  1. The cost of living didn’t overall rise by 75 percent in October like the so-called “think tank” brigade were scaremongering us with after all.
  2. He’s responsible for all the cr@p that has followed since lockdowns ended.
  3. It’s absolutely scaremongering how they use percentages to show how much each product in supermarkets has gone up, instead of actual pounds and pence. Still, if it was pounds and pence it wouldn’t be as scary to see, the MSM agencies love scaremongering and they live off it as everyone click baits more and watch the news more. Even 5 News have a dedicated “Cost of Living Crisis” segment.
  4. Went to Ground Zero when they were building the freedom tower in 2010. A really errie sight knowing that was exactly the spot where any chance of world peace ended.
  5. At work. One of the supervisors went upstairs to my office to tell me what happened and we just stopped working for the day and turned off all the printing presses and computers. The only thing on except the lights and tea urn for tea break was the radio. We were all sat round it hearing the news as developments came and we hardly ever left our seats. A poignant moment that I won’t ever forget, especially when I came home and saw the tower collapsing for myself on the TV.
  6. Just like Covid, the commercials are constantly referencing this latest bad news media story of the moment.
  7. The worse buzz-phrase to come out of all this is that one about the gate closing after the horse has already bolted all in reference to vaccines. Worse single word has to be “Twindemic”, quickly going to be the next media buzzword that is going to really rial us up.
  8. “Took to Twitter”, one phrase that should be outlawed, alongside “The Magic of the Cup”.
  9. Still really bad and dicing with relegation though.
  10. Our friends who support Swansea say it’s deserved because when in 2013 they wrongly got a goal chalked off against them, some of the West Brom supporters started to do “w@nker” hand shaking gestures at them. Although Swansea won a trophy that season and WBA didn’t, that wasn’t enough for them to be satisfied and let all that abuse be water off a ducks back to them. Personally I think it’s childish of them although they are our friends, as those in that stand doing it towards them were only the minority or 0000.1 percent of their supporters. Overall I think they have a great support and are really welcoming to away fans, especially that really cool pub and restaurant everyone goes to on the way to the matches. Its really sad to see this downfall and ever since they got obsessed with boilers and started ditching Adidas for really second rate shirts, they’ve been ever since a shadow of such a fantastic club and a really likeable one at that as well. Run by typical owners who don’t care for football and appoint managers who have no clue. I never thought if they went down, they would struggle like this, I thought after their relegation a few years ago they would bounce back immediately, but oh no….. they took a fair few years to do it and then went back down again and have got worse and worse. I feel for the supporters who are not abusive to others over cheering goals only to have them chalked off, although that one should have stood.
  11. After seeing the highlights of Man City - Brighton, in which the officials were trying to be mates with Man City, I don’t want to be in this corrupt league anyway. Its a worldwide product and teams like Man City sell it worldwide, if the “Big Six” started to do cr@p, then the worldwide appeal would die as many people in Asia and Africa for example support those teams. It’s like the officials are trying to prevent this from happening by helping them get all the key decisions in their favour. Its still wrong though and it’s always the big teams getting all these aforementioned big decisions, meaning teams like us every season get put onto the back foot and made to suffer. I don’t want this club to be part of such a greedy and corrupt league until it sorts itself out and the officials to their jobs fairly. You don’t see the big teams in rugby get all the special treatment by the officials week in week out on the TMO, unlike in football where the VAR always does.
  12. Have faith, they’ll go and who knows?, on the other hand Sunak might be alright, seeing that he predicted all these things during the leadership contest that would happen if Truss got in, and later they did.
  13. They’ll be gone before then, the noise against them is deafening.
  14. It’s okay, it’s just the footballing gods putting a curse on us after we embarrassed a worldwide sporting brand known as the Premier League for two separate seasons. Derby went through it in which despite all those shots on goal in the 2014 play-off final, the ball refused to go in and QPR scored with their only attempt on target. It was like the footballing gods were punishing them for causing a worldwide embarrassment to the Premier League in 2007-08, now we are getting the same curse.
  15. Probably being selfish thinking “We’ve had our young lives and travelled free around Europe, let’s just vote leave and not care for the next generation”. Albania are doing well and they are not in the EU and have no deal with it, San Marino is the same and has no national debt, so it’s not being in the EU that’s causing this mess, its this nutcase government.
  16. … and three people I work with too, in their late 20s and early 30s, yet it was considered an “older generation” thing.
  17. That’s not a definite though, the economy being shut down for two years co-incided with it, then the war started when lockdowns were easing up, so it’s hard to tell. I blame them lot at No.10 acting as if the country and its economy is some sort of politicians plaything.
  18. The more they keep u-turning and annoying everyone, the better the chances there will be a GE called sooner than planned and we can then get rid of this lot. The poll up there simply proves that they are indeed doing that. The biggest gap since 1997 with any polling company makes damning reading for any Tory voter, as we all know full well what happened that year.
  19. We’ve had our fries. Not going back up, but perhaps we can do without a promotion for once, as there is a good chance that we could go back down and maybe break Derby’s record.
  20. That phrase “It’s the taking part that counts!”. To me it’s utter loser talk, which simply complements turning up to an event which anyone can do. To me it’s all about doing the best to your abilities. Try saying that phrase to the San Marino football team, I bet they are fed up of years of walking onto a football pitch knowing that the next 90 minutes will bring. ”I don’t care I came last!. I’m just glad I took part!”….. what a thing to teach your kids and even though he’s a fictional character Homer Simpson’s “never try” advice is actually better.
  21. Cracker was brilliant, especially the episode with Robert Carlyle as the Liverpool thug. Then there’s Goldeneye, fantastic villain role in that also.
  22. “Solidarity”, they keep saying. Sod em I say, workshy ar$ewipes messing up small businesses!. I work at a place where our clients are elderly and so cannot use a computer to fill in a form, let alone e-mail to send it off. Old fashioned pen to paper and a stamp on an envelope is all they are familiar with when it comes to communication away from the phone and talking to others verbally face to face and it shows; ever since the strikes there is hardly any work on!. They should be ashamed for creating these problems and for simply copycat bandwagon jumping with the train lot and the barristers. I encourage anyone running a small business to turn to the courriers. Just stop sending us back to the 70s and making the 20s the worse decade since the 40s even more so!!!!. It totally annoys me that there are people who rely on these services that support the strikers and keep saying “Solidarity” so many times until the word becomes annoying!. Getting back on topic, I’m glad Martin Lewis has learnt to keep his mouth shut for once. He was dying to start talking his claptrap as soon as this “crisis” began, none of it was helpful and I don’t know anyone who’s saved money by watching his overproduced “Specials” with a ridiculous production budget on ITV. He just keeps shouting down webcams and hasn’t done anything helpful whatsoever. “Crisis”, try using that word in regards to those people in Ukraine, scum media.
  23. …. Which means missing out on attending matches because Sky stuck their noses in, then changing the date and time to one your boss won’t let you have the time off for. We must be the only league in the world with this issue. It’s like 60 years old or whatever, after then Burnley chairman Bob Lord convinced his colleagues at the EFL that showing 3pm games on TV would “damage grass roots football”. Utterly old and out of date rule which should be scrapped, just like Daylight Savings Time.
  24. Destroying places he claims are his. Putin is utterly thick and deluded.
  25. They’re going down for sure. It’s them, Wolves, then one from West Ham, Villa, Palace or Leicester.
