller then reading WH Auden''s Stop the Clocks on the City Hall steps or something, before a group of non members of anything other than supporters of the club march to Carrow Road and hands in a f*ck off Delia petition. Anything other than this non action faction, lick arse not kick arse pseudo official tosh. Please somebody come up with something different and count me in.   Thats what I call speaking from the hip .....top post mate
Yeah, well radical. Yawn.
 17.

the result means that for once the best two sides in Europe will meet in the final.
Fully agree with this sentiment. Cheatski disgraced themselves tonight there was no protesting when Anelka tripped himself up for the sending off and IMO none of the penalty appeals were as clear cut as Souness protested. First one was a small very minor ''foul'' outside the box and I failed to see anything that might have caused the player to collapse so dramatically a few seconds later. Drogba was possibly a victim of his reputation for the second and if he''d stayed on his feet might have made the shirt tugging appear more relevant, the other two were ball to hand and both times the player was turning away from the ball and there was little distance or time to react. Not as nailed on as the pro British commentators might like us to believe. On the other hand the ''foul'' on Anelka was a farce he quite clearly caught his own heel with the other foot and the Ballack, Terry and Drogba abuse of the officials was not pretty. Ballack practically wrapped himself round the ref and screamed abuse, Terry showed the ''inner thug'' once again and Drogbas behaviour was inexcusable both to the ref and the camera. I hope Chelsea are fined and banned from the competition next year, the sight of Drogba pretending he has a head injury to stop the flow of Barcas play sickens me and I''ve had enough of that team. As Branston says the real winner over the two legs was football, as a result Barcelone went through and ''the result means that for once the best two sides in Europe will meet in the final.''
I thought that I didn''t like Chelski, but you are so obviously anti-Chelsea that it''s embarrassing1
 18.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1177629/Norwich-stick-Gunn-Canaries-legend-gets-managers-job-permanent-basis.html Our shambolic, pathetic, clueless, pennyless, idiotic excuse for a board of directors cannot be serious. They are getting some sort of perverted sense of enjoyment out of what they have done to our football club. 13 years of failure (excusing the 03/04 achievement - thanks again Hucks), both on & off the pitch. The club was £6m in debt when Smith bought in & is now around £22m in the red! Now in the 3rd tier for the first time in 50 years - nobody could have seen that coming could they!!!!!!!!. I hope that ALL who brought about the demise of the club in the mid 90''s are now fully satisfied. IN PARTICULAR - ROY BLOWER. Are you in the least bit remorseful Roy? PLEASE TRY AND KEEP US UP NEXT YEAR GUNN.
This is the same Daily Mail that said today that Robins was going to be our new Manager!
 19. Good question. By the way, are you Cadbury''s or Galaxy?
 20.

Jas , Thanks for all your efforts to compile the forum Q & A. My hunch is that Gunn has already the job. Neil Doncaster was unusualy quiet and I suspect it will be his head on the block on wednesday because the board simply have to be seen to be doing something to change the current set up. He will obviously be replaced by another "Yes Man".
Your dam aviator, makes me stare for long periods of time and forget what I am supposed to. But I am in love with her.
Hands off - she''s mine, I tell you!
 21.

It wont work......i went after Reading and was there today where i saw another poor turn out. Judging by todays fans forum people want Gunn to get the job and dont want there ST rebate! A majority of the fans get what they deserve! League 1 football!
As Del Boy would say - Shut Up, you tart! (PS - 1. It''s past your bedtime 2. have you heard of something called an ''apostrophe''?).
Sorry i was eating mum''s turkey twizzler''s and typing at the same time. Is this better for you? You as Del Boy would say, are a complete "plonker!". That''s 2 well thought out post''s by you tonight. Go on......please let the 3rd say Gunny is the man for the job! Ooooooooo i would love a 50-50 tackle with your sort! But then probably a referee judging by your whitty remark''s!
Not a ref, a former player. Someone who actually has been there and knows what they''re talking about. And you wouldn''t have walked away from a 50/50 tackle with me - guaranteed.
Been there? Where? Hethersett Rec? Probably wouldn''t have walked away as i guess our paths would never have crossed. I have never played/YETto play in Junior football [:p]
No, Conference League (or what was it''s equivalent a few years ago). And you?

 23.
Just a quick video I put together that sums up how I feel, as upset and disappointed as I am with the Players, Managers and Board, I can''t deny that I will always follow Norwich and turn up at games to stand by my club. As nice as it would be to just wash my hands of this club, I just couldn''t do it, no matter what crap I have to put up with. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ll9DlGs4yE   Enjoy
Good on yer! However, you realise that you''ll be branded as a ''sheep'' / Board-lover / blind devotee for saying ''Support the Club''?
 24.
OK I need to be careful with this especially after just reading ''ncfcfaithfuls'' post on the players pre and post match antics (unfortunately that''s symptomatic of total lack of leadership and discipline at the club at the moment). At The Valley I was sad that many of the fans turned their frustration on the players from the moment the second goal went in. From then on and into todays papers, on the phone ins and message boards all I hear is how the players ''capitulated'', ''surendered'', ''did;nt give a s--t'' etc. Even RM has savaged the players publicly (conveniently trying to deflect blame from where it truly lies). Of course it was a shocking performance but WHY are you so surprised?? It was a typical NCFC ''away no show'', it''s been a feature of the club for years and years! I saw appalling performances at Villa Park, The Valley and Anfield in the Premiership season , that''s not too mention the abject surrender at Stamford Bridge. More recently we have cringed at Wolves, QPR, Derby, Plymouth, Blackpool..... The list is endless. The 11 who played yesterday were just the unlucky sods who happened to be picked on the last day of this terrible season and who then felt the brunt of the fans fury. I for one don''t buy this ....''they did''nt try'' accusation. For me it was more a case of the team having accepted relegation after Monday night and they went into yesterday with their confidence in tatters. Once the first goal went in the pack of cards collapsed. Lets face it on the radio today both The Cook and ND admitted that they knew we were down before the Charlton match so is it any wonder that the employees (players) felt the same!    ALL that mattered yesterday was the combination results so even if we had stuffed Charlton 3-0 IT WOULD''NT HAVE MATTERED yet you can bet your bottom dollar that had that happened we would have been inundated with clarion calls of ''certain promotion'', ''walking Division One'' and all that drivel. When that second goal went in, Yellow Rider snapped and roared ''Smith Out'' followed by ''SACK THE BOARD'' and if there was anything positve to come from yesterday it was that at long last some fans FINALLY started taking off their green and yellow tinted glasses and woke to the chiling reality of how far this club has fallen under The Cooks leadership.  So if any of you were near Seat 110 in Row H, thanks for supporting me and joining in. ''You''re not fit to wear the shirt'' many of you bellowed. Arguably not but to tar the likes of Doc, Shacks, Lee and Smith with that tag is grossly unfair. What we should have been shouting was ''YOU''RE NOT FIT TO RUN THE CLUB''.  Oh well, that was asking a bit much, may be well get to that next time. Believe me if we leave The Stowmarket Two in charge, NCFC will only continue in one direction and that''s as sure as hell ain''t upwards!!
At the moment, YR, the hurt means that everyone is in the cross-hairs. It would seem, though, that only a few of the players seemed to give a damn, according to the reports.
