Time to get Fonkeu
Coq au vin replied to If wed only kept Howie..'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I''m not sure of his attributes but he''ll be out of our price range. We''re shopping in Tesco. He''s Sainsbury''s Best Of or whatever it''s called. -

On the Pink Un main page. And Paddy said today on the 1.15pm chat, aside from any major hitch, the Phillips chap is done too. -

Cameron Jerome next ?
Coq au vin replied to Midlands Yellow's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
What if he doesn''t fit with Farke''s tactical style? We all keep thinking of that dreadful 231 that Neil employed into next season. If someone wants Jerome worse for age in the Champ for over the odds then let them have him -
Be honest, who cares? He''s a celebrity face. I''d be concerned with what interest rate my current account allows for.

How Can We Reinvest ?? The big problem !
Coq au vin replied to norfolkngood's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I trust Webber because he''s a man who clearly knows his stuff and has made a massive hack at deadwood at Norwich. Not just with players but staff too. Worst case we break even if owing with Jacob''s sale. It''s not like we don''t have a range of talent in place to take his place. You have been reading too much into figures you don''t know are gospel truth and riding on speculation. Just have to ride the storm out and see where it leaves us. In the meantime enjoy the transition which so many people longed for. Few football fans can enjoy a transition that''s so positive. Imagine being a Sunderland fan currently, in Premier League debt and sinking. So what''s a few million in the grand scheme of things? The man Webber has been employed with the aid of Stone to review, cut and replace within our remit. A lot of fans want the youth squadron to filter through but this is just only in the want of necessity. Irvine identified the need to do so only at encouragement - why introduce a young player to a defeatist atttiude or scar them with failure? It takes time, patience and an understanding of the rebuilding job we''ve so desperately wanted and needed since Lambert left. -

Bit bitter Canary King. Murphy doesn''t deserve that, he''s just trying to improve on his career. Like anyone would. Shame it was Newcastle as I''m not a fan of their ''way''.

If we all ignored him, he might go away. But we don''t and he won''t

Boro after the other one.
Coq au vin replied to Canaries north's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I genuinely thought Jacob to Newcastle made sense. Josh to Boro wouldn''t. Selling to a team likely to be around our mix for that little £ would make little financial sense. What if Josh makes considerable bounds in development, towards the end of last season he was the better player in that wide role. Jacob looked tired. There seems to be a strategy behind the scenes. Boro are trying to upset a few applecarts potentially. I say that because it could be media tosh... and being Joe Punter we know zip ultimately- 34 replies

Klose & Pritchard Injury Update

Maddison''s time is now. Bet he thought it would never happen. -
I''d forgotten all about Kai Kamara! Becchio was never injured was he? He just never played. Kinda ruined that guy''s career.

Cambridge Friendly Thread

What did people think to Wildschut at Cams? First time I''ve really seen him play for longer than 15 mins. Looked slow and indecisive to me. No forethought to passing and nervous on the ball. I keep desperately wanting to see a good player in there but I''m not sure he''s good enough for this squad. -
Saw him play his debut at that 3-1 win over B''Mouth. He looked like a class act and worked really well with Brady. Such good link up play. But then that was it. No more. A real shame, I don''t think he''ll ever be back to fitness. And we''re stuck with him until 2019 doing sweet f''all. Wish I had his salary to sit around on my ass trying to kick a football about.

I reckon so, can''t imagine it''s "sold out". Worst case you get put with the United fans but it''s only a friendly so not that bad really -
What other area's do we need to Strengthen?
Coq au vin replied to Aveit's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
In all fairness scampi is one of the best things you can ever ingest as a human. I worked as a fish n chip boy as my first ever job for 2 yrs in Dereham prepping all the fish n chips. By and large scampi was the dish the landowners indulged in. Frozen I hasten to add but an 8 portion extravaganza nevertheless -

Priorities for me CB FWD That''s on the proviso Klose goes. And Oliveira goes. Rumours abound for a reason, and there may be a potentially better option waiting in the wings should we receive a fair amount for him. Webber is clearly no fool. Our transfer rumours in appear briefly before it actually happens. I won''t be surprised if some massive changes occur without us having a clue
