  1. Would’ve been ‘interesting’ to see what the referee had done had Gunn had to claw that out of the top corner with his hand rather than heading it clear. Would he have given an indirect free kick in the box for handling a back pass or would he have deemed there’s no way Sainz intended to chip his own keeper and therefore let him off… we'll never know!
  2. The referee tomorrow is the amusingly-named Ben Toner who takes charge of an NCFC game for the first time. Apparently he was once replaced as referee ahead of a game at Blackpool as it was deemed inappropriate he take charge of a game at a club who (at the time) had a notoriously ‘bent owner’!
  3. I know AI is taking over but didn’t realise we had ChatGPT up front just yet! 🤖
  4. Yeah, agreed. Feels a bit harsh to criticise too much when he’s only on the mic to stand in when Goreham isn’t available but he really isn’t good at painting a picture of what’s going on.
  5. Michael Dawson played for Hull for 4 years and was anything but neutral.
  6. More chance of us signing Isaac Newton.
  7. Nope, it’s the one opposite they’re rebuilding. Away fans will still be treated to that dilapidated Arthur Wait Stand and its delightful ‘facilities’ for years to come it seems. Shocking that it wasn’t condemned years ago!
  8. The club isn’t the best place to find a lover so the directors’ box is where I go.
  9. Ryan Giggs scoring that stoppage time winner in front of the Barclay just after Grant Holt had brilliantly equalised put a little downer on my 21st birthday. For a couple of hours at least!
  10. Clicked on this thread expecting to see Burton Albion fans having their say on Attanasio…
  11. The way the entire crowd is passed through that small underpass back towards the city after games at Molineux is a recipe for trouble.
  12. Crystal Palace. How the Arthur Wait stand is still a thing at an established Premier League club in 2023 (with seemingly no plans to redevelop it) is a disgrace. It’s one of those that doesn’t look ‘too bad’ on the telly but all those who’ve been know it’s horrific. There’s the location. The terrible concourse and facilities. Such a shallow gradient/slope that you can’t see the near touchline if you’re beyond the front row and a low, sloping roof with overhanging gantries and equipment that you can’t see the far touchline. Pillars blocking your view. Wooden seats. Random bits of concrete wall between rows. I could go on. Oh and we are always crap there!
  13. I’ve done exactly that in the past, yes. Although the last time I did was several years ago so couldn’t say for sure if they’ll still do it.
  14. To put it even more starkly, five of our last six games in all competitions have been away from home. Whether that had any bearing on Saturday’s result is anyone’s guess but it was undeniably a strange run of fixtures (not helped by our ‘luck’ in the cup draws, of course).
  15. I'm glad to see a harder line being taken on smoke bombs and flares now. Having had a green smoke bomb go off pretty much in my face after we scored at the Ipswich playoff semi-final away leg in 2015, I can say it's thoroughly unpleasant for anyone, let alone those with any kind of breathing difficulties. The police there that day weren't particularly interested. I'm all for creating an atmosphere but these things can be dangerous, so for me the punishment is well deserved!
  16. The QPR game is on Wednesday, not Tuesday! 🤓
  17. Guessing we have a big allocation - usually away fans at Molineux are in the Steve Bull lower along the side of the pitch but my tickets are in the new(ish) Stan Cullis end.
  18. It’s sorted by aggregate spectators, so slanted towards those who happen to have played more home games, pretty meaningless. Should be sorted by average attendance, as you say.
