A team that try’s to play good football and can compete physically. I’m not bothered about signing the best players but I’m sick of signing slow and weak ones and seeing us get ran all over. There’s definitely players out there in our price range but our recruitment needs a massive shake up.

Depends on January for me. If he can get a couple of the right players in and we make a good fight of the rest of the season, then keep him. If there’s no improvement after the January window then I wouldn’t want him in charge of another transfer window.

The sad thing is this isn’t even a great Arsenal team.Our lack of pace and strength in midfield is giving the opposition all the time in the world to knock the ball about with ease. It looks like training sessions. We really need to invest in some athletes to be competitive. Mclean, Rupp, Gilmour, PLM and Dowell are just passengers at this level.

The difference is that Brentford can physically compete at this level. We can’t.
