1. And another defeat. Very familiar pattern now developing. I don't expect miracles, but I would have thought after last season city had something about them to put up a good fight and display this season. Severely lacking all over the pitch.
2. Not conceding a goal was a massive step in the right direction. As Alen Hanson always maintains, a successful team is built from a solid defence.
3. You are so thick you can't see the irony of your reply.
4. Villa want to stay in the premiership. Delia is just pleased to be there for one season. That's the difference.
5. And you if don't like the topic don't comment βš“
6. And that is what I'm saying. I'm not a binner or a whinger. Farke is the best manager city have ever had. The team is probably one of the best. What I'm saying is Delia isn't prepared to push on to the next level. She has proved that consistently over recent years. Even going back to 2004.
7. Time for Delia Smith to go. Forget the current injuries. The circle of doom has happened several times. She has no long term ambition to keep city in the premiership.
8. Avoiding relagation is the objective this season, in my opinion. Then building on remaining in the league without a continual relagation dogfight. With that in mind and its only my opinion, Watford will be relagated this season. And on current form Newcastle look poor. So that leaves one relagation place to fill this season.
9. Anything less than 4 will be a result. Could even beat the Colchester game.
10. What a tw*t. I'm sure city lost three of their six games in total last season by early September. City are still settling in and Farke, as a manager, finding his feet in the Premiership. City will finish well above the relegation places come the end of the season.
11. Very sad, if and when Bolton fold. Bolton were one of the group of 12 founding members of the football league. Also Bury twice FA cup winners.
12. Why the hatred for a manager who did so much for City, pathetic.
13. Let's all remember how last season started. Time to make an assessment will be after 10 or 12 games. The squad and management have to find their feet first.
14. 2.0 City. It's there for the taking. Liverpool will have the mindset of an easy opening game. I genuinely believe City will catch them cold.
15. Less then a week until the new season starts for City. A time to look forward with anticipation and a certain amount of trepidation. My own view is that the coming season will be similar to Farkes first season at City in the championship. There will good days and bad days with city, in my opinion finishing about 14th or 15th after a hard learning curve of a season. I genuinely believe City and Farke will kick on in the second season of Premiership football, just like last season.
16. Who can blame him for taking the money. The club offered him the contract. I'm sure most peole being critical of him wouldn't have walked out of the contract had their employer done the same.
17. Celtic have pulled out of the deal to sign him permantly, stating they would only take him on loan for a year. With no guarantee that they would sign him after the loan period. During a medical it was discovered Turnball has previously unknown knee injury. He will be out for at least six months.
18. How much more time should he be given before the board bins him and his project?
19. Gone from a relatively good squad which were promoted to a cheap and cheerful Poundland squad.
20.
We have a good team in the making. Still learning, still getting to know how to get the best out of themselves, still developing. Don''t believe the nonsense spoken about players not being good enough either or not as good as last year or the year before, because apart from Maddison who was always going to be sold, we have some very good players. Name me one poor performer from Sunday - Krul? No. Klose? Hanley? No. Lewis, Aarons? No. Leitner? No - a mixed bag but some quality through balls and a goal. Tettey? No. Pukki? Looked good in spells but wasn''t poor overall. Hernandez? Always capable of causing trouble and his play set up the goal. Rhodes - always works hard even when things aren''t going for him. Buendia showed his inexperience, but anyone can see he has potential. So overall, the season moves on, a difficult start with a whole new front to the team and getting the youngsters involved. The whole club from top to bottom is healthy financially, healthy on the football coaching side, healthy with good players - and with a plan and the determination to see it succeed. So don''t believe the negative hype. It is just that - negative and hype.
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ’©πŸ’©
