Can we afford 'cheap' these days? Pushing the boat out isn't on the agenda these days.

NCFC has a village club mentality. We have become an embarrassment in the eyes of the wider game.

You overlook the great years Chase gave the supporters and the many other players he saw at the club besides Sutton and 'want away' big time Charlie O'Neill. Sutton would have left anyway in due course as he was too good to stay much longer. Delia hasn't been honest about very much from the original 'I saved the club' nonsense her spin machine pumped out. I surprised you have understood that yet.

You can only keep a dirty secret for so long before you get caught out. How she fooled so many for so long is beyond me.

We used to be described in the same mould as West Ham once upon a time and quality talent came to our geographical outpost to be a part it.... now we are a sanctuary for donkeys that no-one else wants.

Did she ever care or was our club just a shop window for her ego? She may have got away with it had she not clung on and made it so patently obvious. Her weak kneed legacy will linger long in the club I'm afraid.

Too many ordinary players under an equally ordinary coach. Expect nothing now without another Grant Holt/Paul Lambert miracle or a Pukki/Buendia/Farke lightning strike coming along. Hapless Smith and Jones have run out of lives and only a fool would believe anything different.

The clear out needs to start at the top as the rot always starts at the head. Don't blame ordinary players with no connection to the club for trying to earn a living.... blame Smith and her hangers on who look down on us fans as a necessary evil.... or at least the apparent 20% of us who have long since sussed out what their cynical game has been. Beware that we may become just another Bolton or Charlton when the 'habit' of going to the footy dies out and the luvvies find another thing to do with the kiddies on a Saturday.

We make our own luck in life. All we are making these days is an utter fool of ourselves.

Being Norwich born and bred I have been embarrassed by how easily so many 'so-called' City fans have been duped into buying into Delia Smith's hobby horse and the shameful disregard of what the club was and who it spiritually belonged to. The reality is that the stands are full of day trippers without any passion for the game or for what Norwich City used to represent as the deep connection with the city has been whitewashed out by a tv cook cynically claiming that somehow we wouoldn't have existed but for her itervention. It took too long for the mugs to smell the coffee and with our rich history of being every neutral's football fan's favourite club we have become a bore and a laughing stock.

Like all women... never happy with the person they are set on and immediately go about trying to change who they are. As usual Smith has managed to ruin what was once something special along with it's submissive, easily mugged fan base.

A proper bloke then.

So that's 4 guaranteed tonkings this season then... Ipswich plus Leeds home and away. Along with the rest I fear.

I think when people see no future they tend to look back with rose coloured spectacles.

Farke won't last the season at Leeds. Nasty club.... nasty fans. Norwich was a one off 'success' for him in English football and he should have stayed in Germany.
