1.
3. why do teams like norwich n wolves need away shirts? i know money etc... but do they actually need them? then again wolves bought navy one out last season wore it once and used their old white away 6times - so why buy the new away kit
Tough question that one... how about when we play each other??
2. The Doc might not be a world beater, but he''s by far the best centre back that we have. You can''t start to compare him and Shacks, Doherty is miles better.
3. I''m sure Tim will reply with more info, but to answer you question we currently have around 250 members. For most home games we have 40 or so who travel together on the 11am from Liverpool St. At £11 return, the deal is too good to miss.
4. Nope, any sell on would be on profit made.
5. It''s not easy fitting seats into a corner like that. Even looking at an empty Wembley upper tier yesterday at the Vase Final, you see odd seats in the corners. In the NU infill at Norwich there are probably 30 seats around the bottom row and 50 at the top. You''ve got to add in extra seats as you go back.
6. Roeder, but having had the chance to say fairwell to Hucks
7. Following Roeder''s comments that he has known for "weeks and months" as to who was leaving etc., I think it''s a very bad move by the club not to announce this prior to the last couple of games. I think most fans can accept that his time may have come, but to have no proper opportunity to say goodbye is a disgrace in my opinion. Dion''s been a good servant to this club for 18 months, but for supporters of my generation, slightly too young to fully appreciate the days of European football, Hucks has been by fair the most instrumental player and his departure totally overshadows that of Dion for what he has brought to this club.
8. The Doc is very solid, gets his head on the end of things and I think he''s had another good season. He''s not paid to play fancy balls out of defence, his job is to defend and in general he''s done that well this season.
9. I can''t believe people are so upset by Aviva''s actions, it''s what happens in business. If we''d gone into administration and had a loan from any bank they''d have agreed a similar payment scheme. For Aviva it was take what you could get, something is better than nothing.
10. I can see us starting the season with a couple of season long loans. Hopefully one will be Bertrand, out of contention at Chelsea but one they want to hold on to. I could also see someone like Pearce coming back for another full season, and obviously I''d like to see Ched too, but think we''d have to be looking to sign him instead of another loan deal.
11. We have one of the most accessible boards in the football league. How many other clubs have supporters roadshows attended by their board, or the entire board turning up at a supporters clubs AGM for a Q&A session.   At the end of the day, football is a hard business. Unless you are right at the top it’s a mugs game and a lot more money has to go in to what comes out. In the Turner’s we have fans who also have money. I’ve got faith that this money shall be put to good use this summer as we now have a manager in charge who the board trust 100%, I’m not sure you could say the same about Mr Grant this time last season.
12.
Anyone know how much this deal is worth please? Presume NU have had a guilty conscience after saving them down the road?
Companies the size of AVIVA don''t have guilty consciences. My view is this is purely to provide some positive news on the day they announce the famous Norwich Union brand is to be no more.
13. News story and video of the new kit on the official site http://www.canaries.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~1300844,00.html
14. No, it''s not on TV. The problem is this game is of little interest to those outside of East Anglia, and with the Police forcing an early k/o on a Sunday, Sky are not going to move their regular 1:30pm Premiership match just to show our derby.
15. It was nowhere near full for the Norwich game either, and they were only charging £6 for a ticket that day too! I listened to some of this game on radio5 driving home last night and apparently Palace only took about 200 for the game.
16.
The score boards irratate me the most.. we didnt need to replace the old ones... they cost 1 million pounds each! thats 2 strikers... how come the club can afford to allocate funds for a bunch of bulbs in a plastic casing yet cant afford to fund Roeder?
It''s very easy to loan money from banks for stadium improvements, but you''ve not got a chance if you want money for players. That £2m (if they really did cost that much) would never have been available for players.
17. ''we will probably be losing up to 15 players in the new season, including the six loans'' so that not 21? Whilst I''m pleased you can add 15 and 6 to make 21, surely the word including would suggest it''s more a case of 9 + 6!
18. Martin would be an obvious one to add to the list of "maybes"...
19. Think you''re a little harsh on Croft, he didn''t do anything in the first half as City never got the ball to him. A few times he was available wide right but we tried to play through the middle.
20. The fact that Norwich had a reserve game to play answers your own question surely?
21. We always drink in the city centre then get cabs out to the ground
22. Think we must have been the lucky ones at Leicester... Arrived about noon on the train from London. Walked straight off the station and to a nice local pub halfway to the ground. Had a few beers and some food, a good chat with some locals, and then made our way to the game. We had seats in the smaller area behind the goal next to the Leicester family area. Had some good banter with the parents (and kids too), and it was no different to any other away game. After the game walked back to the station, no sign of trouble, and on the 6pm train back to London. Finished off the day drinking with Huddersfield fans before they caught their train back north after their trip to Chelsea. It was just like any other away trip to me, just one closer to home than most!
23. I''m not sure if this is generally known or not, but I see no reason why it can''t be in the public domain. I was talking to an ex City player and manager at the weekend and it was told that Sutton was on the verge of leaving City for Man Utd in a £4M + Dion Dublin deal just before Dion broke his leg. This ended the deal, and Sutton went to Blackburn as we all know for £5M. I wonder what impact Dion would have had at City then, and whether he''d still be here now if we''d have signed him back in the mid 90s!
24. I believe that conversion into a ''window loan'' must be made today though
25. Can''t think of his name, was it Huckersomething? Didn''t we have him on loan to start with then sign him? We''re taking a couple of young lads who are not quite up to the standards of the Premiership. If all goes well, they play more games than they miss, they like the club and what we can offer, there''s no reason why we can''t sign them in the summer.
