Kurt Zouma is a ****
Chelm Canary replied to KeiranShikari's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
There are many benefits to not eating meat and I'm not sure if many know this but all bad cholesterol comes from animal products. I use to love a good burger or bacon sarnie, but after having high cholesterol at 37 I did my research and cut out meat almost entirely. I also despise the cruelty that I know goes on at this animal slaughter houses so it was win win. A lot of the meat alternative options are starting to come on a long way. The Richmond meat free sausages are a personal favourite. Still need to watch the calories in them. -
But he's on loan from Chelsea which means he is the saviour of Norwich city football club.

Wes on iplayer live
Chelm Canary replied to lake district canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Love cam jam. And when he turned down Ipswich stating sorry but I very much enjoy the company of certain fans on a Saturday at 3pm. -
He's a professional football player but he is not professional. Max Aaron's is a marker for any up and coming player looking to forge a solid career. Why is Cantwell dropping down a league? It's because of his behaviour. This is a cautionary tale on how not to behave. 2 exemplary managers have tried with him and failed. There will be more.

Hugill was good for the dressing room you said
Chelm Canary replied to Mullet's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
He must be the only non player that's charmed himself into playing in modern day premier League and championship football. He isn't a footballer but has pulled something off quite spectacular -

There was an interview not long ago with a former team mate of Hugill who said he was basically a Sunday league striker but so eager to learn and a nice guy. That's not enough to cut it though really is it. -
That's a good one. I may call in sick to work on Monday week with that. "Hi is that work? I've got a background issue which shouldn't be speculated in the public domain....."

The likelihood is we will go down even with a quality CDM that we throw millions of pounds at then pay a ridiculous wage. I don't think anyone is that bothered because the idea is a non starter. Assuming we could even get a player that could make a difference it's financial suicide. Then if we are relegated which is a high probability we have a player that's cost a fair few million and is eating up a large part of the wage bill. Unless an absolute gem is unturned at a cheap price then what is the point? When digging around the bargain basement you never know what you're going to get. Often it's a dud or someone injury prone.

You and Erwin Dawes? I'm jealous you're going to Lanzarote. I'm dying for a break some sun. Enjoy it. I wish I was. -
Brentford, come on down
Chelm Canary replied to Making Plans's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I'm not pinning too much on Brentford's result today against Liverpool. They will probably survive this season and go down the next as standard for a lot of newly promoted teams. It would take a continuation of catastrophic form for them to be drawn into this but I do hope it happens. It probably won't. -
How many points this season to survive?
Chelm Canary replied to Darth Canary1's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I would say 32 points would do it. -
Many apologies to that young Mr.Idah
Chelm Canary replied to Rhino1's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Early days but I'd written him off myself. He's gone from a player most people wanted loaned out to a championship club to an asset in my mind that we need to keep hold of. A year ago who would you rather have seen leave first - Cantwell or Idah? Should be a lesson to Cantwell about working hard, perseverance and loyalty....not that I think Cantwell will care.
