1. Seems pretty obvious to most of us I think.   The club has reasonably deduced that anyone who has left it this late to decide whether to renew or not has been waiting to see if we are playing premiership football or not. You seem to be having a moan that you wanted to wait to confirm our promotion first and then expected to buy the ticket at Championship prices. The club in the meantime activated its clause allowing a price increase because the product on sale has now changed considerably and hence a price rise is justified.   The rest of us had already pinned our colours to the mask and have reeped the benefit of that leap of faith.
 2. ????? said - im a bit younger can hardly remember him play, just being the sheriff wtf, charging people to play golf with him and getting us relegated, oh yeah and losing 7-1   Just cos you''re too young to remember him play dosen''t mean it didn''t happen. The world didn''t start or end with you.
 3.
It is no surprise to me that ever since Charlie Adam rose to fame, Blackpool lost what was winning them all those hard games - a good team work ethic as a group, with no stand out superstars. Now the team has a big time ''Charlie'' whom Holloway has not managed to remain grounded, and therefore it''s no coincidence where things are going wrong now. Overall, it seems to me that Holloways made a mistake in trying to keep him. Unhappy players aren''t good for a club, no matter how good the player in question may be. The Blackpool/Charlie Adam thing is a prime example of why Lambert goes for whom he does, and lets anyone thats unhappy go, he realises the importance of having all his players grounded and on a level field.
Gave me food for thought Alex. Theres a lot in what you say. Makes you realise how difficult a job this management is
 4.

Bloody waiting list.... More like a closed door to any new youngsters trying to get to see their local club. Elitist bilge ignoring the grassroot support in favour of Delia''s well heeled luvvies.
With a compact ground like Carrow Rd it''s always going to be a problem squeezing everyone in whichever way you play it, isn''t it Cluck ? If and until NCFC becomes an established Premiership outfit expansion of the stadium is a huge risk. Season ticket holders are the grassroot support of any club. They''ve paid up-front for a whole season for the value-for- money convenience this brings. It also ensures that NCFC receives a guaranteed income and saves everyone, both supporters and club, a considerable amount of time, money and effort over that needed in selling tickets on a casual basis. It''s sad for those with genuine reasons in being willing but unable to attend on a regular basis but it''s '' Delia''s well heeled luvvies '' - as you put it - who are the ones who''ll have to pay much higher prices when they all come sliding out of the woodwork for the '' glory '' visits of the Man Utds., Chelseas and Arsenals of this world next season ( and hopefully beyond....)
Spot on Smiffy. Interesting how he''s not bothered with a reply. Thats because a spitful nasty answer doesn''t look good alongside a well reasoned argument.
 5.
So that explains why the players started performing recently. Chrissy Martin syndrome...... LOL
Was that really necessary?   Good to see any of our players doing well, either on loan or at home. Why would anyone want to belittle what he has done?
 6. When we came up last year Doherty and Russell both left which was a big surprise to most of us so I wouldn''t be shocked if something similar happened this time. They were both out of contract but Lambert took the oportunity to replace them with better.
 7.

Just remember that if the FA do not get this right then Cardiff will have their solicitors ready also . The Tevez affair in the end gave Sheff Utd 20 million plus compensation ( do not know what they did with that!) effectively acknowledging that West Ham had cheated them out of a place in the Premier League. I really do not like these legal arguments and feel sorry for QPR fans BUT there are rules and clubs must abide by them and I find it hard to believe after the Tevez affair that anyone in football didnt know what they were especially when getting a S American player in! I am getting the feeling they will put QPR in playoffs and give promotion to Cardiff thus avoiding legal mine field because to me from what I see in the media QPR are guilty as charged and I do not see anything from Colin or any QPR staff who can defend what they did
I agree with you there CJ - if QPR aren''t docked points and Cardiff fail to win the playoffs, Cardiff will appeal to the FA in the same way that Sheff Utd did over the Tevez affair. A former FA chief expects them being docked points though and apparently this is more serious than the Tevez affair, so I reckon "Champions" QPR will end the season with the playoffs to win to get promotion confirmed.
I think you could be right. Just to put another slant on it - I have a friend who supports Forrest and they are really upset that they could end up playing QPR in the play offs rather than Cardiff.
 8.
I posted this very similar thread about a week ago. Should have waited and regretted posting just incase we didn''t do it. The way the Swansea players acted after they beat us, their goalkeeper winding up Holt, celebrating in their changing room like they''d been promoted, just so we could hear them. Lets all wave at Swansea down there. Hello...and it was 83 points, Brendan.
Spot on. The way we have reacted to that defeat with a draw and 4 successive wins shows exactly why we are up and they aren''t. Quality and bottle
 9. I''ve never seen anything so inept as the total cock up and confusion when we were trying to substitute Whitbread. They ended up with a free kick on the edge of our area because of the second failed attempt to get Edwards on. Can you imagine what would have happened if they had scored from it? W and anchor is spot on.   Fantastic end to the game though. Got to be one of the loudest cellebrations I''ve been part of. [:D]
 10. Yes TFA, I was there. I was 14,  standing on the fencing at the back of the stand cos it was so packed. The roar when we scored in the last couple of minutes was the only other time I can remember a cellebration on par with the winner yesterday. Same sort of feeling just absolute relief and joy at the same time
 11.
Its on the red button on BBC. Simply armchair it up in the comfort of your own man-cave whilst the dulcit tones of John Motson to calm your nerves.
That is a steaming pile. Don''t get your hopes up people.
 12. No idea whats upset you with those coments Bor. All he''s saying is that no team has an automatic right to be promoted - you have to work for every point. Thats the sort of work ethic that has got us here in the first place. On the other side of the coin we won''t roll over for anybody - they will have to fight to take points off us. If we get into the premiership thats exactly the attitude we will need. Keep on doing what you''re doing Paul, most of us understand exactly where you are coming from
 13. I''m with Frank. If we can still be second after these three games then I will feel much more confident. Four points will mean either Swansea or Cardiff would have to win all their three games to overtake us which is a big ask. My gut instinct says we will get 5 points - two draws and a win. Comfy.[:)]
 14. I know its tough to take but there is no way of second guessing this. You''ll just have to wait....
 15.

Lol, touchy much? I wasn''t goading mate, I didn''t understand eh point you were trying to make. You''re the one getting his knickers all twisty here.
I also find you very prone to deliberate provocation morty. Remember this is a fans forum for everybody and not just individual egos.
I agreed with one of your posts for the first time last week and now you have made me laugh as well. Something is seriously amiss.
 16. I think I know what you''re getting at. He has been a master at quickly developing and improving the team without causing any disruption or drop in moral for those who find they are on the bench rather than regualrs in the team. Thats a tough task and shows what a top manager we have.   Dont forget we had Whitbread last season as well as Holt Hoolahan and R Martin in our first 11.
 17.
I think all of the ''musak'' detracts from the natural tribal atmosphere. Another taste of wet Americanisation creeping into our psyche.
In all the time I''ve read this forum this is the first time I''ve agreed with you cluck. I''m seriously worried,
 18. I seem to be one of the few who don''t see Swansea as our main threat. They lose games too regularly (12 already this season) and have a tough run in. I''m more concerned about Cardif whose games dont look so difficult (on paper [:P] . As for who will finish where I think it will go right down to the last game with us finshing 2nd, 3rd or 4th. I have to be honest though and say I don''t fancy the playoffs which look very evenly matched this year whoever ends up there.
 19. They can be awesome but they can be beeten too. They''ve lost 12 times this season already where as we''ve only lost 2 from the last 24. We can certianly get a point and if we do I think that will be a huge step.
 20.

What are the guaranteed add ons there asking for-or did they not give that much info away? What exactly IS a guaranteed add-on btw? A bonus if he scores a certain amount of goals or makes a certain amount of appearances-even they''re not guaranteed. Or do you mean an initial payment and then another guaranteed installment later?
I suspect the latter. They want a guaranteed £3m.
That''s what they say they want but it''s bound to be a negotiating stance. They are the ones who keep giving it large in the press where we have remained quiet. That makes me think they will compromse somewhere - almost certainly on the add-on payments rather than the original fee.
 21. Diffinitely think the story first came from Peterborogh for the reasons mentioned earlier in the thread. This is reinforced by the new stuff that has come out from Barry Fry today which makes me think that he is trying to keep the speculation alive. I wonder why? Fry has a reputation for brink-man-ship in order to get the best deal he can. He''s certainly not known for holding on to players when he gets a good offer. It''s all speculation of course but I dont feel this is dead in the water by a long chalk.
 22.
Actually I think with the league so closely contested the required points will be lower than normal, over 73 for the play offs and over 81 for the auto spot. I think we will get about 78 points and finish 4th, 4 wins, 3 draws and 3 loses. Bristol (H) - Win Hull (A) - Lose Scunthorpe (H) - Draw Swansea (A) - Win Watford (A) - Lose Forest (H) - Win Ipswich (A) - Win Derby (H) - Lose Portsmouth (A) - Draw Coventry (H) - Draw
Not a very optimistic set of results for the last three games Notts, especially as two of the teams are likely to be mid-table and have nothing to play for. I feel we''ll do better than that and end up with about 81 points. Toss of a coin if thats going to be enough or not.
 23. Don''t worry cluck I don''t think many people confused you with a lefty
 24. With all due respect Paul I think we''re better off leaving the man management to Lambert. He''ll know whether Wes needs a balling out or an arm round the shoulder better than you or Warnock (who won''t have a clue how to motivate Wes as he''s not his player).
